Original Tekehiko Japanese Sterling Silver Yacht Gold Treasure Ship
This original sterling silver sculpture is in excellent condition and features a Treasure ship. These were made in the late 1940s and earlier by Takehiko. The ship is made from Sterling silver. Seki Takehiko was born 1908 in Chiba Prefecture.
The case measures approximately 7 inches high by 6 1/4 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
This statue has a label on it from 1989 when it was used as a Heisei championship award trophy.
The statue ship itself measures 3 inches tall by 2 inches wide and deep (approximately).

It comes in a nice glass case. Made in the 1980s by Seki Takehiko in Japan. The boat is marked on the side, sterling 960 Seki. The yacht is made of argentium 960 silver and the bottom wave is made of silver plate. Argentium has a higher silver content than traditional sterling silver making it more tarnish resistant with a brighter appearance.
