LUXURY YACHT ATLANTA

Please read all of this before you ask for a quote to book. It gives our rates and location of the boat. Will save all of us a lot of time. Come aboard a beautiful express cruiser and relax, party or something in between! Make your special event even more special by spending the day, evening or night onboard a luxury yacht on either Lake Lanier or Lake Allatoona. Both are world class lakes located on the north side of the Atlanta metro area. We like both lakes so do move the boat between lakes based upon the seasons. Our preference is Lake Allatoona because its more of a wilderness lake offering much more privacy and beauty when anchored in the numerous gorgeous forested deep water coves. The boat is currently on Lake Allatoona untl fall 2024. We pick up in the Little River/Woodstock/Acworth areas. We are now hosting small weddings on the boat as the first mate is now a wedding officiant so if you'd like to get married on the bow of a beautiful boat in a private cove or have all your friends rent boats or bring their own to tie up and make it a big deal that is possible as well. Anything you can dream we can make happen! The boat is a 38 foot duel engine express cruiser that sleeps up to 7 people in 4 berths on two levels. The boat features full galley, two showers, head, two dining areas and plenty of outside seating for conversation and relaxing. The interior areas are really for dodging storms or using the restroom. Honestly if you need a boat with a large air conditioned interior that you can hang out in please do not book our boat. The lower areas are for sleeping on overnight trips and really cannot support folks just wanting to hang out down below. This boat is for those wanting to enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, trees and beauty of the lake. Swim ladder and swim deck allow easy access to the warm water from late May thru September. October thru April are beautiful for cruising and enjoying the scenery, sunsets and night sounds. Swimming gets chilly during these months. The boat can handle a crew of 2 plus 6-8 guests. We limit guest group sizes to 6-8 so we can serve you better. Our goal is to make sure there's plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. You will have an operator and a first mate available to help while onboard. First mate isn't always available so its possible you'll only have the operator. Birthdays, special celebrations, sunset cruises, dinner parties, night swims, tie ups, photo and video shoots all have been done on this vessel. The boat is well maintained, is gorgeous and has life jackets, swim ladder and foam noodles for swimming. If you do decide to come aboard we ask a few simple things: no heavy drinking, no running, pushing or other dangerous activities while onboard. Once on the water the operator and first mate will give a safety talk which will need to be adhered to. The operator at anytime can bring the group back to the dock if she or he feels the group is acting dangerously. Obviously the goal is to have fun, but everyone must remember that being on the water is serious business. Alcohol, food and smokes are allowed onboard with moderation. Please also no large coolers, wagons, huge plates of food or any food items that need to be reheated, cooked or prepared onboard. Keep your plans simple and elegant. That way you have less worry and more time for relaxing and fun. We always have extra cooler space for some drinks and food. We go out for a minimum of 3 hrs. We discount our hourly rate starting with 4 hr trips. Boats of this size are expensive so to take you out on the water will be expensive. We clean the boat and do a safety check before every trip. This is an example of our rates so you aren't surprised. Please note we may increase or decrease these rates based upon our schedules and other variables. 3 HR Trip - $450 4 HR Trip - $575 5 HR Trip - $700 6 HR Trip - $800 Thereafter each hour is an additional $75 so the longer you stay out the cheaper the average rate is. Additional Terms & Information

If the boat trip is canceled day of due to weather or other unforseen events, a credit will be issued for a similar trip in the future but no refunds. The operator will wait up to 20 minutes past your pick up time. Wait time after 20 minutes is charged at $100 per hour or $25 per 15 minutes. No show groups will not be granted a credit or refund. The boat is equipped with all necessary safety equipment. Please when you get onboard let the operator know if you do not know how to swim. No heavy drinking, horse play, hookahs, large coolers or wagons allowed onboard. Please make sure food, drink etc is all in smaller parcels that can be easily carried by those getting onboard. Do not bring food that needs to be prepared or reheated in the galley. Please make sure everyone uses the facilities at the pick up location before boarding. Marine toilets can be touchy and its best to go before you go!

Track club CEO: AJC Peachtree Road Race will be ‘the party of the summer’

The race to the White House isn’t the only contest on Georgians’ minds.

