Catalina 38

Catalina 38

In 1978, Catalina Yachts was a young company with a Midas touch, enjoying brisk sales of its sailboats from 22 to 30 feet, all of them designed and built in house. And then company owner Frank Butler tried something different. He bought the mold for the Yankee 38, designed by Sparkman & Stephens and descended from a successful one-off IOR aluminum raceboat, from the bankrupt Yankee Boat Co. Butler saw this competitive racer as a flagship that would raise the profile of the Catalina fleet. He was right. In 1980, the Catalina 38 was selected for the prestigious Congressional Cup. The company went on to build 366 Catalina 38s over the next 14 years.

Butler made significant changes to the S&S design. He replaced the skeg-hung rudder with a balanced spade rudder and created a high-aspect-ratio rig with a taller mast and shorter boom. He redesigned the interior for weekender livability and the deck and trunk cabin to match Catalina aesthetics.

Other aspects of the dated racing design — long overhangs, generous tumblehome and a pert little reverse transom — give the Catalina 38 its pleasing lines. Butler’s redesigned deck gives it a sleek, low profile but narrow side decks are a result of those changes. Passage from the cockpit to the foredeck can be tricky, especially if a wide dodger is fitted.

With its pedigree, it’s no surprise that owners report the Catalina 38 sails to windward like it’s on rails and also sails beautifully in light air. That superior upwind performance comes with a draft that approaches 7 feet, a limiting factor for some cruising sailors.

Boats designed to the IOR have a reputation for poor manners and instability downwind. But that reputation was earned under race conditions when boats were intentionally overpowered and driven hard. A cruising couple is unlikely to push any boat to the brink of broaching, and many find the IOR warhorses, including the Catalina 38, in fact make fine cruising boats.

Down below, the major interior components are incorporated into a molded hull liner. Teak trim and veneer are used for doors, drawer facings and bulkheads. In early models the cabin sole was fiberglass, but in later models it was covered with teak and holly veneer.

The keel-stepped mast abuts the bulkhead forward of the main saloon. Forward of the bulkhead are the head to port, lockers to starboard and the V-berth, which easily accommodates two adults.

A U-shaped dinette to port (that converts to a double berth) is the main feature in the saloon. Aft of the dinette is a snug U-shaped galley.

On the starboard side of the saloon is a long settee with stowage behind and beneath it. A nav station backs up to a quarter berth that extends under the cockpit.

Owners with cruising plans might find the tankage limiting, but they should avoid adding weight in the bow and stern of this fine-ended boat.

The Atomic 4 gasoline engine was fitted in very early boats but many have been replaced. The 24-horsepower Universal diesel in later ones reportedly lacks the power to push the boat at hull speed in moderate wind and chop. Engine access is adequate.

The Catalina 38 enjoys a loyal following, and owners praise its design, build quality and performance. Rare for boats of this vintage, the builder is still in business, and provides design and parts support. Asking prices range from $25,000 to $75,000, with older boats at the lower end of the bracket.

Catalina 38 History & General Specifications

The original boat was designed by Sparkman and Stephens to be built as a one-off racing design.  The hull form was then purchased by the Yankee Boat Company in Marina del Rey, California.  They built approximately 30 Yankee 38’s before the business failed.   The Yankee 38 had a shorter mast, single spreaders, and a longer boom.  It had a 7 foot draft and a skeg-hung rudder.  It had more of a traditional look with a deck house and smaller ports.  The interior was not as light or roomy, with a pilot berth built into the starboard side of the cabin.  There is a Yankee 38 named Bullet berthed in Shelton, WA.

Also, a Catalina 38 owner reported that an infamous Yankee 38 called Damn Yankee can be found in Olympia, WA as well.  It is a well known boat (hull #4 or 5) and can be found next to his Catalina 38, “Cyrena”!

Frank Butler of Catalina Yachts purchased the molds from Yankee, and started building our boat.  He wasn’t content with redesigning the interior and giving it a Catalina deck.  He put a taller mast, shorter boom, and moved the rudder and made it a balanced spade design for faster tacking.  He also, so the story goes, called Sparkman and Stephens for permission to advertise it as a Sparkman and Stephens design.  It is said that they asked for a royalty way beyond what he was willing to pay and he politely refused.  He made the Catalina 38 a faster boat, and as a result for years it replaced the Cal 40 as the official Congressional Cup boat, one of the top match racing regattas in the world.  It was, in turn, replaced by the Capri 37, also made by Catalina Yachts .

