Special birthday gift: I bought a Monaco Grand Prix package from the Senate as a special surprise birthday gift for my husband and son, and I am so glad I chose them. The experience was outstanding, and the staff were always quick to answer any queries I had beforehand. It certainly was the holiday of a lifetime, which they will never forget, and we would use them again. Thank you!

We just returned home from Monaco on a trip arranged by the Senate. The suites were perfect and just as advertised, and the service and food were amazing. Five-star service all the way!

Sam Siemon - 2019

We had the most amazing time at the Monaco Grand Prix. Every detail was taken care of, the boat was incredible, it wasn’t too crowded, and the service was impeccable. All topped off by Lewis Hamilton winning (which I’m guessing you didn’t sort 😊), the Senate Grand Prix were helpful regarding the booking itself—always kept in contact. And were friendly and efficient. Thanks again to Olivia and the team for one of the best experiences of our lives…truly unforgettable

Emma - 2019

I just wanted to send a quick thank you for helping us have a great and incredibly memorable weekend. Everything was perfect, especially the yacht crew's participation in renewing our wedding vows. Again, thank you for everything.

Dion - 2015

Awesome and Amazing! I cannot fault Senate Grand Prix—the experience and support are second to none. The team is exceptional, and nothing is too much trouble. We have used Senate for five years to go to the Monaco GP, and every year is amazing. It is totally worth experiencing the Monaco GP, and it is totally worth allowing Senate Grand Prix to make this happen for you. Thank you again for another amazing event.

A Day On Board Our Yacht At The Monaco Grand Prix

It’s a day of refined tranquil luxury watching some of the most exciting sporting action on the planet, a day to look forward to and remember forever.

If you want glamour, prestige and an unbeatable adrenalin rush, this has to be the best there is – watching the Monaco Grand Prix from a luxury yacht that’s close enough to the action you can virtually feel the whoosh of air as the cars race by at 140mph. You’ll certainly hear the boom of their awe-inspiring power!

Delicious food and drinks served on board complete the millionaire feel of this day. From local French wines to fresh juice and then there’s the amazing food… mouthwatering lobster, quality meats, a variety of excellent cheeses. You won’t want to ever leave the yacht.

Monaco Hospitality Packages at the Grand Prix

First raced in 1929, the Monaco Grand Prix is regarded as the most eminent and esteemed car race in the world. Taking place in May on the Circuit de Monaco, household names such as Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso will drive fast and hard in their Formula One (the highest class of single-seat auto racing) sleek machines.

All the racing-car action is on a slender course created around Monaco’s streets – that mean it’s a treacherous place to race. Only the very best high-speed drivers with their wits and skill fully about them can handle its many twists, turns and the famous tunnel.

trackside yachts

Rocket Hospitality’s yacht hospitality excitement starts at Fontvielle Harbour, the next bay from Monaco’s Port Hercules harbour. Keep an eye out here for famous Fontvielle residents such as former Wimbledon tennis champions Björn Borg and Boris Becker; and racing driver such as David Coulthard.

At 8.30am, you’ll make the 10-minute picturesque trip on a RIB lightweight high-performance boat to the harbour in Monaco where some of the most stunning yachts around are moored. A champagne breakfast greets guests to an amazing luxury yacht moored in a prime location in Monaco harbour (and with excellent views of the huge screens that show the build-up, entire race and celebrations afterwards).

Moored in two great locations, Rocket’s yachts view either the super-fast straight between Chicane du Port and Tabac, which is a tricky tight corner taken at about 120mph; or between Tabac and Piscine, a fast left-right section of the course.

There’s a complimentary bar throughout, delicious full gourmet lunch served on board, and friendly bilingual staff on hand to assist with anything to make the day go wonderfully. After the race has been won, at around 5pm it’s either time to return by the RIB boat to Fontvielle Harbour or get off the yacht to explore Monaco from there on foot.

It’s an easy enough place to get around. Neatly tucked away into less than a square mile, the world’s second-smallest country (after Vatican City) officially has a 38,500 population, but those numbers are greatly boosted by tourists who are drawn to Monaco’s splendour. It makes the nightlife absolutely fantastic and the streets are filled with happy party people.

Situated in the French Riviera, surrounded by a lovely landscape and facing into the tantalising turquoise Mediterranean Sea, Monaco enjoys a wonderfully warm climate (and for residents there’s also the attraction of paying no income tax!). Unsurprisingly there’s a fantastic choice of quality places to eat and a wide range of impressive architecture, including the well-known Monte Carlo Casino.

You could even have the chance of becoming one of those super-wealthy Monaco residents if you pay it a visit! Give it a go, you never know…

The Monaco Grand Prix holds an esteemed status as the pinnacle and most revered race within the illustrious “Triple Crown” of motorsports.

"Winning the Monaco Grand Prix is the highlight of any racing driver's career"

- Nico Rosbert

As Nico Rosberg once said, “Winning the Monaco Grand Prix is the highlight of any racing driver’s career”!

  • It is one of the most challenging tracks to drive because of its narrow streets, With its close barriers and unforgiving walls, the Monaco Grand Prix offers no room for mistakes. Even the slightest error in judgment or loss of concentration can result in a race-ending collision or damage to the car.
  •  Known as a street circuit, the tight, narrow layout winds through the streets of Monte Carlo, leaving no margin for error. The lack of runoff areas and minimal overtaking opportunities means drivers must take calculated risks, making split-second decisions as they navigate the tight corners, sharp hairpins, and elevation changes.

Must watch this video from Nico Rosberg (who is also a Monaco resident) and won this race three times, how he explains the challenges of the Monaco track!

  • Variable Weather Conditions: The unpredictable weather in Monaco can make the race even more challenging. A sudden downpour can turn the already demanding circuit into a treacherous obstacle course, testing the drivers’ ability to adapt to changing conditions on the fly. Rain can make the track slippery, reducing grip and increasing the likelihood of incidents. I must admit we are all secretly hoping for rain because that’s when the race gets more challenging and we get to see the most exciting drive moves! Although in the end.. all we want really are champagne showers!
  • The race consists of 78 laps and the average speed is 96 MPH!
  • Michael Shumacher still holds the record for the fastest lap time in Monaco in 2004 who finishes in 1:14:439 (seconds and miliseconds matter in this sport!)

watch monaco grand prix from a yacht

There are many ways of watching the race, you can watch it on the stands, in a hotel balcony, on a building terrace and of course the favorite one is to watch it onboard a superyacht!

Monaco residents or companies that have terraces with track views usually rent their terraces or organize hospitality themselves where they provide catering of food drinks and entertainment.

Hotels that have a track-side view also organize packages, although the view in most cases is not superb. You can also rent a room with a track view for example the best ones are at the Fairmont Hotel and also the Hotel de Paris. The advantage of the Fairmont is that you get free access to Nikki Beach, so if you plan to do pool parties this is your best bet!

I watched it once from Hermitage and even though the lunch was fun the view was quite limited.

The most common way is to watch it from the stands, although there are many and in different locations and if you are not familiar with Monaco, you can learn all about the grand stands and location here.

The paddock club is the most social option, located in the port and near the pits its an open area with many places to lounge, gourmet cuisine eat, open bars relax, meet the drivers and other VIP celebrities. Tickets for this type of hospitality is around 7,000 USD but you can get authographs from the drivers after the race is done!

Insider tip:

To book a table at a restaurant that has track view and that way you only spend on lunch (around 100-300 euros) instead of paying for extra tickets. Here is a list with all the restaurants in pole position. Restaurants like Quai des artistes have great packages of food entertainment and great track views.!

