Safe Harbor Marina Bay Yacht Harbor has limited storage space for paddle craft and small, hand-launchable, non-motorized sailboats & dinghies under 16’ in length.

- Fresh water wash-down available (BYO hose).

510-Waterline
One of the best ways to explore the beauty of the San Francisco Bay is by paddleboard. At 510-Waterline, paddlers can join fun classes, go on guided tours, or take to the water for an afternoon of exploring. Beyond getting in a great workout, paddlers get to enjoy gorgeous views of the San Francisco skyline and a front row seat to one of our enchanting Bay sunsets. Conveniently located onsite at the marina, this experienced crew has everything you need to enjoy a day on the water with friends and family.
Lara’s Fine Dining
For elegant, Italian-inspired cuisine, stunning waterfront views, and a lovely historic dining room, head over to Lara’s Fine Dining, only a short distance from the marina. Enjoy a glass of vino from a stunning house selection before starting your meal with a round of fresh oysters or a delicious bruschetta. Lara’s has a fantastic selection of entrees, including specialty pizzas, pastas, seafood, steaks, chops, and chicken. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are recommended and can be made online.
Richmond Ferry
Conveniently located less than a mile from the marina, the Richmond Ferry Terminal offers daily trips to and from Downtown San Francisco. The ferry’s 35-minute route crosses the beautiful San Francisco Bay and serves as the perfect gateway for exploring the city’s legendary eats and attractions.
REI Kayak Classes
Offering a variety of guided tours for paddlers of all experience levels, REI’s coastal kayaking excursions are a fun and exhilarating way to get the whole family out on the water. On the Brooks Island Kayak Tour, paddlers will enjoy a leisurely tour that passes through the Richmond Marina, which is home to the Kaiser Shipyards and Rosie the Riveter National Historic Park. From there, you’ll enter the waters bordering the Brooks Island Regional Preserve, where you might catch a glimpse of leopard sharks, bat rays, and seals playing in the surrounding waters.