If you ever see a strange looking Catalina 38 with a single spreader rig and a longer boom, it is hull number one.  Also, a few 38’s were steered with a tiller, but it was quickly determined that it was a little more of a handful with a tiller, so all thereafter were built with a wheel.  It is possible that all the tillers have since been replaced with wheels.  The original power plants, Atomic four gasoline engines, were replaced with 3 cylinder Universal diesels.

A fascinating article on the racing configuration of the Catalina 38 can be found in the 8th edition of Royce’s Sailing Illustrated .

SHANNON has the desirable shoal / wing keel, blue hullsides, traditional rigging, and has lower hours showing than any other that I could find on the market! I am told that the previous owner passed away last winter. The bank holding the mortgage subsequently foreclosed upon SHANNON and she is now available for an incredible buying opportunity! Please view the 200+ photos of this 387 Catalina to see just how much this one shines! SHANNON is powered by a 40hp Yanmar diesel engine. The hour meter on the tachometer reads just 334 hours on it. This Catalina has two staterooms, a fully enclosed head & shower, plus a large main salon. She is hull number 62 from the factory. Here are some of the other features that I am aware of: Ultraleather seating surfaces in salon Windlass Anchor System Teak and holly flooring in the salon and staterooms Electric head Princess gas stove and Oven Delonghi Convection Oven Propane solenoid valve Acu-Gage water level monitor Water heater Standard Horizon VHF (appears newer) In-counter drop-in refrigerator Xantrex Power Inverter Charles Battery Charger Bow dodger Color Raymarine chartplotter/ radar unit at the helm Raymarine radome on the mast Raymarine autopilot at the helm Sony XPLOD Stereo with CD Changer Based on my observations, this Catalina exhibits a number of features and benefits beyond what I would consider an average 387 Catalina of this year. My observations include: The flag blue paint exhibits tremendous shine The sails, covers, and rigging lines appear to be in good, if not excellent, condition The stainless rails all appear to be in good condition and exhibit great shine The cabin appears to have been lightly used She has the optional air conditioning for the master stateroom (see note below) Her bow dodger and associated canvas appear to be in serviceable (if not good) condition Her engine appears relatively clean in appearance She has a newer LCD television in the salon with DVD player Her manuals are present She has the desirable WING KEEL/ SHOAL DRAFT (4’10”) She has brand new 4D batteries that were installed in October (2016). Based on looking at SHANNON and moving her to her current slip, I noticed the following imperfections/ items that may need attention: The board on air conditioning unit appears to need replacement. The A/C initially powered up for me on October 21st and blew cold air, however, the breaker tripped about 10 minutes after running. Power was checked and is good going into the board; however, it appears that the board shorted. This is relatively common for A/C units as we had a board failure two weeks ago on one of our vessels in Florida. (We had a board replaced for $600 last month in Florida.) There is area of paint on the starboard side that shows imperfections if seen up close. Upon closer inspection from various angles, I could see that there was a prior repair in that area that goes above the waterline to the cap and runs forward from mid-ship to the bow area. I am guessing that the surface in that spot was not prepped well enough for the paint. See photo. There are some spots on the interior wood walls where the stain has lightened. (The most noticeable areas are directly behind the shelf adjacent to the sofas. If SHANNON were my personal vessel, I would let the areas be and not bother re-staining/ refinishing.) The map table has discoloration in the wood. (I would plan to refinish this, if SHANNON were my personal boat.) While I consider the interior and exterior to be relatively clean in appearance, the next owner may desire to spend some hours (or hiring a detailer) to go through each hatch / surface / cubby hole to greater clean the appearance to his or her liking. The macerator pump appears to need replacement as its breaker trips immediately. I moved this boat on October 21st on Back Creek in Annapolis, Maryland. She started right up and ran great while underway. There are sails in the AFT stateroom. Please see the photos. To me, each looks to be in good condition. Note that my observation is solely based on what I can visually see of them in the stateroom. The mast is currently in storage near SHANNON’s current slip. Port Annapolis Marina quoted 14-16 hours to rig + tune the mast. They charge $105 per hour for rigging. Other yards will charge less, but for the purposes here, I recommend budgeting $1800 to re-step the mast. For those that desire to transport this Catalina via truck, it is a benefit to keep the mast down until she reaches her new destination. The sails are currently in the aft stateroom. They look exceptionally clean to me. It is important to note that of those sold comps above; the vast majority had more hours. (Average hours are generally accepted at 100 hours per year. I will be happy to send out the comps to those that request via email.) Further note that those numbers reflect the average prices. In my experience, comps with high hours, significant flaws, and high wear and tear tend to sell below the average price. Those comps with low hours, few flaws, and low wear and tear tend to sell above the average price. WE ENCOURAGE ALL SERIOUS PARTIES TO INQUIRE AND LOOK AT SHANNON. You may contact me, Rob, directly at 561-676-7250. We are looking to get SHANNON sold in the next few weeks. Do keep in mind that once this Catalina is sold, the chances of being able to find another at this opportunity will be nearly impossible. Please note that I am in Florida. We do not have any sales representatives located in Annapolis, however, I do have a couple of friends in Annapolis that can assist. SHANNON is currently winterized and on land in Annapolis (off Back Creek). Please keep in mind that SHANNON is a bank foreclosure and it is not my personal boat nor did I know the prior owner. I am not able to speak to the ins / outs of this vessel nor am I able to speak about how she sails, etc. My comments above are solely based on my own observations. I am sure there are more flaws than what I observed as she is a 10 year old+ vessel. This is not a brand new or perfect vessel. SHANNON will be the 3rd Catalina that we have sold in past year. Given the circumstances, information available, time of year, etc, we have set her WAY below average prices. I believe this represents an opportunity for the winning bidder to purchase SHANNON well below what the other 387s have been selling for on the traditional retail/ brokerage market. Please understand that I have done my best to represent the vessel as I notice it to be. Neither I, Aqueous, the financial institution, nor any other agents express or imply any guarantees or warranties whatsoever about this vessel (or any vessel). The description and photos do not represent any guarantees about the condition of the vessel or accuracy of any information. WE ENCOURAGE ALL BUYERS TO DO THEIR OWN INSPECTIONS / OBSERVATIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASING. Please understand that this is not a brand new yacht. Accordingly, we do not expect it to sell for the same price as a brand new one. Buyers are welcome to have the vessel inspected and surveyed. Any survey will be for the buyer’s benefit and will not constitute a price reduction or negotiating tool. Florida residents or anyone wishing to bring this Catalina to the State of Florida will be required to pay the state sales tax of 6%. We have a clear and marketable title to this vessel. SHANNON was previously documented with the United States Coast Guard. Upon qualification and a $84 application fee (if no lien is recorded), the new owner can obtain a USCG Certification documentation certificate in his/ her own name. If the owner desires a state issued Certificate of Title, then Aqueous can obtain a Florida Certificate of Title for the next owner if applicable fees and taxes are remitted. (Certificates can take up to 60 days to obtain.) Personal and/or professional inspections are very welcome prior to purchasing. Please feel free to call Rob with Aqueous Yachts at 561-676-7250 to come look at this beauty. Length 32.0