If you can’t attend the race, no worries you can also live stream it from the comfort of your home.

watch monaco grand prix from a yacht

The epitome of luxury and the ultimate viewing experience for the Monaco Grand Prix is undoubtedly from the deck of a yacht. However, renting a superyacht for the entire week comes with a hefty price tag of approximately 500,000 euros, not to mention the additional challenge of securing a berth at an extra cost. Actually securing the berth is one of the hardest things! We have been doing it for years, and yet every year is a gamble!

watch monaco grand prix from a yacht

But fear not! You can still indulge in the opulence and live the dream of watching the Monaco GP from a yacht without breaking the bank. Our exclusive hospitality packages start from just 600 euros per day, offering a fraction of the cost while delivering an extraordinary and super-luxurious experience. Moreover, the most glamorous parties and after-parties take place right in the port, onboard these magnificent vessels, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

To ensure seamless access to the yachts, it’s important to note that all access from the port is blocked. The best way to board is by tender, either from La Rascasse or, ideally, from the Port of Fontvieille. However, keep in mind that there may be some “tender traffic,” so it’s wise to plan ahead for a smooth transfer.

A friendly tip: Brace yourself for a bit of turbulence during tender transfers from yachts at anchor or when coming across from Port Fontvieille. Expect a touch of sea spray and perhaps some unruly hairstyles, but the exhilaration of the experience more than makes up for it.

Last minute Yacht Deals:

Boat option 1:.

35meter yacht we have THE BEST track view in the port (all other yachts would do anything to have our spot!) hospitality includes: tender pick up in Fontvieille, breakfast, lunch, aperitivo, tea -time, dinner, and evening party!

--> contact me for pricing.

50-meter yacht (a lot bigger) second-line view of the track and loads of entertainment for 2,500 euros.

A combination of race view on a huge terrace with panoramic views of the race followed by dinner and a party onboard a yacht on anchor for 2,000 euros!

The best place to buy tickets is officially through the Automobile Club of Monaco, which can be accessed by clicking   here .  Avoid getting scammed by resellers or unofficial agencies.

Budget tip: The Monaco Grand Prix’s Sector Rocher is one of the cheapest general admission areas in the world, with tickets going for €120 on race day and just over €300 for the whole weekend.

How to get free tickets:

Companies like Netjets invite their clients and rent huge roof top terraces and have incredible entertainment packages.

If you own a yacht (or planning to buy one) reach out to your favorite broker, most brokerage houses in Monaco have nice views!

If you are a member of the Yacht club (or have a friend who is) ask him to invite you to watch the race from there where you have the best harbor views! This year they are also hosting a free party on Saturday!

There are a lot of companies hosting and entertaining clients so if you are a good customer make sure to reach out, remember if you don’t ask you don’t get!

Pro tip: There are FREE autographs sessions by the drivers in the Live fan zone in place d’armes and best part is that no ticket is required!

Hotels in Monaco get booked really quickly and usually those dates are overpriced, We have a great option where you can stay onboard a yacht for a cheaper price than any hotels so contact us for more info!

Budget tip: the best is to stay in the surrounding towns like Menton, Cap D’ ail, or Nice.

 Getting there

The best way from Nice to Monaco and to ensure you arrive on style is for sure by helicopter, which takes only 7mins from nice and costs less than 200 euros.

Parking- If you are hoping on a tender to your superyacht, the best way is to park in Fontvieille, come in early there are big parking like in Carrefour supermarket. Another big parking in Fontvieille is the Stadium parking. Parking can be a nightmare in Monaco during the GP so plan an alternative (and pack flat shoes and be prepared to walk)

Taxis – somehow there are not enough taxis in Monaco during events like this so trying to get one is a nightmare, and sometimes they can even scammed you and treat you like a dumb tourist so be careful!

Train- coming by train has its charms as well. Train tickets are less than €10 for a return trip from Nice or Ventimiglia if booked in advance, although prices do rise for on-the-day bookings. The trip takes 20 minutes from Nice or 36 minutes from Ventimiglia, and each journey showcases one of the most stunning stretches of coastline the region has to offer.

What to bring, wear, and not-pack..

The weather is like in May.. it May be sunny but it May also rain.. so be prepared for both!

If you are seating on the stands, they are not covered so be prepared!

  •     Cash – most places take card, but you never know!
  •     Headphones
  •     Flat shoes
  •     Sunglasses
  •     Sunscreen
  •     Extra battery pack
  •     Rain jacket and/or umbrella

Do not bring strollers, scooters, scooter helmets, heavy backpacks, etc cause due to high security this won’t be allowed.

Shoes   First of all you don’t need shoes onboard a yacht so don’t overthink your outfit shoes! Bring a second pair of flat shoes just in case, because once the race is finished the streets are still closed and you may need to walk a lot! Over 21 km of safety railing and 20,000 sqm of catch fencing is set up, so be ready to walk a lot!

Parties and after-parties

If I’m honest, we are not all here following closely the race 🙂 mostly is about the vibe, the excitement in the air, the entertainment, and THE PARTIES!

Steps for the ideal Monaco experience:

Step 1: Watch the race

Step 2: Go for a nice dinner (Buddha bar, La Mome, Le Grill..)

Step 3: Party onboard a yacht

Step 4: Join the Dj Party

Step 5: Go to Sass Cafe

Step 6: Follow the after party

Monaco’s nightlife during the Grand Prix comes alive with vibrant energy, offering unforgettable experiences at renowned nightclubs like Amber Lounge, Sunset, Jimmy’z, and Twiga.

Arguably the most fun party in Monaco! Best way to arrive is by tender of course (but make sure you bring cash!) it’s a BEACH party so no heels! Arrive early cause sunset as the name implies is the most fun! It’s a great place to meet people (and no so loud like other clubs) but the music is more chill loungy and not a real dance club.

The most famous nightclub in Monaco is Jimmy’z , its literally a legend! Super glam and its iconic dance floor could tell many stories! Here is where the best DJs play and has the best high energy atmosphere. Also its super hard to get in so either come in super early or book long in advance.

 Amber Lounge

Some call it the ultimate party destination during the Monaco Grand Prix, Amber Lounge the party where celebrities and F1 drivers go. With its glamorous ambiance, live performances by international artists, and a buzzing atmosphere, it offers an exclusive VIP experience where you get a chance to rub shoulders with the who’s who of the racing world! Tables start around 30K and its usually sold out so make sure you book in advance.

Flabios Briatore’s restaurant (near Cipriani) has the best of Italian cuisine, exotic cocktails, and an electrifying club scene where you can both eath there and then party! The ambiance and décor are very unique so is a must-visit if you want a sophisticated nightlife experience.

OK Ciao Bye

The coolest yachts in town for the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix

Every year, Monaco’s Grand Prix pulls in some of the fleet’s finest superyachts for a weekend of adrenaline-fuelled F1 action and A-lister events in the heart of the principality. Yachts moored stern to the circuit have a premium vantage point over the cars tearing around the track, while superyachts at anchor can enjoy all the Formula One buzz with the added benefit of privacy and seclusion. These are all the yachts to look out for at the 2023 event…

Phoenix 2 | 90m

Designed to fulfill a brief for an entertainment-led layout, Phoenix 2 is the ideal candidate for hosting guests during the Monaco Grand Prix. She has a good balance of cosy interior areas and open al fresco socialising spaces, including an enclosed winter garden that can host up to 120 guests. The 90-metre Lürssen is located in the Monaco anchorage close to the entrance of the port, and yacht-spotters can look out for her distinctive 5.4-metre phoenix figurehead on the bow.

Titiana | 73m

Charter machine Titania has secured a coveted trackside berth for the event, giving her guests the ultimate view over the cars roaring through Monaco. The main deck aft will be popular for guests looking for a shaded spot, while the sundeck has plenty of seating options, plus a 4.5-metre pool with a swim-up bar. Anyone seeking a respite from the Formula One will find plenty of interior spaces to enjoy, including an expansive main saloon and skylounge with drop-down cinema screen.

Lady Jorgia | 115m

Marking the largest yacht sale of 2023 so far, the iconic 115.1-metre Lürssen is making her first high-profile appearance as Lady Jorgia . The ex- Ahpo has an exterior by Nuvolari Lenard which is defined by sugar-scoop windows and large segments of black along the top of the superstructure. The design is said to be influenced by Ferraris, making her right at home in the Monaco anchorage.