Exactly one week after the presidential debate, people all over the Peach State will look for the winners of the annual Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race .

Many local and national politicians run the 10-kilometer race. Atlanta Track Club CEO Rich Kenah said on “Politically Georgia” Tuesday he welcomes runners from both sides of the aisle.

“I want to be clear that the track club in this race is apolitical. So we welcome everyone from the left and from the right,” said Kenah.

The race is in its 55th year and this year’s event will be the club’s largest since its 50th in 2019 and a return to pre-pandemic levels of participation.

“We’ll be in excess of 50,000 people,” said Kenah.

The AJC Peachtree Road Race is billed as the world’s largest 10K race. It happens every Fourth of July, and the planning takes up so much time that Kenah — a former Olympian and two-time World Championship bronze medalist — hasn’t had a chance to run it himself.

“I get to live vicariously through you and 50,000 other people as I watch you guys cross the start line, and then I race the back way down the finish line,” he said.

Kenah and other workers will be watching the heat as the July race brings scorching temperatures.

“The good news is it’s been hot for the last week, so that’s a great way to get acclimated,” said Kenah. “For those who have not done enough preparation, it’s not too late.”

“Get out in the morning, the time that you’re normally going to be participating, and get acclimated to the heat and the humidity out there,” he added.

But even in the sweltering heat, the entertainment surrounding the Peachtree Road Race will be on full blast.

“We’re the party of the summer, so leaning into that theme, we’ll have more entertainment on the course and the finish line than we’ve ever had,” said Kenah.

He said the race will have everything from “country music artists to hip hop artists, to cheer stations, volunteers, everything and anything in between.”

“We expect hundreds of thousands of people to be watching as well,” he said.

It is too late to register for this year’s race, but if you still want to be involved, there is a way to participate.

“The race doesn’t happen without volunteers,” said Kenah.

The deadline to volunteer for the race is this Wednesday. To volunteer, fill out the track club’s online form .

You’ll be able to see the available opportunities, and the duties, as well as how many spots are still available, and you’ll be able to tick off the ones that interest you.

“If you take the collective years of experience of our volunteers, there are over 100,000 hours of volunteer expertise,” said Kenah. “(They) will be deployed out there to make sure that everybody really does have the best possible experience on the Fourth of July.”

Justin timberlake's arresting officer enjoys boat party, not sweating publicity, justin timberlake days after dwi bust ... arresting officer boats it up w/pals.

The rookie cop who arrested Justin Timberlake for DWI is soaking up summer in the Hamptons ... and doesn't seem the least bit concerned by his newfound fame.

Michael Arkinson -- the Sag Harbor police officer who pulled over Justin and took him to jail -- spent his Sunday Funday on a boat, about an hour north of where he busted JT. If you didn't know, he and his partner, Otis , are cited in the police report as the arresting officers ... but Mike's getting credit as the guy who brought Justin in for booking.

Anyway ... check out these photos/videos, obtained by TMZ, showing a sometimes shirtless Arkinson sitting in a power boat docked at a restaurant in Greenport, NY over the weekend.

Folks who were there tell us Arkinson was eating and drinking at Claudio's Waterfront ... and kept a relatively low profile in the wake of his big bust, although it doesn't looks like he was trying to hide here. Dude's just out living life ... undeterred by all the attention he got in the wake of last week's arrest of Justin.

Arkinson, we're told, was hanging with a handful of buddies -- and they spent a few hours at the seafood spot before heading back to their boat.

The guy's already well-known around Sag Harbor. Locals told media outlets he's a bit of a traffic stickler, and now he's even more in the spotlight -- a local celeb of sorts, if you will.

Based on what we're seeing here though, Arkinson's not too bashful ... and it looks like he knows how to have a good time on Long Island, even after his name's been blown up in the media this past week.

Don't expect to see Arkinson's body cam of his interaction with Justin anytime soon, though -- as we first reported, Sag Harbor PD is not releasing the footage ... at least not until their investigation wraps.

In the meantime, Justin's continuing his world tour ... and Arkinson's taking full advantage of having friends with a boat.

