Tampa Yacht Club Wedding: Annie + Noah

They say actions speak louder than words, and that is definitely true when you watched the two of them together at their Tampa Yacht Club Wedding. That’s not to say they didn’t speak sweetly to each other or make big promises that day, because they did. But that’s not how you knew theirs would be a love that lasted. It was there in the tears that filled his eyes the moment she appeared at the back of the church. It was in the way she took his hand in moments of quiet during dinner or found herself in his arms while they waited at the bar. In the fact that his most genuine smiles that day were the ones that couldn’t help but appear on his face every time he looked at her. Yes, theirs would be a love that lasted because they simply couldn’t help it . . . . . .

Annie and Noah are married! The two of them spoke their vows in a family-centric ceremony conducted by the bride’s uncle at Christ the King Catholic Church . Annie wore a stunningly timeless gown and cathedral length veil and looked like she had just stepped out of the pages of a wedding editorial. After getting ready at home with her sweet friends, Annie and her ladies all headed to the Yacht Club for some pre-ceremony pictures. On the bus the girls all sang along to songs, laughing at some and shedding a few tears at others, and it felt like something straight out of a movie. All brides should be surrounded by a group of girls like this on their wedding days. <3

Noah spent the morning getting ready at the Yacht Club, and when it was finally time to see his bride walk down the aisle at Christ the King his reaction simply couldn’t have been any more heart exploding. It was so hard not to tear up right along with him as he watched Annie on the arm of her proud dad.

Guests headed to The Tampa Yacht Club after the ceremony where the ballroom had a beautifully fresh floral vibe, that was perfect for the season. Tables were decorated in hues of bright blue and filled with tons of springtime florals, sweet little bows on the menus and clear acrylic chairs. After dinner and speeches, everyone relocated to the reception tent which was home to one of the most epic dance parties we’ve ever attended. With an amazing band hopping in and out of the crowd all night and some seriously infectious energy, this was absolutely one for the books! At the end of the night, the newlyweds shared one last private dance before heading out through a tunnel of streamers and sliding into the backseat of a vintage car.

Annie and Noah, this day was so much fun and we loved every minute of it more than you know! Hope you love these sneak peeks every bit as much as we do!

This Members Only Yacht Club must be doing something right, I'm told the waiting list to join is 2 years long. The prime rib was the best I've had in Florida. I asked for medium rare and the meat was pink all the way through. Steak was thick and juicy. Forgot to take a picture. Service was impeccable.

Service was a 10/10. They were very professional and accommodating. The staff were attentive and helpful. The drinks were excellent. The food was fresh and light. So many areas to relax and enjoy yourself. A great experience.

Total garbage. Rude wait staff and every patron tries to sell me insurance. How unprofessional.

After being a member of years and having a large event there last year I have really rather enjoyed being a part of this particular Country Club. Even thought I believe to be one of the youngest members the other patrons have always been warm and excellent to introduce and converse with. The facilities include a gym, pool, horse stables, tennis, restaurant and optional dining areas for different dress codes. The gym is limited in their equipment but it seems to be doing the job. Treadmills and free weights and the occasional classes are always available. The staff at the gym are beyond wonderful. The tennis courts surrounding the inside gym are always full of matches and since I live across the street I can hear the tennis balls from sun up to sun down. The pool area is beautifully maintained and offers a snacks and adult beverages at the window of the main building. I must admit, the pool is where you'll find me mostly. Can't beat a heated pool this size. The restaurant is immaculate and always bustling. The food needs a little tending too, it always seems to have "Yacht Club Sauce," on everything so dubbed by what we call it. It all starts tasting the same but the specials are usually something you can't go wrong with. I highly recommend joining. At the moment they are offering fee options over a year or so that appeal to a younger audience on a tighter budget instead of an all at once fee.

Was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Food was great too!

Been to many weddings and events here over the years. (My own wedding reception was here 20 years ago!) beautiful venue for special events and the food is always delicious. It is a private club so you have to know a member to go here or hold an event here. Great service as well!

| Tampa Yacht Club Wedding |

I almost have no words to describe how beautiful Grace and Chris’ wedding was. From the amazing couple, the elegant decor, the Sperry Tent (one of my all-time favorite tents- check out the pictures you’ll see what I’m talking about) to the amazing band! All I can say is this wedding was literally out of this world!

Grace and Chris chose to get married at the Tampa Yacht Club , a beautiful venue overlooking the waters of the west coast. I can honestly say I’ve never seen this place as decorated as it was on this day- Sarah Fairbairn from One Fine Day, Botanica and Style House did an incredible job! Just look at the large chandelier hanging through beautiful green florals, with white chairs and glass table decor. Simply stunning.

Speaking of stunning, was the bride herself. Grace was dressed in a gorgeous white wedding gown from Isabel O’Neil Bridal Boutique and her long veil carried down past her dress- such a beauty! I also have to note how adorable her flower girls looked in their navy tulle dresses which complemented the groom in his navy tux. 