Octopus | 126m

Octopus is fresh from a charter trip around Antarctica, and while her amenities list may make her better-suited to exploration, she is still a welcome addition to Port Hercules. The 126.2-metre yacht has an exterior by Espen Øino , with interiors by Monk Design and Jonathan Quinn Barnett .   Octopus is home to seven tenders, a glass-bottomed underwater observation lounge, smoothie bar and a basketball court.

Aalto | 80m

Formerly known as Amevi , the 80-metre Oceanco giant Aalto is berthed in the centre of Port Hercule to catch the Grand Prix. The yacht has a recognisable Nuvolari Lenard exterior and interiors by the late Alberto Pinto , with an interior volume of 2310GT that’s sure to provide plenty of spaces to watch the races from indoors. The yacht was rechristened in July 2022 and her name now means “wave” in Finnish.

Joy Me | 50m

Joy Me , usually berthed in Cap d’Ail, is making an appearance in Port Hercules for the Grand Prix. She’ll be one of the most recognisable yachts at the event, with her custom red and white exterior and unusual eye motif — said to be the eyes of the commissioning owner’s daughter. The Croatian-built yacht 49.9-metre has masses of exterior areas for guests to make the most of, as well as a fun interior with plenty of modern artwork.

Lammouche | 44m

Fresh from her groundbreaking trials of a new type of biofuel, 44-metre Lammouche is a 2010 Sanlorenzo with a charter-orientated configuration. Highlights include a spacious sundeck bordered by glass bulwarks for uncompromising views over Monte Carlo.

Resilience | 65.5m

Resilience has been an active cruiser since her launch in 2021, showing up on the scene for the New Year’s Eve festivities in St Barths and now arriving on the scene for the Monaco Grand Prix. The 65.5-metre ISA yacht has a sporty design from Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design , and the Italian studio has worked to create a modern, yet comfortable interior with accommodation for a total of 14 guests.

Instagram's favourite charter yacht Loon is also part of the line-up of yachts attending the Grand Prix, berthed inside the port within easy distance of all the action. The 54.5-metre Newcastle Marine is usually found cruising the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean and putting her mammoth treasure chest of toys to good use, but she's now based across the pond. Her big sister, the recently-purchased Icon yacht Loon , is just up the coast in Marseille.

Cloud 9 | 89m

Cloud 9 marked one of the largest yacht sales of 2022 and she made her first public appearance under her new name at last year's Monaco Grand Prix. When she was known as Infinity , the Oceanco build was notoriously private – now it seems she’s spending a little more time in the limelight. She is listed for charter with Burgess and comes complete with expansive lounging spaces, a decadent beauty saloon and a main deck pool that measures almost 18 metres squared.

Lionheart | 90m

In 2016, Lionheart was launched by Benetti as the Italian shipyard’s new flagship and is the owner's third Benetti to bear the same name. The 90-metre motor yacht is no stranger to Monte Carlo, spending most of her time cruising the French and Italian Riviera from her home base in Port Hercules. Lionheart is currently berthed at the end of Quai Rainier.

Monaco Grand Prix ⋅ Where to Watch

Plan your monaco grand prix.

Monte-Carlo

  • grandstands

Although Monaco doesn’t always give us the best races, being there to see F1 cars speed through narrow streets with millimetre-perfect precision remains one of the ultimate spectator experiences. For a street circuit, there are surprisingly good, varied views from the grandstands and the closeness of the track creates intimacy amid the grandeur of Monaco.

Popular grandstands sell out fast. Buy Monaco GP tickets from one of these official retailers.

I get a small commission which helps to keep the lights on. The best part is, it doesn’t cost you any extra :)

The Best Grandstands at Monaco

Monaco tribunes (grandstands) can be bought as one day tickets. At a track where some grandstands are better suited for the practice, qualifying or the race this lets you plan your viewing down to the day as well as get a varied viewing experience of the famous street circuit.

The Main Straight: Grandstand X1 and X2

Grandstands beside the grid get a close up window on the most exciting grid of the F1 season. Great for celeb spotting and fascinating to watch teams and drivers prepare for one of the sport’s most anticipated events. If that gets your pistons firing then these seats might be for you.

Be aware though that once proceedings get under way these seats are less grandstand, more ‘blandstand’ and you might start to think about catching an early train. The pits are on the opposite side of the pit building at Monaco and the podium is on the same side of the track, further down.

Your view during the race doesn’t get much more exciting than some very fast, very blurry looking cars driving past you in a straight line (through a wire fence).

Sainte Devote: Grandstand A1

monaco-a1-rear

Named after the nearby church, Sainte Devote is a tricky uphill right-hander. It’s been smoothed out a bit from what it was but it still presents a challenge to drivers. Coming before the winding, flat out run up the hill to Massenet, the corner is crucial to achieving the perfect lap time.

After the main straight overtaking is always a possibility here, as well as the potential for mayhem on lap one. A young rookie called Aryton Senna impressively passed Niki Lauda here for 2nd place in the 1984 rain affected race. In 2015 another young rookie, Max Verstappen misjudged a pass, damaging his car and careening into the tecpro barriers.

This is a single corner view but a classic one. A low fence makes visibility good, especially at the corner’s apex. For fans lucky enough to secure top row seats, views of Tabac and the harbourfront are an added bonus.

Casino Square: Grandstand B

Across the square from Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Cafe de Paris to your left, perhaps no other view feels as quintessentially Monaco as that from Grandstand B.

Exiting Massenet hugging the inside barrier, a lightening fast change of direction sees the cars fling to the inside line, hurtling around Casino Square inches from the barrier.

There’s only one line through here so this is not an overtaking spot, but it is a pleasure to watch drivers work the wheel through this fast left-right section.

Front row seats offer premium views allowing spectators to see down the hill to Mirabeau, where overtakes do occasionally happen.

grandstand b view monaco

Seats in Grandstand B are comfortable molded plastic – a step above the flat bleacher style seats that predominate elsewhere. Because of the very low fence, for the most part it’s not a problem getting a clear view of the track, even in the lower rows which makes it a prime spot for photographs.

Downsides are very few. It is one of only two grandstands on this side of the train station so you’ll find a lot more of the merchandise, food and drinks options, as well as the F1 Fanzone centred around the other side of town, some 15 – 20 minutes walk away. On the plus side, you’ll be in pole position for a gin and tonic at the Cafe de Paris after a long hot day in the grandstand.

Portier: Grandstand C

watch monaco grand prix from a yacht

From Grandstand C you can see Portier and the preceding corner before the cars disappear into the darkness of the tunnel.

Overtaking is not unheard of though it often relies of the car behind having a major performance advantage and some degree of compliance from the car in front.

Nico Hulkenberg showed us how it’s done, pulling off a move on Magnussen in 2014. Jenson Button meanwhile showed us how not to do it in his last race in Formula 1, impolitely flipping Werlein out of the way leaving his Sauber awkwardly resting on it’s side.

And sometimes even the greatest drivers go off here all by themselves. The outside of Portier is the spot where Senna made terminal contact with the barrier while dominating the 1988 race. Famously, he was so furious with himself that he walked straight back to his nearby apartment

This small intimate grandstand lacks the atmosphere and true Monaco feel that characterize grandstands in other parts of the track. This will suit some fans though who might prefer a less crowded environment.

Nearby the Japanese Gardens offer an oasis of peace and tranquility to enjoy during the downtime, as well as permanent toilet facilities and a water fountain to refill drinks bottles.

Harbour Front: Grandstand K

Grandstand K is a long stand facing the habour that stretches from K1, near Tabac to K6 near the chicane that signals the start of the swimming pool section.