1994 Catalina 320. This well priced, nice example is located at the Mission Bay Yacht Club. The 320 is a fast comfortable cruiser with lots of room. It is a modern design with a huge swim step, complete with hot/cold shower, and a step-through transom. The cockpit easily seats 10 with elevated aft perch seats. There is a queen size bed in the aft stateroom (with locking door), an ample 2 person v-berth forward with door and removable wall panels, convertible dining table sleeps two, and a berth to port sleeps one more. The galley includes a double sink with water filter, 2-burner stove, and a great working gimbled oven. The fridge is very large with 2 top-loading doors and a freezer which keeps items well frozen. There is a microwave and much storage. The head is to starboard. There is plenty of room to shower and change with large mirror. The toilet is new. There are two fresh water holding tanks, and a waste holding tank with macerator pump. The 2 4D house batteries are brand new, and there are two deep cycle starting batteries. The Clarion stereo is also new with CD player, bluetooth, charging USB cable, capable of playing pandora, flash drives, etc. and includes a remote control operable from the cockpit. Electronics include; main VHF with a remote handheld (works up to 50' away), Garmin GPS/Chartplotter, speed/depth, auto pilot with remote control, and Raymarine radar. All manuals are on board. The invertor/charger is upgraded and newer. The cockpit built-in propane tank has an accessory line for a BBQ. The dodger/ windows are a few years new. The mast can be lowered (tabernacled) to pass under low bridges. (This is about an $8000 upgrade)All lines lead to the cockpit. The jib is roller furled. The main is fully battened and has lazy jacks to keep the it tidy when lowered. There is a colorful asymmetrical spinnaker, and easily deployed pole. The anchor and rode fit nicely in the ample anchor locker. There is a windlass to help with the anchor. The bottom is cleaned regularly. The engine was professionally serviced in July (oil/filter change, tranny oil, both fuel filters and raw water impeller replaced). The diesel engine is strong with just 1263 hours. It cruises under power at about 7 knots and consumes less than a gallon of fuel an hour.We sail every year to Catalina Island (just returned with our family of four, from a two week trip) and thoroughly enjoy the boat, but we have bought a larger boat with partners and are ready to sell. You will find US Coast Guard Documented "El Encanto" proven, well kept, and ready to go. Catalina 38 pros and cons

