The Contessa 32 fin keel distance cruiser racer, these boats need no formal introduction and still remain one of the most admired yachts ever designed. Classic lines with a curvaceous under water hull shape, you have it all in one of these. This example has had numerous updates over the years, includes, Engine overhaul, Hull professionally repainted, Mast removed and rig checked, Standing rigging replaced 2016, Darglow feathering three bladed prop, 80W solar panel, wind vane steering, Chart plotter, and much more. 2022 survey available by request. OWNERS COMMENTS:

In current ownership for the last 18 months.

A change in circumstances has caused us to cut short our ownership

Ashore during 2022 for engine overhaul and other repairs

In 2023 she was launched in May from Baltic Wharf and moored in Dartmouth. She has been out on recreational cruises in Start Bay and competed in two races this season, winning one, a joy to sail.

RECENT UPDATES:

Engine overhauled by New Wave Marine. Works included bench testing with new gear box seal, new engine mounts, drive, new fuel hoses, repaired wiring loom and new water filter installed. Service included new engine anode, impellor, oil and filters.

Goose neck replaced with new by Lee Rodgers

New gas hoses installed by Gas Safe Marine. New gas bottle

Starboard side saloon panel repaired and re-varnished.

Cockpit grid removed and repaired and redecorated.

Earthing wire replaced

Heads seacocks removed, cleaned and regreased.

Deck painted with two pack International and KIWI grip - didn’t get to finish cockpit

Removed mast

Rigging checked

Levac toilet service pump cleaned and ‘o’ rings replaced, works well

New tiller made and fitted

New sprayhood and stack pack

Removed engine to restore the engine bay and service valves

New hoses and exhaust

New engine mounts

Service and paint engine

New alternator and spare

Removed rudder and had it split, checked tangs were good inside, then re-glassed

Replaced rudder stock bushings

New batteries - solar panel added and keeps them topped up so no problem to run fridge

Stainless steel standing rigging renewed