From anywhere in the upper part of the grandstand there’s a vast expanse of visible track, especially for a street circuit. If you want a grandstand that really lets you savour the action rather than a blink and you miss it glimpse then the K Tribune is one of the very best at Monaco.

tribune k view

© The F1 Spectator

The harbourfront in Monaco is perhaps the most recognizable section of any Grand Prix circuit. In the early days nothing separated the competitors from the sea and in the 1950 race, waves even crashed onto the track causing a chaotic scene.

Later on, straw bales were used as a barrier which, perhaps not surprisingly failed to prevent Alberto Ascari’s Lancia from launching into the sea in the 1955 GP.

Exiting the tunnel the cars reach the fastest part of the track, just before braking for the Nouvelle Chicane – one of the circuit’s best overtaking spots.

A bump on the approach to the chicane has caught out many, resulting in some spectacular incidents over the years. After accelerating around the fast, left-hand kink of Tabac drivers reach La Picine.

grandstand k monaco

Besides a very distant view of the Nouvelle Chicane visible only from some blocks There’s rarely overtaking attempts along this section of the circuit. Nevertheless, the fast, narrow section sees plenty of incident and the quick flick left of Tabac is a favourite spot for Monaco regulars.

Being seated here is an auditory experience as much as a visual one. Standing in the middle of the circuit, the main straight to your rear and the climb towards Casino Square to your left, this is the surround sound experience of Monaco.

The view you get can differ quite a bit depending on which block you’re in from K1 to K6. None of the sections are really bad but each comes with their own pros and cons

For spectators in K1 a clear view extends from Tabac to the exit of the Nouvelle Chicane. This is the closest it’s possible to get to Tabac but understandably far from the first chicane of La Picine. Although this is the closest section to the giant screen, it’s positioning up and to the left at a bit of an oblique angle is not ideal, but by no means a deal breaker.

K3, at the midpoint of the grandstand, fans are in a prime spot to see both the exit of Tabac and entrance to the swimming pool section. It’s also the best place for an overall view of the entire harbour section. Lower seats are best avoided here though as you’ll have a hard time seeing either corner through the fencing.

Further around, the screen might be further away but the positioning is ideal, situated just above where the cars come into view you can seamlessly go from watching the action unfold on the screen to watching in the flesh without needing to turn your head. All of this is quite far away though so it’s worth bringing a pair of binoculars.

Block K6 has a clear view of the apex of the fast entrance to La Picine. This is a great spot for photographing the cars as they bounce over the curbs on entry. It’s a less good view of the harbour overall though and Tabac is out of sight, tucked away behind a melange of armco, catch-fencing and a few million quids worth of yacht.

Back rows of the K Grandstand are premium seats and besides being higher up and slightly more comfortable, come with a hidden bonus.

Peering between the trees to the rear of the grandstand it’s also possible to see parts of the main straight. The corner of K6 is especially coveted, overlooking the start / finish line, pole position spot, the royal box and the pitlane exit.

Because of the trees that line the length of the main straight and can get in the way, having a view to the rear of the stand isn’t a sure thing and you probably won’t see it advertised. For the few lucky fans who do benefit though, these are a dream ticket.

Track views aside, the setting of the K Tribune is second to none making an already special grandstand all the better. When you’re not being dazzled by the sight of F1 cars you can be dazzled by the towering facade of the Monte Carlo skyline and the sun dappled waters of the Mediterranean. Pass the time between track action people watching or thinking about which super yacht to buy next.

Swimming Pool section and the Pit lane: Grandstand N, O, P, L and T

On a track that’s changed little since it first hosted F1, some of the most notable changes have been on the section between La Picine and Rascasse.

The starting grid was placed here until 1963; ten years later the two chicanes that make up the swimming pool section were added on land reclaimed from the sea, making room for a new pit complex.

The tricky second chicane has been the scene of many accidents. Demanding perfect precision, sausage curbs lay in wait to launch cars that go off line, with sometimes disastrous consequences.

No need to remind Max Verstappen of this. The Dutch man made a habit of wrecking his Red Bull here in 2017 and 2018. In the race, slow exit speed can give the car behind a chance to pounce or line up a pass into Rascasse. Grandstands N, O, P, L and part of T are ideally placed for views of the swimming pool section.

Further changes to the pit area in 2004 placed the pit lane on the opposite side of the teams garages where it remains today. This lets spectators in grandstand T and L keep a close eye on goings on in the pit lane. A very close eye in fact – not including Paddock Club, these seats are the closest it’s possible to get to the pit lane from any grandstand at an Formula One track.

At the Monaco Grand Prix where overtaking is so difficult, pit strategy is everything and many of the key moments of the race take place in the pit lane.

Just ask Daniel Ricciardo. In 2016 a mix up meant his pit crew had no tyres ready for him when he boxed from the lead of the Grand Prix. Losing valuable seconds as the team scrambled around, the team’s mistake handed a certain victory to Lewis Hamilton.

With so much riding on pulling off the perfect pit strategy at Monaco, Grandstands L and T are an obvious choice for Sunday.

Grandstand O

monaco-grandstand o

Grandstand O is a large tribune between the smaller N and P tribunes. While the track views are only average, the great atmosphere from so many fans in one area go some way to make up for that and the layered skyline of Monte Carlo makes for an impressive backdrop and some Instagram worthy photos.

From here you’ll have the best view in the house of the first and second chicanes of La Picine. Lower seats fair less well but the extra height afforded to the upper rows makes up for this grandstand being one of the furthest from the race track.

The giant screen opposite is well placed and easy to see wherever your seat is, but do bring a pair of binoculars for the distant view of the pits.

Grandstand N & P

monaco-n-left

Sandwiching the relatively giant Tribune O, two fun-sized grandstands offer lower priced alternatives at the swimming pool section. Grandstand N overlooking the first chicane and P, the second.

Each feature good views of their respective corners, but distance and fencing make seeing any other part of the track difficult.

Of the two, P is the better option for what is usually a more exciting second chicane as well as a far off view of the pits.

Grandstand L

Grandstand L is justifiably one of the most popular Monaco grandstands. The fast left-right chicane precedes a short straight where a brief squirt of the throttle propels the cars towards the un-sighted Rascasse. It’s thrilling to watch the cars bounce over the curb on exit – masterful when it goes right and punishing when it doesn’t.

grandstand L view

There’s no catch fencing blocking the view of the track here so lower rows fair quite well. Seeing into the pits is easier from slightly higher up though and top rows are fitted with more comfortable seats. Crucially though, not just some (looking at you T1), but all fans have a clear view of the chicane.

Annoyingly a footbridge blocks part of the view of the pitlane and it can be a bit of a lottery which seat you end up in, but everyone should be able to see at least some of the pit stops. Naturally if seeing the pits is a top priority for you, Grandstand T is the better choice.

Grandstand T

monaco-t-left-1

There are three sections of Tribune T; starting with T1, nearest the swimming pool and ending with the small T3 block, close to the penultimate Rascasse corner.

As is the case at most circuits, the teams garages are in the order of the previous seasons constructors championship with the top teams closest to the pit entry, opposite T3.

Seats used to be sold as premium upper or regular lower sections with comfier, individual seats and a clear view of the pits available to the former and bleacher style seats and not much of a view for the latter.

Recent changes made to the pit area make it easier for all levels of the grandstand to have a clear view of the pit lane (though comfort level inequalities persist).

There aren’t many grandstands at Monaco that let you shelter from the rain, but Grandstand T is one such place. Only the top five rows are covered though and in heavy rain you could still get wet, especially if you’re seated on the edge.

Section T1 is a large seating area with over 1500 seats. But if you book early and are lucky enough to find yourself close to the right side end of the stand you’re in a prime position for see cars thread their way through the chicane.

From upper seats you can have a good view of the approach as the cars skirt their way past the swimming pool. Lower seats are just as popular and get you very close to the track, a gap in the fence providing a good photo opportunity as the cars pass the second apex.