The two said “I do” out by the water with the most amazing Florida weather we could’ve asked for. Guests were then ushered to the Sperry Tent and the reception commenced shortly after. Navy couches were set up among the bar which created a “lounge” are for guests to mingle at. The wedding cake by Hands on Sweets was exquisite like every other piece of decor, standing 5 tiers tall. And of course, the band (The Headliners) was AWESOME and had everyone out on the dance floor dancing all night!

Grace and Chris, you know I adore you guys! I am still picking my jaw up off of the ground after your wedding. What an amazing day! Here’s to wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.Thank you for letting me capture your special day! XOXO

Jeanine & Dan’s Tampa Yacht Club Wedding

Tampa yacht club wedding.

Jeanine and Dan tied the knot during their Tampa Yacht Club wedding in Tampa, Florida.  Their wedding day vision was filled with laughter and love from family and friends, an oceanside ceremony, spectacular ballroom reception for dining, and dance tented dance floor underneath the stars.

The Numbers Add Up to Love

Both accountants, the two met by chance in an elevator at an accounting conference.  Immediately taken by Jeanine, Dan made sure that he had asked for her number before she reached her floor.  From there, they started dating and soon romance ensued, along with a  proposal!

Jeanine and Dan have such an easygoing personality and make you feel so incredibly welcomed from the moment you meet them.  Arriving a bit early, we headed upstairs to the bridal suite to capture Jeanine’s details and getting ready while Dan headed over to the Tampa Yacht Club.  Jeanine’s smile most definitely lit up the room, and I loved how concerned she was with making everyone feel welcomed – us included!

Wedding Day at the Tampa Yacht Club

Once Dan arrived, we captured him and his guys downstairs in a pretty nifty men’s parlor room.  With both ready for their big day, it was time for their first look to begin!

A grand hallway with natural light showering in and beautiful chandeliers made for the perfect first look location.  Setting Dan up to see Jeanine, we could all tell how excited he was.  Holding back the tears, our couple shared a beautiful moment together alone on their wedding day during their first look before the crazy fun began of formal portraits.

Hidden away from guests arriving for our couple’s ceremony, we picked a beautiful blue room that complemented their ivory, silver, and gold color scheme for the backdrop of formal portraits.  With a large bridal party in tow, it was critical to grab all of our formal portraits – including family too! – so that our couple could enjoy part of cocktail hour.  Well let me just tell you that as soon as Aguie, our sweetheart’s pup, arrived the show totally stopped – I mean seriously she completely took the spotlight haha.  As excited as everyone was to see Aguie, Aguie was just as excited to see Jeanine and Dan (well a little moreso Jeanine, but Dan understood haha).  With a few special pictures taken of their family, Jeanine, Dan, Aguie, and Dan’s kiddos, we were off to prepare for the ceremony.

As Jeanine walked down the aisle, it was clear to see how absolutely captivated our couple’s guests were.  Their ceremony took place on the great lawn, overlooking the water and grandiose yachts parked nearby.  With “I do’s” said and a first kiss shared, we headed off to to beautiful front entryway of the Tampa Bay Yacht Club (special request from our bride!) and afterwards a few sunset shots with the yachts in the background.

Sending our couple off to cocktail hour shortly after, we prepared for their reception entrance.  I must say that while we loved every toast, Dan’s son and best man completely nailed the humor and had everyone laughing the entire time.

Our night ended with dancing, more dancing, and even more dancing before a few quick night portraits in front of the yachts, along with hugs goodbye.  Wishing our sweethearts and their family and amazing life together filled with the same love for eternity that they felt on their special day!

We got married on Yacht Starship IV out of Clearwater Beach and our wedding day was absolutely incredible. Everything went so perfect and smooth. Joey, our venue coordinator, was phenomenal down to every detail and keeping things running smoothly. We can’t thank him enough for taking care of us on our day. The other staff and Dj Pharaoh were also incredible. We have heard from family and friends that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! We cannot thank them enough for making it so special for us.

We wanted a unique all in one ceremony and reception, we were exploring downtown when we came across yacht starship we looked at each other and thought “how cool would it be to get married on the water”. From the moment we contacted the boat for a meeting it was a amazing experience. We first met with Chris D to talk about the details, guest count, date and our vision once that was in place and contract was signed 3 month out we were contacted by Joey O (our day of coordinator). We scheduled an in person meeting to walk through the yacht and decide seating arrangements and table placements and talk time line. Every time I reached out with a question or concern I had an answer right away. Honestly this takes the stress out of wedding planning they were so helpful with everything. We were able to do a rehearsal the day before on our boat as well as bring on any décor that we would need to have set up & Joey made sure it was done and reflected our vision. Our wedding was Friday, June 16th and was flawless. We are still getting compliments on the amazing food and service by the waitstaff. The rental fee ranges from $800 to $1,400 for a reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a wedding ceremony ranges from $150 to $200 with reception rental. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee, please inquire with venue as they can only be purchased in blocks of 6. Please note, venue is closed on Mondays and the main dining room is open on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday only.
