Motor yacht 'Mojo' moored in the port of Valencia on 29, june 2017. "Mojo's colourful history dates back to 1958 when she was launched as HMS Packington at the Harland & Wolf shipyard in Belfast, to serve as a minesweeper in the Royal Navy. The following year she was acquired by the South African Navy for the same purpose and rechristened SAS Walvisbaai. After serving 40 years in the South African Navy she was sold to the Walt Disney film company to be used as the R/V Belafonte in Wes Anderson's film, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. It was in 2006 when the current owner claimed her as his own, before she was sailed from Malta to Dubai to start with a six year restoration and upgrading process." Motor yacht MOJO is a 20.36m (66' 10") Princess yacht built in 2008 and fully refurbished in 2023. She is an open yacht who can accommodate up to four guests in two cabins, looked after by a crew of two. NOTABLE FEATURES OF MOJO: ~Great charter yacht for smaller groups ~Water toys ~Al fresco dining ~Pristine interior ~Air conditioning ~WiFi

EXTERIOR This lovely open yacht presents two distinct deck spaces with dining on the aft deck and sunbathing on the foredeck. As well as the u-shaped dining setting on the aft deck there is an adjacent sun pad and crew preparation area.

MOJO Specifications

The foredeck offers a double sun pad with lovely views out to the bow, where guests can sun themselves when at anchor.

INTERIOR Through sliding glass doors from the aft deck finds the main salon and bridge. Rich dark wood flooring and cabinetry ground the cream soft furnishings. Wide windows throw lots of light into the salon and a u-shaped sofa and table can host guests for dinner or just to sit back and relax. The bridge is forward to starboard and a cosy sofa seat is forward to port plus a section of the roof opens to the sun.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The two suites are configured as one master and one VIP which is placed forward. Both the suites benefit from ensuite bathrooms and there is separate twin cabin and ensuite to accommode the crew.

Panama City Beach Police Chief Talamantez placed on administrative leave pending investigation

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - We’re currently learning more about an investigation involving Panama City Beach Police Chief J.R. Talamantez.

City Manager Drew Whitman confirmed to NewsChannel 7 that the city received a complaint regarding Talamantez, but provided no further details on the complaint itself.

Whitman confirmed in a phone call that an investigation is currently ongoing, and Talamantez has been put on administrative leave with pay.

Officials said he has not been removed from his position, and Deputy Chief Chad Lindsey is currently acting as police chief.

Chief Talamantez addressed the news on Monday evening on his personal Facebook page in a post reading “Everyone, deep breath in, pause, and now slowly exhale out. Be patient, have faith in the process and try not to get too worked up.”