The T2 section is too far away from either the chicane or the Rascasse and the track view isn’t the most impressive. There is a view of the pit lane entrance and it will get you closer to the top team garages than T1, but generally of the three it’s the one to avoid.

Cozy T3 is a much smaller section than T1 and T2. From here you’ll get to see cars slowing down for the tight Rascasse corner – an occasional site for late braking dive bombs. Pit lane views are of the top teams garages, near the pit lane entry.

Always a favourite Monaco vantage point Grandstand T is simply the best vantage point for watching the goings on in the pit lane wherever you’re seated, but for a lucky few fans the grandstand offers so much more.

Warning: beware of the unevenly spaced steps in this grandstand.

Rascasse & Anthony Noghes: Grandstand V

The view from Grandstand V encompasses the final two corners of the circuit – Rascasse and Anthony Noghes. Some spectators will have difficulty getting a clear view of the former though, especially from the upper right section where a leafy tree branch makes a bit of a nuisance of itself.

Between the corners is the pitlane entrance, though none of the actual team garages or pitstops are visible. Peering up the main straight on race day you’ll see the tail end of the grid.

Grandstand V comes with an extra bonus for fans on a Saturday; in recent years this has been the spot where the top three qualifiers park up and are interviewed after the session.

This is one of the most action-packed sections of track, seeing passing moves into either corner and determined efforts to stay nose to tail with the car in front to stand the best possible chance of making a move on the main straight.

Not all overtaking moves go to plan however. This is a tight sequence of corners and millimetres stand between pulling off the perfect move and looking like a hero or wrecking your car and looking a bit silly.

Case in point – Jules Bianchi pulled of a masterful pass on Kobayashi for one valuable point for Manor in 2014; five years later his Godson Leclerc made contact with the inside amrco barrier, damaging his floor and ending his first Monaco GP for Ferrari here.

Your participation through bidding, purchase and/or registration constitutes acknowledgement and agreement to be contractually bound by these terms and conditions, including agreement to pay the buyer’s premium, and all other fees and charges listed herein.

A buyer’s premium is the additional charge on the auction hammer price or winning bid, which is paid by the winner. Buyer’s premiums on Charitybuzz currently range from 15%–20%, based on the final hammer price of the auction lot as follows:

20% up to $50,000 15% above $50,000

Charitybuzz reserves the right to change these calculations at any time.

Prospective bidders should inspect the lot page for an item before bidding to determine its condition, size, and whether or not it has been repaired or restored. If that information is not available on the site, prospective bidders assume the responsibility of contacting Charitybuzz to inquire for additional details.

Each Bidder’s decision to bid and determination of their bid amount should be based upon their own examination of the item(s) in question. In any purchase or sale, the estimated value of the item(s) is reflected by the price. The bidder hereby assumes all risks of valuation concerning any and all purchases.

We reserve the right to withdraw any lot before, during and after the sale and shall have no liability whatsoever for such a withdrawal.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with all faults without any representations or warranties by us or the Seller as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, the correctness of the e-catalogue or other description of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, important, medium, frame, provenance, exhibitions, literature, or historical relevance. No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, whether made in on Charitybuzz.com, an advertisement, a lot receipt, or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. We and the Seller make no representations and warranties, express or implied, as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights, including but not limited to, any reproduction rights in any property.

We and the Seller are not responsible for errors and omissions on Charitybuzz.com, glossary, or any supplemental material. Charitybuzz will not be responsible or liable for damage to frames and glass coverings, regardless of the cause. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

A. Entering Bids

To bid, find a lot page, enter a value in the bid box, and click “Bid.” If you click “Bid” on a lot, you will be prompted to either log in to your Charitybuzz account, or create a new one if you do not have one already.

Once you’ve created an account you will be presented with the lot details, conditions of sale, and standard shipping and redemption details. Once you have accepted the Conditions of Sale, you may proceed with placing a bid on that lot. All bids placed for any lot are governed by the Conditions of Sale for that lot.

You may bid at or above the starting bid displayed as the “Current Price” in a lot page’s bid box. The current leading bid, along with a list of a lot’s full bidding history, will be visible to other users. If the status of your bid changes, you will receive notifications via email and push (if you have the Charitybuzz App installed).

B. Cancellation Rights

As soon you place and confirm your bid amount, your bid is submitted. You accept and agree that bids submitted by you are final. Charitybuzz is not responsible or liable for any problems, delays, or other issues resulting from the use of the Internet, including but not limited to transmission, execution, or processing of Bids.

Charitybuzz nor the Seller is responsible for any errors in bidding. A bidder should make certain to bid on the correct lot. The Bidder should make sure the bid price they enter (including any taxes or fees) is the price they are willing and able to pay. Once the hammer has fallen and Charitybuzz has announced the winning Bidder, that Bidder is unconditionally bound to pay for that lot, even if the Bidder has made an error.

A bid(s) entered by mistake on the part of a bidder is NOT grounds for cancellation of that bid. Each bidder is responsible for his or her own account and bids. In addition, allowing access to another who enters a bid without your knowledge is NOT grounds for cancellation of a bid.

C. Fraudulent Bidding

All Bidders must meet Charitybuzz’s qualifications to bid. Any Bidder who is not a client in good standing of Charitybuzz may be disqualified at Charitybuzz’s sole discretion and will not be awarded lots. Such determination may be made by Charitybuzz in its sole discretion, at any time prior to, during, or even after the close of the Auction. Charitybuzz reserves the right to exclude any person from the auction.

Bids will not be accepted from minor persons under eighteen (18) years of age without a parent’s written consent containing an acknowledgement of the conditions herein and indicating their agreement to be bound thereby on behalf of the bidder.

If an entity places a bid, then the person executing the bid on behalf of the entity agrees to personally guarantee payment for any successful bid.

Any bidder that represents a purchaser is personally and individually responsible for any obligations of the purchaser set forth in these terms and conditions. All purchasers purchasing pursuant to a valid resale license will need to provide appropriate documentation for removal of state sales tax.

D. Winning & Disputes

The successful bidder is the highest bidder acknowledged by Charitybuzz. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on Charitybuzz’s part as to the validity of any bid, Charitybuzz will have final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the lot in question. If any dispute arises after the sale, Charitybuzz’s sale record is conclusive. While Charitybuzz makes every effort to guarantee accuracy, in the event of an error, and a lot is accidentally declared sold by mistake, Charitybuzz reserves the right to cancel the sale and relist the lot in its sole discretion.

By accepting the Conditions of Sale, Bidder personally and unconditionally guarantees payment.

Title to any lot remains with the Seller, any secured party of the Seller, or assignee of Seller, as the case may be, until the lot is paid for in full by the Bidder. Charitybuzz reserves the right to require payment in full before delivering any lot to the successful bidder.

A maximum bid is a secret amount you enter, that represents the maximum amount you are willing to bid. It is higher than the current price and also higher than the next allowable minimum bid amount. If you enter a maximum bid, we’ll bid on your behalf up to that maximum bid amount in response to other bids, according to Charitybuzz’s bidding tiers.

The value and status of your maximum bid will be visible only to you, unless it is the leading bid.

Charitybuzz strongly encourages the use of Max Bids to increase your chances of winning.

When an auction reaches the final 10 minutes before it closes, any bids received in that final 10 minutes push out the previous close time by an additional 10 minutes. This recurring 10 minute extension is known as “Extended Bidding,” and is signified by a banner above the auction timer on the lot page.

This dynamically extending period is designed to protect against a practice commonly known as “sniping” or “last second bidding” where bidders attempt to enter a quick bid in the final seconds of an auction to secure a win before competing bidders have a chance to counter.

Live bids lots are a special type of auction lot on Charitybuzz. Live bid lots on Charitybuzz are paired with a real world, physical auction, where that real world auction is often scheduled to occur at a later date. You can distinguish Live Bid lots by the “Live Bid” label in the title of the lot, and additional description text at the start of the lots “Overview” tab.