38 catalina sailboat

  • Add to quote

I am toying with the idea of going to the States to purchase a Catalina 38, 1980-85 build. They seem to be in the US$ 50,000 mark, This is half the cost of the same yacht in Australia. I intend to make an extended trip back to Australia via the islands. Please tell me why/why not this is a good/bad idea.

Watch your head Simon, I think may be a good idea but you first should know the cons of the design. 1) You ausies are all tall, aren't you? The boom is very low in the cockpit and seems an issue for most people over about 5' 6". It's a head banger on the companion way and a serious threat in an accidental jibe. The low boom also forces a very short dodger. Cabin height is also limited. A six footer has his head on the cabin top in the galley. There is a 6' 3" height area right next to the mast in the for advertising purposes. 2) Tankage is light. Most have a 25 gallon fuel tank and a .75 gallon burn rate. Water is tight too at 35 gallons. 3) Storage is a little tight too, for a 38 ft boat. Every one of these items comes from the fact that cabin volume is quite small due to the low cabin top. Look at one setting next to a Beneteau of the same length and it looks quite small indeed. However, the reduced profile is generally an asset at sea. Also, remember, it is only a 15,900 lb displacement boat. It's a light 38 footer. Hope that is of some help. Dave

dcmeigs I am 6'2" it was the 6'3' advertised cabin hight that had me intrested, other yachts I will consider would be Bristol 40, c&c 38/40 and the cal39. any ideas. thanks Simon

Simon I own a Catalina 38 first off the cabin height is constant except in the galley which is 6'2" or taller ,the rest is a good 6'4". I have never had anyone bang their head you might watch where hardware comes through the deck. The tankage can be solved with two mods the fuel can be made to carry 40 gallons maybe more since the space for the tank is very large. The water can also be made to carry 46 gallons if you contact the company RONCO who built the tanks for Catalina they have a bow tank that will fit.The room in the boat is like an apartment open and lots of room to kick back and stretch out. The Catalina 38 and the Swan 38 are the the same hull also the Yankee 38 which was the first Sparkman Stephens design. The decks are like oak hard as a rock and do not flex much.the rig is strong with chain plated stronger than needed. The Catalina 38 is not a floating motorhome but a real sailing yacht with cruising abuility if you are willing to give a little. I solved the generator problem by using a good set of batteries and an invertor. All my electrical is new about three months old top of the line Standard horizon Matrix radio with command mike. AGM batteries Xantrex 40+ charger Xantrex 1000 inverter new isolatoralmost all the wire in the boat has been replaced. Mast needs rewired new waste pump water pumps (2) one salt one fresh all are Sureflow. Allot of stuff new hardware new main hallard. Wish I would have replaced the spinaker hallard it broke at about 8.7 knots on my cruise from Florida to Texas last month,"bummer". If you would like to get in touch I will be glad to talk even if you don't want my boat. I don't have to sell but I have allot on my plate right now. [email protected]

Seller's Description

Priced Reduced!! Covid affects us all in different ways. I am happy to have survived the Disease. Experiencing some financial stress thus the price reduction. Price includes new 130 Headsail.

