Drettmann Yachts is expanding its services adding yacht charters to their long standing sales and brokerage business. To be close to the charter action and the substantial German community, they are opening a new office in the prestigious port of Puerto Portals, Mallorca.
Annabell Drettmann, daughter of Claudia and Albert Drettmann, and her partner Yannick Altevolmer, are entering the 3 generation family business and will be in charge of the Mallorca office.
Annabell Drettmann explains: “we aim to offer a full circle yachting experience, which is why we started offering charter yachts. A charter vacation is also the perfect test and inspiration for a future yacht purchase.”

Drettmann Yachts Sell Superyacht My Way

Albert Drettmann of Drettmann Yachts builds on the company’s recent strong performance by broking the successful sale of Elegance 105 My Way .
Mr Drettmann and Mr Weiss worked with Yachting Experts, of Fort Lauderdale, to sell the 32m motor yacht built by Horizon in 2003. This is the third Elegance yacht Drettmann Yachts have sold in recent months and one of ten motor yachts that they sold since the summer.
My Way, itself, features naval architecture by Shipyard and the exterior design by Thommaso Spadolini whilst the interior design was done by Claudia Drettmann.

Drettmann shows brand new Majesty in Palma
The nearly 32-meter-long "Nixtun" will be docked at Palma Superyacht Village from April 27 to 30. The brand-new yacht is for sale.
From April 27 to 30, the Palma International Boat Show in combination with the Palma Superyacht Village (formerly Palma Superyacht Show) marks the - albeit unofficial - opening of the yachting season on the Balearic Islands. Below the cathedral of Mallorca's capital, over 200 companies will be exhibiting boats and yachts between five and 50 meters in length, and thousands of visitors are expected.
Drettmann Yachts will also be there with a highly interesting exhibit. At berth 430, the Bremen yacht experts will present the brand-new Majesty 100 "Nixtun", which was only delivered this year. The yacht is for sale at the show for 7.9 million euros.
Together with the German owners, Claudia Drettmann designed the interior of the yacht, which is precisely tailored to the contemporary taste of the clients. Limed oak and walnut were combined with carpets and ceilings in warm tones, making the rooms bright, inviting and cozy at the same time. The cabins of the extremely modern designed yacht display a similar look to give the interior a unified style.
The owner couple occupies their suite, including the office, on the main deck, while the guests sleep in four large and almost identically designed cabins on the lower deck. This layout also makes "Nixtun" extremely compatible for possible chartering.
With two MAN engines, each producing 1,900 hp, the yacht, which is built of GRP, reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots and is thus fast on transfers; the cruising speed is 16 knots. At a reduced speed of twelve knots, she has a respectable range of 1,500 nautical miles, which is more than sufficient for Mediterranean transfers. Her fuel tanks hold a total of 15,700 liters of diesel. "Nixtun," by the way, is the first Majesty 100 with MAN 1900 engines, soot particle filters and AdBlue injection. A draft of just 1.67 meters allows the vessel to sail in shallow waters; zero-speed stabilizers provide additional comfort.
Drettmann Yachts has been working closely for several years with the Gulf Craft shipyard in the United Arab Emirates, which manufactures the Majesty megayachts, among others. The nearly 32-meter Majesty 100 in particular enjoys great popularity; after all, the yacht is ideally suited for Mediterranean cruising and is also compatible with smaller marinas. In addition, it impresses with an excellent price-performance ratio; Drettmann Yachts has already been able to sell several units of the GRP format, which has a speed of over 20 knots.
Albert Drettmann comments on the upcoming appearance at Palma Superyacht Village as follows: "With 'Nixtun' we are certainly exhibiting one of the most interesting yachts of the show. Her quality, her design, her size and her very young year of construction are highly interesting for owners who still want to acquire a high-quality yacht in time for the summer season."

Company history. Drettmann became famous in the yachting world long before the launch of its first boat. Its history began in 1970, when Traute&Dierk Drettmann rented a small garage in Bremen and started selling used boats.. In 1977 the company became the distributor of Neptunus.Over the next 20 years of fruitful cooperation Drettmann has sold over 750 yachts of this manufacturer.