In a Live Bid lot on Charitybuzz, a lot is created that is similar to any other auction lot on the site. These special lots last for similar amounts of time and bidding occurs normally by our users.

Things start to differ after a Charitybuzz Live Bid lot closes. After it closes and the winning bidder is chosen, that winning bidder’s bid amount or (if it exists) the max bid amount associated with that winning bid, are taken and entered into the associated real world auction. For example, if a bidder on Charitybuzz wins at $12,000 with an unrealized max bid of $15,000, then that $15,000 dollar amount is passed on into the real world auction.

Before the winning bidders bid or max bid amount is passed on, someone from Charitybuzz contacts that winner after the Charitybuzz lot closes and before the real world auction opens. This is to confirm if the bidder would like to increase their bid or max bid amount before it’s entered into the real world auction.

What happens during the real world auction? Each individual one may vary. Charitybuzz does not own or operate any real world auctions, nor does Charitybuzz require any partners to follow a specific auction model. We make no claims to the consistency of real world auction experiences and encourage bidders to contact us for more details as needed.

In our experience, real world auctions tied to Charitybuzz Live Bid lots are typically executed by our partners in a few common ways.

In one scenario, if an auction house and an auctioneer is present, winning live bids from Charitybuzz Live Bid lots are treated as “absentee” bids. This normally means that the Charitybuzz winning bid is placed in the auctioneers books as a bid. As the auctioneer conducts the auction, they will bring up and enter the Charitybuzz winning bid during the course of the auction as the current price or next minimum bid value approaches the Charitybuzz winner’s bid amount. In this scenario, other people in the real world room are expected to bid against the auctioneer, not the Charitybuzz winning bidder. If no one is bidding in the room, the auctioneer will typically keep bidding up the price until the Charitybuzz Live Bid winner wins the real world auction.

In other models, an audience member (including, but not limited to a charity partner employee) might act as a proxy for the winning Charitybuzz bidder. They will usually bid on behalf of the winning Charitybuzz Live Bid winner during the normal course of that auction, using whatever means provided for that auction house (i.e. paddles, etc.)

After the auction is completed, someone from Charitybuzz contacts our bidder to let them know the outcome. If that Charitybuzz Live Bid bidder has won, payment occurs as usual. If that Charitybuzz Live Bid bidder did not win, they will be notified accordingly.

A reserve bid is a bid placed by Charitybuzz on behalf of the seller up to the minimum reserve (if applicable). Bids placed by Charitybuzz on behalf of the seller up to the amount of the reserve, will be counted toward the total bid count displayed on the lot page’s bid box.

Refunds are rewarded on a case by case basis and at the sole discretion of Charitybuzz, LLC.

Experiences auctioned on Charitybuzz.com go through a specific redemption process to coordinate details and complete. That process normally involves messaging and scheduling between all parties (i.e. winners, charities, sellers, venues). Details discussed include but are not limited to experience dates, arrival procedures, airfare, hotel accommodations, restrictions, will-call requirements, and any other on-site notes. Scheduling requires an initial request sent by the customer, and a followup confirmation submitted by relevant redemption contacts.

By using Charitybuzz to bid and win lots, bidders agree to use the Redemption Center exclusively (where enabled) to message and schedule all experiences – doing so is a requirement of redeeming experiences through Charitybuzz. In addition, bidders agree that they are bound by all site terms of use and auction conditions of sale.

The minimum processing and handling charge for this item is $9.95.

Getting your item - Items will either be shipped directly from Charitybuzz or from the item seller (Third Party) as indicated. Items shipping from Charitybuzz will be sent within five business days of payment settlement by the winning bidder. All third party items will be shipped within the times indicated on the lot page. Winning bidders should ensure the desired shipping address is provided to Charitybuzz within 24 hours after payment settlement. Charitybuzz will default to the shipping address listed on the winning bidder’s account unless otherwise notified. Please see FAQs for more information.

Items that require signature - Items with a sale price of $1,000 and above are typically shipped with signature required.

Tickets & Certificates - For hard copies of tickets and certificates, the minimum shipping, handling, and applicable insurance charge is $14.95. Tickets, certificates, and vouchers, unless otherwise specified, will be shipped via professional carrier with standard ground service. In some cases, tickets will be left at the venue's "Will Call" window under the winner's name. Merchandise is insured for the winning amount.

Merchandise - The minimum shipping charge for merchandise is $19.95. (Shipments outside the U.S. are subject to additional shipping and customs fees.) Merchandise, unless otherwise specified, will be shipped via professional carrier with standard ground service. Oversized items may require special delivery arrangements, which Charitybuzz will coordinate between the winning bidder and the selected freight carrier. All merchandise is insured for the winning amount.

Will Call Pickups - In some cases, tickets will be left at the venue’s “Will Call” window under the winner’s name. Winning bidders may be required to submit the names of attendees up to several weeks ahead of the event. A valid photo ID for each person listed at Will Call is often required. When available, Charitybuzz will attempt to provide an onsite point of contact, but makes no guarantee that this information will be available for any given lot. Will Call tickets are typically available at the Will Call window at least an hour before the event, unless otherwise specified. The Will Call window is usually located near the venue's main entrance.

After winning - Detailed redemption information will be emailed to the winning bidder. Redemption contact information will be emailed to the winning bidder within two business days of payment settlement by the winning bidder. The redemption contact will work with the winning bidder to fulfill the lot within the appearance times, time constraints, event dates or locations, and other particulars listed in the lot details.

Does your experience require tickets? - Tickets for experiences are shipped to the winner. Please see “How Shipping Works ” above for shipping details for tickets.

Scheduling your experience - Specifics vary per lot. Most experiences found on Charitybuzz are scheduled through our new Redemption Center, allowing you one-stop access to scheduling and communication tools to redeem your experience. Get started today: Create a Redemption Center account. Scheduling for lots outside of the Redemption Center will occur via the preferred communication method of the redemption contact (email or phone), as indicated by the redemption email sent within 48 hours of payment settlement by the winning bidder.

Getting to the experience - Specifics vary per lot. Details will be included for those lots with travel segments included. Experiences with travel often involve… (i.e. prebooked flight, .) Coordinate with your redemption contact directly. If you are a VIP member with Charitybuzz, contact your rep for more information.

During the experience - Specifics vary per lot. Work with your redemption contact to define the details before departing.

After the experience - Specifics vary per lot. All done with your experience? Let us know how it went.

Processing - The minimum processing fee for experiences is $9.95, unless otherwise excluded. For example, lots that include a buyer’s premium do not have this minimum processing fee of $9.95.

To experience a luxury yacht charter  at the legendary Monaco Grand Prix, is to have memories that will truly last a lifetime. Securing a highly sought-after trackside berth in the adjacent Port Hercules, charter guests feel the vibrations and electrifying atmosphere of the world's best racing drivers hurtling past the marina on the iconic street-style circuit.

Grand Prix yacht charters and Circuit de Monaco

A testing 77-lap race, packed with intrinsic chicanes and hairpins, Circuit de Monaco has been in action since 1929 and has been used by all the racing greats. It is widely recognized as one of the most important and respected automobile races in the world, and is also used for the Monaco E-Prix and the bi-annual Monaco Historic Grand Prix .

Defined by its many elevation changes and tight corners, the Circuit de Monaco is laid out across the narrow streets of Monte-Carlo and has been dubbed as one of the most physically and mentally demanding tracks ever created.

Offering charter guests the opportunity to be just meters away from the action, Port Hercule holds a limited number of trackside berths perfect for holding large mixers during corporate yacht charters . These berths get booked quickly so it's highly advisable to secure South of France yacht charters as early as possible for race days.

But the Monaco Grand Prix is not just about the racing. As with the Cannes Film Festival , taking place just weeks before, events yacht charters at the Monaco Grand Prix offer many glamourous after-parties and other lavish events after the podium ceremony has been completed.

