Probably the best experience I had with the broker ever. I was purchasing a vessel located in south Florida from New Jersey. Arney and Michelle guided me through the whole transaction over the phone and email and were super helpful in not just arranging all pre prepurchase paperwork and survey, but also helping with addressing the issues that came up after the transaction was completed. My Great Experience with Manny Diaz from Hooker Yachts. After using another broker two years ago to sell my vessel, I didn’t really get the feeling that they appreciated my business, it was like I was just another customer, so when I decided to take the plunge and purchase another larger vessel, I searched for a broker that actually took the time to sit down with me, find out what boat was really going to make me happy, all within my personal budget. I never felt pressured and after Manny personally supervised the marine survey, I knew he’d found the right boat for me. Everybody has access to the same real time information online and the marine industry has a lot of people who don’t really have your back. So I believe that when buying or selling a boat you have to ask yourself what sets brokers apart. The ability to effectively navigate through difficult negotiations with parties who may not share the same values or ways of doing business. This is something that is most crucial, yet so rare. Efficiency and market knowledge are also important, but above all honesty. You will find all of these qualities with Manny Diaz. Manny represented the sale of my vessel last year and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a vessel.

I had the opportunity to purchase a little sporty yacht a few years ago. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Amanda. Being a licensed broker, she was able to handle the escrow funds and help me navigate the intensive inspections. She was able to recommend qualified inspectors and held my hand along the process. She helped with insurance, title work, lenders and setting up business paperwork.
