Madsummer was delivered in 2019. The exterior design of this 95 metre luxury yacht with its harmonious proportions by Ben Harrison and Peder Eidsgaard is absolutely timeless and yet ahead of its time. Among the special features are a large beach club and spa area with a sea terrace on the lower deck. The aft sea terrace is visually connected by a frosted walk-on skylight on the main deck. A second skylight features an integrated fireplace and promises many cozy and relaxing moments on the upper deck. All accommodation requirements are customised down to the last detail and incorporated in the interior design by the much-accomplished Studio Laura Sessa. With its sleek and sophisticated lines the style can best be described as contemporary modern featuring an elegant maritime colour scheme reminiscent of the harmony of the sea and beach.

The sun deck is home to the full-sized gym, which includes a kinesis machine and hidden television screens. An exterior staircase leads from the owner’s deck to the sun deck for the owner to enjoy their morning workout. A testament to the importance of this space is that the gym has been given the same design attention as the other guest areas.

The spa is a calming, quiet space, with intricate mosaic tiles and lacquered wood details. A sliding door reveals a well-stocked bar next to a circular daybed with views up into the frosted-glass skylight above. The most unusual element of the space is a huge circular shower complete with an ice bucket in the ceiling attached to a rope. Further forward is a beauty-and-hair salon, a massage room and a hammam and sun shower.

95m Lürssen superyacht Madsummer captured on maiden voyage

The 95 metre superyacht  Madsummer  has been captured on her maiden voyage on the French Riviera following her delivery earlier this month.

It comes after the  Lürssen  superyacht completed sea trials in the Baltic Sea and hit the water for the first time in March.

Sold in September 2016 by  Moran Yacht & Ship , this steel and aluminium yacht features exterior design by  Harrison Eidsgaard .  Laura Sessa Design  has been handed the interior design brief, which was previously described as "contemporary modern".

Speaking at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, Rob Moran revealed that Madsummer had been bought by an American client. "He has been a great client of ours for 15 years. We’ve built many boats for him before.”

At the same event, Moran also reported that the superyacht would have a 12 metre superyacht swimming pool , huge spa and big diving areas. Madsummer  is helicopter-ready, storing a helicopter on the bow, and capable of worldwide cruising. Accommodation is for up to 20 guests split across ten spacious suites.

Other key features include a  superyacht beach club  with a sea terrace, as well as a skylight in the upper deck aft that guests can walk across and an integrated fireplace.

Other large superyacht projects currently under development at the German yard include the 142 metre  Project Redwood , now known as Opus , which is scheduled for a 2020 delivery.

MADSUMMER Yacht – Phenomenal $250M Superyacht

MADSUMMER yacht was launched in 2019 and is currently the 64th largest superyacht in the world.

This yacht is not only huge in size, but it holds some incredible amenities that make sure every kind of guest is entertained.

The owner of the Madsummer Yacht wanted their yacht to be filled with many activities for the whole family to enjoy, especially water activities.

Madsummer focuses on having a contemporary design to greet guests with beautiful scenery both outside and inside the yacht. This incredible yacht was built by the acclaimed Lurssen. 

Specifications

With its massive size, it is no surprise that the Madsummer Yacht can hold up to 20 guests and 30 crew members, in its 10 staterooms.

It is powered by Caterpillar twin MTU engines and can cruise at 16 knots, but can reach speeds of 18 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles. This is achieved by the yacht’s 300,000-liter fuel tanks.

Madsummer Yacht also has anchor stabilizers to make for a much more comfortable ride for passengers – especially those who suffer from sea sickness. 

The shape and uniquely sharp lines of Madsummer were designed by Harrison Eidsgarrd. This modern styling was created to catch the eye of anyone passing by this wonderful vessel.

Each “floor” of the yacht has a gorgeous deck for passengers to enjoy the ultimate views of the ocean and horizon.

Its sleek and white exterior makes Madsummer stand out from the rest wherever it sails.

This is the really fun part of Madsummer. This superyacht is loaded with fun toys for any water lover to enjoy.

If you want to enjoy soaring over the ocean waves, try out Madsummer’s fly boards or jet skis, wakeboards, or Seabob.

The ship also includes fishing equipment and scuba diving equipment if you want to join the water fun in a more relaxing way. 

Every cabin has a different theme with its own color palettes, silk carpeting, and furniture. Wherever guests go in Madsummer will be a unique experience on its own.

For instance, the main saloon greets guests with bold white and blue stripes and an incredible Tai Ping silk carpet. 

When passengers go out to the sun deck, they will see an interesting site. The hardened deck is designed to hold an Aviat Husky, so a crane is hidden to move the aircraft between the ship and the water.

When the Aviat Husky is not on the deck, the large space is used as a dance floor for parties. A great multifunctional addition to this superyacht. 