Throughout the F1 Raceweek, the city of Monte Carlo is transformed into a hive of activity, with the iconic Amber Lounge pop-up event and fashion show coming to town.

Many famous faces flock to watch the on-track action and join in with the post-race festivities, with Port Hercule acting as the place to be for VIP Monaco yacht parties . The biggest party bands and Monaco's best nightclubs also join in the celebrations, offering some exhilarating nightlife and electrifying DJ sets.

There are always many glamourous after-parties and other lavish events taking place once the racing comes to an end.

Taking place during the third weekend of May, the Monaco Grand Prix is the most popular event to be hosted by the principality. Demand for a berth in Port Hercule soars during this time, so booking a Monaco or French Riviera yacht charter well in advance is highly recommended.

As well as the high-demand berths in Port Hercule, it’s also possible to anchor off the coast of Monaco or undertake a superyacht hospitality package with other like-minded individuals.

Ideal as a standalone charter experience or extension to an existing France yacht charter , the Monaco Grand Prix ensures charter guests can explore the beautiful Mediterranean  coastlines in style.

$22K Gets You on This Luxury Yacht to Watch the Monaco Grand Prix

Image may contain Water Vehicle Transportation Watercraft Vessel Waterfront Boat Dock Port Pier Marina and Human

The Monaco Grand Prix may be the best car race on the planet, and the best place to take it all in on Sunday is, not surprisingly, a $30 million yacht.

A significant chunk of the 3.34-kilometer track runs along Port Hercule, Monaco's main harbor, where dozens of luxury yachts pay thousands of dollars to dock for just a few days. The views from these massive boats are among the best in all of motorsport.

If you want one of those views but didn't think to buy a yacht and sail it to Monaco, you're in luck. For $22,000 per couple, you can spend race weekend partying on the 181-foot Turquoise.

The $30 million yacht is moored on the prestigious Quai Kennedy, at a particularly exciting spot along the course. Drivers coming out of the tunnel just before a chicane are hitting their highest speeds—north of 170 mph. They slow down to enter the turn, creating the rare opportunity to pass (most of the track is made up of city streets barely wide enough for two cars side by side). This braking zone is also the site of some scary moments over the years, including Sergio Perez's terrible crash in 2011 .

The $22,000 price tag covers four days and includes an open bar and fine dining. To get on board, guests must take private high-speed tenders between land and the moored yacht, as there is no dock access because of space restrictions.

Friday evening, the Turquoise will host 250 guests at the annual Royal Party, where His Serene Highness Prince Albert II will be in attendance.

The yacht arrived in Monaco on Tuesday and must stay moored until Monday because of harbor restrictions on boat movement—the harbor has some 700 slips and the logistics of moving boats and people, not to mention keeping the ships supplied with fresh water and electricity, are a nightmare.

The Turquoise has a cruising speed of 12 knots from her two 1,500 horsepower Caterpillar engines, with a range of 4,500 nautical miles. With a draft of just over 10 feet and a fuel capacity of more than 22,000 gallons, she can go nearly anywhere in comfort and style. With sleeping accommodations for 12 guests and 13 crew members, the yacht is typically available for charters starting at $300,000 per week.

Designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects, the Turquoise has advanced stabilizers keep the ship steady at anchor or on rough seas. The yacht has enough on-board toys and equipment to keep everyone entertained, including jet skis, snorkeling and fishing gear, and a full gym. Oh, and don't forget the 75" LCD TV in the lounge and the 92" movie screen on the aft deck.

For those looking for a last-minute getaway, My Yacht Monaco , the promotion company behind the race-weekend party, is still accepting reservations.

The Monaco Grand Prix takes place Sunday May 25 at 7:30 AM Eastern time on NBC.

Your dream yacht charter starts in Port Hercule, where timeless upscale hotels and the famous Casino Square create an atmosphere of sophistication and style, combined with the thrills of one of Formula 1’s most challenging races.

The Monaco Grand Prix is held on the Circuit de Monaco, a narrow, curvaceous street circuit that winds its way through the streets of Monte Carlo. The circuit is known for its tight corners, elevation changes, and limited overtaking opportunities, making it one of the most challenging and iconic tracks in Formula 1.

Formula 1’s premier event can be yours to experience aboard a yacht rental]

The swerving nature of the Monaco circuit poses unique challenges for drivers, and with minimal run-off areas and barriers close to the track, precision and concentration are crucial. This also makes it one of the most exciting stretches to watch, as the circuit demands a high level of skill, and any mistake can have significant consequences.

An Exclusive Viewing Experience

Yachters have the opportunity to watch the race from the comfort and privacy of their own vessels. The circuit passes through the iconic Port Hercule, which contains some of Europe’s best berths — offering prime views of the race thanks to the exclusive and unparalleled vantage points on offer.

The Monaco Grand Prix weekend is not just about the races. Yachters can enjoy a variety of off-board entertainment, including live music, parties, and cultural events that enhance the overall experience of being in Monaco during this prestigious event.

When not watching the race, yachters can explore the city’s upscale casinos, art exhibits, and shopping spree opportunities along the iconic Monte-Carlo district.

Nothing beats the view from Port Hercule

Yacht owners and guests can indulge in dockside hospitality, with many yachts hosting exclusive events and parties during the race weekend. This allows attendees to socialize, network, and enjoy gourmet cuisine and premium beverages in a luxurious setting.

Attending the Monaco Grand Prix as a yachter offers a blend of unparalleled views, luxurious hospitality, and social opportunities. A yacht charter Mediterranean style means the perfect chance to experience the glamor of Monaco during one of the most prestigious events in the world of motorsports.

Pending a positive outcome of the confirmation process, an Omaze representative will notify the potential winner via email and/or phone. The potential winner must respond within the time period designated in the notification, or Omaze may move on to another randomly drawn potential winner. Before confirming a potential winner as the winner, Omaze may require the potential winner to confirm their eligibility. Once that’s done, the potential winner and guest(s) must execute and return all required documents within the time frame specified by Omaze. If you do not execute and return all required documents within the time frame specified by Omaze, you will forfeit the Prize and Omaze will move on to another randomly drawn potential winner.

Travel companions are also required to sign a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of tickets. Additionally, travel companions/guests of the winner may be subject to a background check, which may impact their ability to participate in the Prize.

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

Transparency:

At Omaze, we believe fundraising should be about impact, not percentages. Our model allows us, in partnership with Charities Aid Foundation America (we call them CAFA), to really make a difference and disrupt the way society traditionally thinks about charitable giving.

Here’s how it works: Omaze and CAFA work together to offer incredible prizes and experiences that anyone can potentially win. You don’t have to donate to enter, but if you do, your donation to CAFA is then used to make a charitable grant to a great cause, which we love. Omaze pays for everything that’s needed to run the sweepstakes, which means the only ones taking a chance are the entrants (you!)—not the Designated Grantee . The  organizations can spend less time worrying about raising funds, and instead focus their energy on doing awesome work.

*This means that for the typical campaign, like this one from every dollar you donate, 60 cents is passed directly through to retained by CAFA, all of which is then used by CAFA to make a grant to the associated Designated Grantee. If there are multiple Designated Grantees, then grants of equal share are made to each Designated Grantee. Of the remaining 40 cents, 25 cents is typically used to pay for things like advertising, payment processing and the costs of making the campaign a success—including providing the prize. Then the remaining amount of your dollar, approximately last 15 cents goes to Omaze and is used to cover the cost of providing and maintaining the technology and team that makes this all happen.

The result? Causes get a guaranteed grant with no risk and no overhead or investment, our lucky winners get awesome prizes, and everyone else gets to help a great cause and spread joy!

To learn more about how we support causes in partnership with CAFA, see our Terms of Use .

