Welcome Visitors

The Essex Corinthian Yacht Club warmly extends a cordial welcome to skippers, crews, and visitors. Visiting yachtsmen and women who are members of a recognized and reciprocating yacht club are welcome with proper identification.

For information on mooring availability, arriving yachts should call the office at 860-767-3239 Tuesday through Friday before their travel to request a mooring reservation ($25/night). If the Essex Corinthian office is closed, call Safe Harbor at 860-767-8267. On the day of travel, Safe Harbor Dauntless Marina can be reached on VHF Channel 68 when approaching the mooring field; the staff will direct you to a Corinthian Club mooring, or the launch will guide you out if necessary. Launch service is available by calling Channel 68. Dinghies may land on the inland end of the southern floating docks or at the dinghy dock behind the main fuel dock. Ice is available on the Fuel Dock. ECYC and Safe Harbor accept VISA and MasterCard as the only means of payment.