Ya gotta imagine the convos he's having lately -- something tells us they all start with the same question, about the same suspect.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will meet for their first general election debate Thursday in Georgia , the battleground that yielded the closest 2020 margin of any state and became the epicenter of Trump’s efforts to overturn Biden’s election.

Now, in their rematch, Georgia will test which man can best assemble a winning coalition despite their respective weaknesses. Each must persuade grumpy voters in places like Fayette County, a suburb south of Atlanta, that they’re less frightening than the alternative.

Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for the third consecutive time, has been convicted of felony crimes and awaits sentencing and three more criminal trials, including in Atlanta. That legal peril could exacerbate his struggles with moderate Republicans and independents, some of whom abandoned him as he helped dismantle the constitutional right to an abortion and refused to accept defeat in 2020.

Biden, the Democratic incumbent, has presided over an inflationary economy, struggled with a Middle East war that divides Democrats, and failed to resolve immigration problems along the southern U.S. border. He faces potential defections from nonwhite and younger voters.

One of Georgia’s richest counties, Fayette has long housed retirees and Delta Air Lines workers seeking homes near Atlanta’s airport. Now it’s also a bastion of Georgia’s state-subsidized movie industry . At the Trillith development, a rapidly growing high-end town and movie studio, workers can be overheard discussing the latest Captain America movie being filmed there.

Like other Atlanta suburbs, the 120,000-resident county has been angling left. Democrats haven’t yet deposed Fayette’s Republican majority, but they got close in December 2022, when Democratic U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock won 49.5% of Fayette’s votes in defeating Republican Herschel Walker .

“We do believe that the pathway to the presidency comes right through Fayette County this year,” said Joe Clark, chair of the Fayette County Democratic Party and a Fayetteville City Council member.

The Trump campaign on June 13 opened its first Georgia campaign office in Fayetteville.

“They want to try to flip our county,” warned Brian Jack , a former Trump aide who recently clinched the GOP nomination for a Republican-leaning congressional seat.

Statewide, Republicans say Georgia still tilts toward them. Yes, Democrats won statewide four times in Georgia, starting with Biden in 2020, continuing as Jon Ossoff and Warnock swept to twin victories in a 2021 runoff that clinched Democratic control of the U.S. Senate, and culminating in Warnock’s reelection in 2022. But GOP Gov. Brian Kemp won a second term as governor in 2022 over Democrat Stacy Abrams by a comfortable margin , sweeping down-ballot offices along the way.

Lauren Groh-Wargo, Abrams’ top strategist, said Democrats were slow to engage in Georgia in 2020. Both sides have been spending heavily this year.

“This is the first time since the 1990s that Georgia has been a top-tier battleground state for the presidential on both sides of the aisle, from the beginning of both campaigns,” Groh-Wargo said.

Both sides have work to do. Many voters, Democrats and Republicans, say they’re dispirited by the Trump-Biden rematch. Some say they’re not sure that they will even vote.

Robert Kennedy Jr.’s independent bid is another wildcard. Kennedy hasn’t been certified for the ballot, but he could make Georgia even harder to predict.

Some formerly solid Republicans have taken to splitting their tickets. Trump and Walker showed weakness in metro Atlanta even as Kemp remained strong.

Quentin Fulks , a southwest Georgia native who is Biden’s principal deputy campaign manager and steered Warnock’s 2022 campaign, estimates that Warnock won 9% of Republican voters.

“Candidate quality matters,” said Republican strategist Brian Robinson. Trump ignited “a real realignment” that drew working-class voters without college degrees toward Republicans, Robinson said, but has pushed away college-educated voters.

Some of those voters “still want to vote for Republicans or are willing to,” but only in the right circumstances. In Georgia’s Republican presidential primary in March, about 78,000 voters — most in metro Atlanta — voted for Nikki Haley over Trump even after Haley suspended her campaign . Haley’s total was more than six times Biden’s 2020 Georgia victory margin.

Fayette ranks seventh among Georgia’s 159 counties in voters who backed Kemp but not Walker. Haley won 13.2% statewide, but nearly 19% in Fayette County.