Formula E at Monaco: How to watch, stream the 2024 Monaco E-Prix

Formula e's season hits the halfway mark at the legendary monaco street circuit.

gettyimages-2147803469.jpg

When speaking of tradition in a Formula racing series, there is none greater than racing in Monaco. And this weekend, that tradition is being renewed -- with a decidedly modern twist -- as Formula E heads to Circuit de Monaco for the Monaco E-Prix this Saturday at Noon ET on CBS.

Monaco serves as the halfway mark of Season 10 of Formula E, which is trending towards a dramatic championship battle between Pascal Wehrlein and Jake Dennis. The two are tied for the points lead after finishing 1-2 in Round 7 at Misano, with Oliver Rowland and Nick Cassidy both well within striking distance of the top of the standings.

The excitement at the top of the championship standings mirrors the continued excitement for the development of Formula E as a whole, which continued this week with the unveiling of their new GEN3 Evo race car for Season 11 in 2025. The car can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in just 1.82 seconds, outpacing current F1 cars by 30% and the current iteration of the GEN3 model by 36%.

A new benchmark for high-performance, sustainability and efficiency. THIS is GEN3 Evo ⚡ — Formula E (@FIAFormulaE) April 25, 2024

"The FIA and Formula E have been working hard on the development process of this new GEN3 Evo race car, which represents another significant leap forward in electric racing technology," FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem said in a statement. "I would like to thank both FIA and Formula E teams for the hard work which underlines our shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of sustainable motorsport, while delivering competitive racing."

How to Watch and Stream the 2024 Chinese GP

F1 is back in China for the first time in years. Here's how you can catch all of the action.

Formula 1 is returning to China for the first time in almost five years. For longtime F1 viewers and new fans alike, this return to the Shanghai International circuit is hugely exciting. The track features exhilarating straights and challenging corners, which will make for some serious racing action.

Already, this weekend is proving to be an exciting one. With drivers having not practiced this circuit in five years (and some never having driven it before) the playing field could be leveled this weekend. Lando Norris of McLaren was able to snag pole from the clutches of Max Verstappen for this weekend's sprint, and if successful on Saturday, Norris would take home his first ever F1 win.

The Japanese Grand Prix saw a return to first and second place for current championship leader Max Verstappen and Red Bull team mate Sergio Pérez. Red Bull's victory in Japan further extended Verstappen's World Drivers Championship lead on 77 points. Pérez follows in second place with 64 points and Ferrari's Charles LeClerc is third with 59 points.

This weekend's Grand Prix will follow the sprint race format, which means there will be extra events and racing that fans can tune into this weekend. The sprint action began on Friday with sprint qualifying and the sprint race. On Saturday, drivers will qualify for the Sunday Grand Prix.

The main race, which takes place on Sunday, April 21, starts at 2:55 a.m ET (11:55 p.m PT) and will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit in the city's Jiading district. The race will air on ESPN and ESPN Plus.

The entire race weekend, including practice sessions and qualifying, will be shown in the US on ESPN's family of TV and streaming networks. Folks looking to follow all of it will need access to the ABC and ESPN news channels on cable or live TV streaming services, or the ESPN Plus streaming service. We've broken down everything you need to know to stream today's race, and all the other F1 races this season.

lewis hamilton waves to fans while walking through the paddock

Lando Norris claimed pole for this weekend's sprint race over Max Verstappen.

When, where and what time are the races?

Races are held on Sunday and are usually spaced two weeks apart. Here's the entire schedule.

F1 2024 schedule

Best option for streaming in the us , carries f1 races in the us.

Whether or not you have cable, ESPN's stand-alone streaming service is great for casual fans of Formula 1 and is a must-have accessory for fanatics. It costs $11 a month (or $110 a year) and currently, ESPN has a deal with F1 to show 18 out of 23 Grands Prix this year. The catch is that ESPN Plus doesn't always air the free practice or qualifying sessions, but it tends to air Sprint races and the Sprint Shootout.

If you're an F1 fan who's also looking to get your Disney fix, the Disney trio bundle (Hulu, Disney Plus and ESPN Plus) might end up being an even better buy. It's great for fans who love catching the parts of the race weekend that typically air on EPSN2 or ESPNews, and who need the latest Marvel movies or Star Wars shows.

If you're a diehard fan of motorsports and Formula series racing, ESPN Plus might not be for you, given that it rarely covers F2, F3 or Porsche Supercar racing. That's why ESPN Plus is ideal for casual fans who enjoy catching a race every once in a while, or super fans who don't want or need all of the extra bells and whistles of F1 TV, but want to beef up their coverage options.

How to watch F1 online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the race locally, you may need a different way to watch -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on race day by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our  Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN , make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

Looking for other options? Be sure to check out some of the other great  VPN deals  taking place right now.

Best VPN for streaming

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It's normally $13 a month, and you can sign up for ExpressVPN and save 35% -- the equivalent of $8.32 a month -- if you get an annual subscription.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Livestream F1 racing in the UK

F1 in the UK is shown on Sky Sports and Channel 4 -- Sky Sports airs the races, practice rounds and qualifying, while free-to-air Channel 4 offers highlights broadcast after the day's action takes place. If you already have Sky Sports as part of your TV package, you can stream the race via its app, but cord-cutters can watch Sky TV with unlimited Sky Sports on a Now TV membership.

Those in the UK will need Sky Sports to watch F1 racing in 2024. If you subscribe to Sky, you can get the £22 Complete Sports package in order to get the races.

Cord-cutters can also opt for the £35-a-month package on Now TV and get unlimited Sky Sports.

Other options for streaming in the US without cable

Beyond ESPN Plus, numerous live TV streaming services carry channels with F1. Race weekends normally start on Friday with multiple practice runs and continue on Saturday with qualifying. The races themselves take place Sunday. ESPN typically airs practices and qualifying on a mix of ESPN 2 and ESPNews, while the races tend to air on ESPN. F1 events in North America often land on ABC.

Here are some of the best ways to catch the entire race weekend without cable.

Carries ABC, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNews

You can catch the entire race weekend with a subscription to YouTube TV, which costs $73 per month. ABC, ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPNews are all included in the package, which means you'll have all the channels you need in order to watch every second of the action.

Read our YouTube TV review .

Hulu Plus Live TV

Carries abc, espn, espn2, espnews.

Hulu Plus Live TV costs more than YouTube TV at $77 per month, and offers all the channels you need to watch every second of race weekend. As an added bonus, Hulu Plus Live TV comes with the rest of the Disney Bundle, which includes a Hulu on-demand content, along with subscriptions to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus.

Read our Hulu Plus Live TV review .

Sling TV Orange

Carries espn, espn2 and some abc stations.

Sling TV's $40 Orange plan (currently on sale for $20) might be a good choice for F1 fans who are primarily looking to just watch the races on Sundays. This plan is one of the cheapest ways to get access to ESPN and ESPN 2. Those looking for ESPNews will have to opt for the $11 Sports Extra add-on. Sling TV offers ABC as well but only in select cities.

Read our Sling TV review .

Carries ABC, ESPN, ESPN2

Fubo costs $80 per month and includes ABC, ESPN and ESPN 2. The base package lacks ESPNews, but you can add it for an extra $8 a month with the Fubo Extra package, or pay for the $90-a-month Elite streaming tier that includes Fubo Extra. Check out which  local networks Fubo offers here .

Read our Fubo review .

DirecTV Stream

Carries abc, espn, espn 2.

DirecTV Stream is one of the most expensive live TV streaming services. Its cheapest, $80-a-month Plus package includes ESPN, ESPN 2 and ABC, but you'll need to move up to the $109-a-month Choice plan to get ESPNews. You can use its  channel lookup tool  to see which local channels are available in your area.

Livestreams all F1, F2, F3 and Porsche Supercup races

For gearheads looking to get every angle on the action, F1 offers its own streaming service. F1 TV Pro costs $85 per season, or $11 per month, and gives fans access to all races from F1, F2, F3 and Porsche Supercup. You'll be able to livestream every track session from all F1 Grands Prix and have access to all driver onboard cameras and team radios.
