The 30.8m/101ft luxury yacht GALENA (ex.MRS B) from Moonen is now cruising the  Western Mediterranean .

Motor yacht GALENA

Refitted in 2019, M/Y GALENA is in excellent condition with timeless interiors providing contemporary comforts and an abundance of light for entertaining through the day and into the evening hours. The main salon and formal dining area will be a social hub for the group to begin and end the day, with the formal dining table seating up to six guests for casual breakfasts or lavish celebratory meals.

The outdoor areas give guests the opportunity to spend as much time connected to the picturesque Western Mediterranean coast as possible, with alfresco dining options on the main deck aft and sundeck, and sunbathing options on the foredeck and bridge deck, where there is also an inviting Jacuzzi to lie back together with cocktails and admire the city lights of Cannes , Monaco or Naples after sundown.

There is a wonderful collection of water toys on board to enrich any experience in La Maddalena Archipelago or the remote beaches and bays of the Tuscan Archipelago down to the Aeolian Islands . 

There is also exercise equipment on board to keep up a fitness regime without setting foot into the water.

The space on board can host up to 35 guests for dockside events and a group of 12 while cruising. The overnight accommodation sleeps a maximum of 6-7 guests across 3 plush en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 1 twin cabin with a Pullman berth suitable for a child.

However many guests and visitors there are on board, the expert crew of 5 will ensure that every spectacular social event and laid-back afternoon is completely successful and stress-free.

Moonen Yachts, a Dutch boutique shipyard, is dedicated to delivering exclusive and exceptional superyachts in the 34 to 45-metre size range. With a focus on upholding the finest tradition of Dutch yacht building, Moonen Yachts ensures an exclusive ownership experience by delivering only two yachts per year. With over 40 years of expertise in yacht construction, they have established a reputation for building top-quality long-range yachts with steel hulls and aluminum superstructures. Having delivered over 80 yachts worldwide, including renowned classics like the Moonen 84 and Moonen 97, as well as the modern Moonen Martinique, their craftsmanship and attention to detail is widely recognized. Moonen Yachts' passion lies in delivering exceptional yachts, providing excellent support and ensuring every detail is of the highest quality. Acquired by yachting enthusiasts Matthew and Louise Baxter in 2019, the shipyard is backed with solid financial support and a commitment to impeccable deliveries and strong customer relationships.

Notable Moonen Superyachts

The shipyard’s many popular semi-custom series include the Moonen 84, 96 RPH and 124 Displacement, the Moonen 82, 94 and 99 Alu Fast Displacement, and the 114 and 130 Explorer yachts. The builder also has designed more models in different sizes for each of these lines.

A highly versatile shipyard, Moonen builds steel-hulled full-displacement yachts with steel hulls but also constructs its Fast Displacement yachts wholly in aluminium. With her litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5000 nautical miles economic cruising speed. Her water tanks carry litres of fresh water.