Tranquility a Shoal Draft, Fresh Water Catalina 38 S&S Design. Sail, Sailboat Sail boat sailingintotranquility.com A great Article on this design: yachtworld.com/research/catalina-38-love-story-used-sailboat-yes Data Here: sailboatdata.com/sailboat/catalina-38

If you’re familiar with the Sparkman Stevens Swan this Hull design will be familiar. The hull is a tumblehome design with a wine stem transom. The Sparkman Stevens Yankee design was purchased by Catalina for the purpose of competing in the congressional Cup Race. This hull design Is quite unique reminds me of the Sailing frigates of old. Low slung with a rounded freeboard area. The stern view will help to demonstrate this. The result is a very nice ride. While my Friends boats are bashing through the waves Tranquility is gliding along Pushing the spray outboard. In a fresh breeze Tranquility balances nicely with Furler deployed headsail only. Cruising comfortably at around 6 KTS. The furling system is well tuned I have no problems furling in a tach with winds blowing between 30-40 KTS.

Accommodations: Tranquility will accommodate 7 persons. Forward double berth (Master). Salon Drop the table move the cushions wala you have another double. Starboard Sea Bunk This is a bench single designed as a sea bunk. And last but not least starboard aft berth. Also a double also makes a great storage area aka the garage.

The Saloon area Dining area for you lubber’s. This is a great place to have the neighbors over for a visit. On a hot day with the AC cranked up you would be amazed at how many we can accommodate.

Equipment: The inboard Diesel engine is Westerbeke 5424, Universal refers to this as an M30 / Kubota D-1101 Most parts with the exception of marine cooling system can be purchased from Kubota tractor dealer much less expensive than universal or Westerbeke. Example Marine alternator 865.00 I I paid 124.00 for the same part. this is a 3 Cylinder Diesel engine. Burns clean, uses about 1/2 Gallon HR - at 4kts. Approximately 1 GPH at 7kts. The engine has a pressure pump that brings fuel from Tank via Racor separator. Separator filter was changed last year a spare is provided. Alternator was replaced last year. Engine Oil every other month. Fuel gauge sending unit replaced last year. Cooling is via heat exchanger it has two water pumps one for the closed system (Antifreeze). Fresh water pump which drives water from through hull to the heat exchanger then overboard. The Exhaust pipe was changed recently this is a galvanized pipe and know too corrode over time. The exhaust rises vertically from the exhaust flange up to an Aluminum part which injects water into the exhaust. Tranquility has a well if not beautifully insulated ice box. This box is fairly large for boats of this size. Access is via top doors. The onboard AGM batteries with solar power will provide for operation of all systems with full batteries at the end of the day. The cabin has 3 DC Fans but I generally run the 110 volt fans via the included 2000 watt pure signwave power inverter. I often work from the boat and I can say it is great to be able to heave to. Get out the MacBook Pro and go to work. with the combination of WiFi and Cell booster I am always in range. College Football underway is not a problem. Thank you Youtube TV! ok what else lets see Back at the dock after a long day of sailing. Plug in the power turn on the 16K Marine Air and Relax! This unit is outstanding! Heats and Cools. Does the boat have a generator NO. I do have a Honda 2200i that I have used in the past but not powerful enough to pull the AC. Batteries Power the fans so since adding solar I don’t carry the generator around. If you like AC when not pier side I recommend the Generac GP3000i about a grand. I have made a space for this under the port lazaretto. Everything you ever wanted to know about the Catalina 38 https://www.catalina38.org/?page_id=75

She is well equipped: Solar Equipped, BG Vulcan Chart Plotter, Cold Air-conditioning, Outstanding Refrigeration, Plush comfortable interior. 2000 Watt Inverter. Long Range Wifi, Cellular Booster, Primary

Details: Located at Grand Lake Oklahoma CruiseAir 16K, Adler Barbour refrigeration, CruiseAir De Humidifier Compressor type, Navigation: B&G Chart Plotter, Forward looking Sonar, Wireless Wind Vane New B&G.