Rhonda Quillian, shopping at a Peachtree City farmer’s market, backed Haley. She says neither Biden nor Trump feel like an option for her. She’s considering not voting at all.

Quillian said she liked Trump’s policies after she voted for him in 2016, but soured on him, especially after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot .

“If he wasn’t such an egomaniac, I would vote for him in a skinny minute because of the policies,” Quillian said. “But he’s a little scary when he starts talking and he’s trying to overthrow the election and being anti-Constitution and, you know, ‘I’m the law.’ I’m sorry, no, this is a democratic republic.”

For Biden, the challenge is replicating the coalition that delivered his razor-thin margin. Responding to warnings from Georgia Democrats that he must engage with Black voters , the president has visited routinely, and Vice President Kamala Harris has made five trips to Georgia this year.

“We have to talk to Black voters in both urban and rural Georgia,” Fulks said. “That is where I start.”

Trump has boasted that he will make inroads among Black voters . Robinson acknowledged it’s unlikely Trump would get even a fifth of Black voters, but said he wouldn’t necessarily have to: Black voters typically account for about 30% of Georgia ballots. If some Black voters stay home, or Biden’s share drops even a little, Trump could benefit.

Deidra Ellington, a counselor who lives in Fayetteville, calls the choice between Biden and Trump “slim pickings.” Ellington, who is Black, says she no longer feels allegiance to either party.

“It’s almost to a point where you’re not even able to live paycheck to paycheck,” Ellington said. “You get the first paycheck, and then it’s borrowing in between before the next paycheck.”

In an April poll by The Associated Press and the NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, more Democrats said Biden had hurt than helped on the cost of living and immigration. The Biden campaign has been trying to salve that pain .

“The president deeply understands what Americans are going through, and also the fact that there is more work to do,” Fulks said.

Republicans, meanwhile, aim to turn the election into a referendum on Biden’s handling of the economy.

“My pitch is, are you happy with $4 a gallon gas and $6 for a jar of mayonnaise? If you’re not, it was not like that when Trump was in office,” said Suzanne Brown, a Peachtree City Council member who has canvassed for Republicans this spring.

Democrats say they’re out-organizing Trump , aiming to turn out marginal Democrats and persuade independents and moderate Republicans to back Biden. The campaign has a dozen offices and 75 staffers statewide, including some in Fayetteville.

“I think that Trump is underestimating the power of organizing,” Fulks said.

Not so, says Republican National Committee spokesperson Henry Scavone. He says the Trump campaign has gone from zero offices to a dozen since June 13.

Republicans, aware voters are in a sour mood, are optimistic but not cocky about places like Fayette County.

“If the election were held today, Donald Trump would almost certainly win here,” Robinson said. “But the election isn’t being held today.”

The moment has been four years in the making: President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump on a debate stage, another flashpoint in their long-running hostilities.

The debate, hosted by CNN at its Atlanta studios starting at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, will occur without an in-person audience and before Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden formally accept their parties’ nominations this summer, in a dramatic departure from the past.

Where can I watch it?

The New York Times will stream the debate alongside real-time commentary and analysis from reporters.

CNN will broadcast or stream the debate on all its platforms, including its flagship cable channel, as well as CNN International, CNN en Español and CNN Max. The network also plans to stream the debate on CNN.com. You will not have to log in or be a subscriber to watch the stream.

CNN is also sharing its feed with other broadcast and cable news networks so that they could simulcast the debate. That means you can also watch it on Fox News, ABC News and probably elsewhere.

Will Robert F. Kennedy Jr. be onstage?

No. He failed to meet CNN’s requirements, which means Ross Perot remains the last independent candidate to have qualified for a general election presidential debate — and that was in 1992. For this debate, participants had to receive at least 15 percent support in four approved national polls and qualify for the ballot in enough states to have the chance to earn the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency.

Who is moderating the debate?

The moderators will be Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, who are fixtures on the anchor desk at CNN and the hosts of the network’s Sunday political talk show, “ State of the Union .” Mr. Tapper is CNN’s chief Washington correspondent, and Ms. Bash is the network’s chief political correspondent.