Madsummer has only been sailing for a few years, but it has already blown away many yacht enthusiasts.

Its size is not the only reason it has become so famous, but it will be interesting to see how the Madsummer Yacht will continue to grow and change over time.

The walls and ceilings are accented with pale orange that highlight the heavier blues that color the interior deck space. A stylish elevator carries guests across four floors from the main deck to the sundeck, while a marvelous staircase with white leather steps surrounded by dark mutenye wood encircles the elevator.

To port, you’ll find a true conversation starter — a designer bespoke dining table for 14, with layers of color lacquer score often circular patterns revealing colors beneath.

A tasteful cinema room overlooks the bow, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and deep sofas that make this a perfect room for socializing day or night.

The upper deck salon includes a backlit bar and a Steinway and Sons grand piano — all whites accented by light blues to give the salon an airy feel. The upper aft-deck, meanwhile, contains an ethanol fire pit, with glass windbreakers in place to provide instant relief from the wind.

Cabin Amenities

Cabins are split between four identical doubles aft, with two twin cabins forward, each with their own unique color scheme. The double features a royal blue color scheme, accented by beige turquoise and red, while the twins enjoy deeper reds and navys.

Each cabin comes with a lacquered Sycamore wardrobe, silk carpets, custom lampshades, with stunning hand dyed mother-of-pearl surrounds on the bathroom mirrors and light Calacatta marble throughout each bathroom.

The two VIP cabins include stunning accent wood, laminated with bronze, that acts as a frame around the large windows, lending a feeling of artistic expression.

The VIP bathrooms include eye-catching Zebrino marble and bronze Armani marble, complemented by rose gold handles and taps.

The cabin walls are peppered with pictures of vintage seaplanes, adding a splash of nostalgia to the overall visual profile on display.

The Spectacular Sundeck

The sundeck aft is a massive exterior space that includes room for a Husky seaplane, and when anchored, the Husky can be lowered into the water, transforming the deck into a massive dance floor and party area.

To further highlight the party feel, a backlit ICE-glass bar dominates the design further back, while furthest forward on the deck is an observation nook with sun pads and a Jacuzzi under the mast.

The main deck features a 9-meter pool and Jacuzzi where the deck curls up to the sides of the pool, further demonstrating the superyacht’s sleek exterior lines. Forward on the main deck are two large formal dining tables as well as round sofas along with a custom-made bar.

The yacht can accommodate 29 crew members, personal chef teams, spa professionals and dive masters to ensure guests are able to enjoy every aspect of this exciting yacht. The foredeck is certified for helicopter operations and bunkering, as well, and a helicopter can also be stowed on the aft sundeck with ease.

Amazing Accommodations

Wherever you travel, the open water provides ample opportunities for aquatic sports and activities, and the Madsummer comes equipped with numerous toys – including snorkeling, scuba diving, paddleboarding, and kayaking equipment.

There are two tender garages, one forward and one aft. These house an 11-meter Maori Yacht limo tender, a Ski Nautique, a 10-meter rib and a rescue tender. There are also five PWCs, a range of skis and boards and a large selection of dive equipment. Yachters can explore underwater ecosystems, swim with marine life, and enjoy the thrill of various water-based sports.

Hitting the Caribbean

With such an incredible array of water toys designed for days spent exploring the ocean, Madsummer is a ship perfectly designed for anchorage in the Caribbean.

A Caribbean yacht charter allows voyagers to discover island after island of natural wonders, including lush rainforests, waterfalls, and volcanic landscapes. A new video shows Lurssen ’s 95m/312ft superyacht MADSUMMER being launched into the waters in Germany.

Known as ‘Project Fiji’ during her build, MADSUMMER was given an official name when was launched by Lurssen earlier this week.

Boasting four spacious deck and elegant exterior design from Harrison Eidsgaard, the superyacht’s mammoth volume and elongated profile can be admired in the video above.

Built for an experienced owner, the megaycht is packed with cutting-edge amenities. Among them, photos showcase the yacht’s sleek 12 metre pool on the main deck aft, as well her beach club area, which will feature a sea terrace and adjoining spa.

Her helipad is also visible on the bow, and initial reports suggest she will have her own hangar.

The superyacht boasts four spacious deck and elegant exterior design from Harrison Eidsgaard.

Laura Sessa have headed up the interiors of the motor yacht , and created a light and neutral ambience with plenty of natural light and glazing. She boasts accommodation for up to 20 across 10 generously-proportioned cabins

Upon delivery, MADSUMMER will rank in the top sixty in the World’s Top 100 Superyachts, sharing the spot with the Oceanco-built motor yacht NEOM .  Once delivered, she will join the 136m/446ft superyacht FLYING FOX , who was also delivered by Lurssen earlier this year. 

It is not currently known whether M/Y MADSUMMER will be available for private yacht charter .