Galley: Updated to all Electric. Is powered via Shore power or onboard inverter and house battery bank

Rig and Sails

Auxilary power, accomodations, calculations.

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

Classic hull speed formula:

Hull Speed = 1.34 x √LWL

Max Speed/Length ratio = 8.26 ÷ Displacement/Length ratio .311 Hull Speed = Max Speed/Length ratio x √LWL

Sail Area / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the power of the sails relative to the weight of the boat. The higher the number, the higher the performance, but the harder the boat will be to handle. This ratio is a "non-dimensional" value that facilitates comparisons between boats of different types and sizes. Read more.

SA/D = SA ÷ (D ÷ 64) 2/3

  • SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).
  • D : Displacement in pounds.

Ballast / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

Ballast / Displacement * 100

Displacement / Length Ratio

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.

D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³

  • D: Displacement of the boat in pounds.
  • LWL: Waterline length in feet

Comfort Ratio

This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.

Comfort ratio = D ÷ (.65 x (.7 LWL + .3 LOA) x Beam 1.33 )

  • D: Displacement of the boat in pounds
  • LOA: Length overall in feet
  • Beam: Width of boat at the widest point in feet

Capsize Screening Formula

This formula attempts to indicate whether a given boat might be too wide and light to readily right itself after being overturned in extreme conditions. Read more.

CSV = Beam ÷ ³√(D / 64)

Based on an earlier S&S design; (YANKEE 38-S&S #2094). The molds were purchased when Yankee Yachts went out of business. Among the modifications to the original design: new deck and coach roof, taller rig, and balanced spade rudder. Shoal draft version: 4.90’/1.49m

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Catalina 380 is designed to incorporate the performance, accommodations, and features which experienced

sailors consider important. All aspects of the Catalina 380 - from the securely stayed rig to the choice of deep or

shoal draft keels - reflect a sailing lifestyle. The Catalina 380 is sensibly equipped with an offshore-capable rig with

double spreader mast, in-line uppers, intermediates, fore and aft lowers, forestay, and backstay. The inboard

shroud base allows for narrow sheeting angles and the ability to carry large genoas. In the cockpit, excellent

visibility forward is assured by the low profile ball bearing mainsheet traveler. For the crew, the standard cockpit

table comes with two drop leafs, beverage storage, and foot rest. Steering is traditional pedestal layout with

stainless guard and a 5-inch compass with stainless binnacle. The wide weather decks are textured nonskid, gently

angled surfaces without sharp corners. The oversize stem boarding ladder leads to a hot and cold fresh water

shower and two large storage lockers. Below deck the varnished teak interior bulkheads, cabinets, and joinery

speak of the quality that goes into making the Catalina 380. Nine opening hatches assure abundant light and

ventilation throughout the main cabin. The teak navigation desk is mid ships. It comes with a swivel chair and plenty

of space for any one of the several available entertainment and navigation electronics packages. The owner's cabin

aft is highlighted by the oversize double berth, with numerous storage bins and lockers within arm's reach. Two

separate dressing areas, each with upholstered seat and hanging locker, allow plenty of room to move about in this

private retreat. The spacious owner's cabin features numerous lockers, cabinets, and drawers. The reading lamps,

abundant natural light and ventilation, and comfortable seating make this cabin an inviting retreat. The L-shaped

galley is built for efficient food preparation and quick, easy clean-up. There is plenty of galley storage in the four

large over-counter cabinets; the large, dry food bin; and the generous ice box. Both forward and aft cabins have

double berths and generous hanging lockers, with plenty of adjacent storage. A private entrance from the owner's

cabin leads to the ultra modern head. This bright, airy compartment has the luxury of an enclosed shower with onepiece

acrylic door. A separate sink and vanity is provided for family or guests in the forward cabin, along with

numerous drawers and shelves for storage of personal items while aboard. The galley has all the latest

conveniences and the space to prepare gourmet meals aboard. Amenities include a three-burner stainless

gimbaled LP gas stove with oven, polished stainless double sink, and truly cavernous icebox with convenient front

access door. Meal preparation and clean-up are easy with custom molded one-piece countertops and an integrated

countertop butcher block - trash chute.
