Euroyachts are a long established boat sales and service company located in Scotland. We have bases in Largs Yacht Haven and Troon Yacht Haven. At Largs Marina we operate from the largest custom built boat sales Showroom in the UK. Our business was established in 1965 and we have been distributors for Jeanneau sailing and motorboats since 1978.

Ronnie and Angus Scott

Our name, and that of founder Ronnie Scott, has been at the forefront of pleasure craft retailing in the UK since the late sixties.

Ronnie Scott pioneered the use of indoor boat sales premises, part exchange and imported yachts for national distribution as early as 1962, with the still prolific East German Folkboat.

Since 1978 we have enjoyed a unique trading relationship with French builders  Jeanneau , running the national distribution until 1993, and today are responsible for distribution in Scotland. Ronnie Scott’s son Angus worked in the business full time from 1981 until the company was sold to Yachts.co in October 2020. In his time in the business Angus ran the UK and Irish distribution of Jeanneau boats from our Hamble office between 1988 and 1992 and more recently was responsible for the development of our Largs Showroom. Angus Scott ran the business from 1994 to 2020.

In addition to domestic sales we have enjoyed success overseas, exporting regularly to the Far East and Mediterranean markets. We have commissioning bases in the South of France and have seen more than twenty new Jeanneau yachts, most above 40ft, being handed over in a single season

Between the renowned Scottish Highlands and along the west coast of Scotland lies the coastal town of Largs, home to our Princess Yachts dealer, DDZ Marine. This traditional destination enjoys year-round accessibility and is popular with tourists. Complete with a Victorian promenade, quaint shops and some of the best restaurants in Scotland, Largs is a beautiful spot to keep your Princess yacht and enjoy nearby islands and bays.

Yacht Haven is where you will find DDZ Marine and their sales and service operations. It is also the largest marina in Scotland and boasts excellent facilities including two travel hoists, hard-standing storage, plus much more. Ashore, there is a great range of restaurants, bars and shops stocked with the essentials you need to make your boating trip relaxing.

DDZ Marine has over 30 years of experience in boat sales and servicing, with the addition of Princess Yachts Scotland. Its origins go back to 1984, where Dino Zavaroni created DDZ Marine as a one-man business at Largs Marina. Now with 15 employees across their sales and service divisions, the company enjoys a sterling reputation with one of the best-equipped and modern purpose-built boat sheds in the west of Scotland. Dino is still as active in the company as he was in the beginning, now as managing director.

Their busy boat sales department is headed up by George McDiarmid, “I have been brought up on and around the west coast of Scotland with a passion for sailing and motor boating – much to the disappointment of my kids! Our family holidays usually involve a boating trip up the west coast, always taking in the stunning island of Jura and their magnificent distillery. There is a lot to see and do here in Scotland, with beautiful bays, remote islands and fewer people – this really is a great place to own a boat”. George is also a qualified Marine Engineer and has been around boats for the majority of his life, so can help in selecting the perfect boat for any individual.

Dino and George boast over 100 years of boating experience and knowledge between them. It’s fair to say that tucked away in this little town of Largs is an owner’s haven just waiting to be explored.

Take advantage of the season with this superb sailing family yacht - a beautifully maintained Moody 31 Mk2, now available for a reduced price of £25,995. Crafted in 1985 and located in Largs, United Kingdom, this yacht boasts an overall length of 9.37 metres with a generous beam of 3.20 metres. Powered by a robust 28hp Volvo diesel, it offers accommodation for six across three comfortable cabins, including an owner's after cabin with a large double berth. As per its traditional 'V' configuration, the forward cabin includes a double berth, with the saloon offering two single settee berths. 9. Further Information

The two main differences between the Mark I and Mark II are the Mark II has a Sugar scoop transom and a forward facing chart table. Wheel steering was available as an optional extra. Forecabin: 2 single berths. Saloon: 2 bench settee berths. Chart area to port with forward facing chart table and stowage. navigator's stool. Galley to starboard. Aft cabin is immediately aft of the galley. Two single berths are fitted in 'V' formation and a double berth conversion. Toilet compartment is to port immediately aft of the navigation area. Marine WC. Oilskin locker.

Annual and Seasonal Berthing

Rates are per metre length overall (LOA), unless otherwise stated, including VAT at 20%. Minimum chargeable length 6.1 metres. Berthing fees from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. Annual contracts start on the first day of any month. 

Six month special winter prices are valid from 1 Oct 2024 - 31 March 2025, or 1 Nov 2024 to 30 April 2025. Rates are per metre length overall (LOA), unless otherwise stated, including VAT at 20%.

Our Winter Package Ashore price includes lift out, pressure wash, mast down, storage ashore, mast up and launch off .  Lift out dates are flexible to allow you to make the most of autumn sailing.

All berths are fully serviced with water, electricity and Wi-Fi (all inclusive in the daily rate for visitors). Rates are per metre length overall (LOA), unless otherwise stated. Minimum chargeable length 6.1 metres. All prices include VAT. Valid from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. E&OE.

All berthing to be paid in advance. All other accounts to be settled net 7 days. All work carried out under BMF Scotland/TYHA regulations. All lifting, boat movement, boat and vehicle storage entirely at owner's risk. Electricity is available to all berths afloat and ashore, please ensure you use a Metermaid in line cable to meter your usage. The meter should be placed at the module end of the cable and not inside your boat.
