Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire Party on a Yacht in St. Tropez

The old friends hung out aboard a small luxury boat off the coast of St. Tropez on Thursday.

What’s the best way to celebrate raising $30 million for charity? For Leonardo DiCaprio and his pal Tobey Maguire , the answer is a yacht party in the south of France.

The old friends looked like they were having a blast on Thursday hanging out aboard a small luxury boat off the coast of St. Tropez, where just last night DiCaprio’s foundation raised $30 million and counting towards protecting the environment.

DiCaprio has been spending more time with friends following his split from Nina Agdal earlier this summer after a year of dating.

Maguire was also on hand last night for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation’s fourth annual charity auction, where the star-studded guest list was treated to a surprise performance by Madonna and a set by Lenny Kravitz.

Prince Albert II of Monaco , Madonna’s ex Sean Penn , Uma Thurman , Jared Leto , Cate Blanchett , Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson , Edward Norton and Tom Hanks were among the famous guests.

The event also featured a Titanic reunion – DiCaprio posed for a selfie with Kate Winslet and Billy Zane, who played her character’s wealthy fiancé.

Leonardo DiCaprio who has recently won an Academy Award for his role in The Revenant has thrown a yacht party together with his long-time friend and fellow thespian, Tobey Maguire in an effort to raise environmental awareness .

The yacht party for the extremely important cause took place in a small luxury charter dubbed as Impromptu Yacht charter, in St. Tropez, in the South of France. The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation was able to raise $30 million and still counting for the protecting of the environment.

This is the fourth annual charity auction that his foundation has launched and counted with the presented of several famous Hollywood stars, including  Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Sean Penn, Tom Hanks, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Penélope Cruz, Uma Thurman and Emma Stone. The auction also had a surprise performance from Madonna and set by Lenny Kravitz. In addition, the event also saw a Titanic reunion between DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Billy Zane.

The auction will continue online and bidding will commence on August 10 and will run until the 23rd, so you still have lots of time to participate and protect the well-being of all Earth’s inhabitants. You can take a look at the items that are going to be auctioned HERE !

Leonardo DiCaprio hung out on a yacht in nothing but a pair of swim trunks as he hung out with bikini-clad beauties and pal Tobey Maguire!

Leonardo DiCaprio is living his best life on a yacht! In a pic you can see below, the Titanic hunk, 48, kicked it on a yacht while vacationing in Saint Tropez in the French Riviera on Thursday, July 21. The Revenant star went shirt free on the luxury vessel, rocking only a pair of blue swim trunks, a medallion, and an additional gold chain. Leo appeared fit and sun kissed, his famous brownish-blonde locks wet and tousled from a dip in the water.

Elsewhere on the boat, his Great Gatsby co-star Tobey Maguire  rocked a black ball cap and a pair of stylish shades, a gray towel wrapped around his shoulders. The Spider-Man actor matched Leo’s vibe in a pair of his own dark-colored swim trunks. A party appeared to be in full swing on the boat, as it was filled with a bevy of beauties having a great time in bikinis.

Though Leo is clearly fond of partying on boats with beautiful women, the summer pics just after Leo reignited rumors of a romance with supermodel Gigi Hadid.  Leo and the blonde bombshell, 28, first touched off speculation in September of 2022, when they were seen hanging out during New York Fashion Week .

After the frenzy died down, however, they were again spotted together at a private party in the Hamptons ahead of the fourth of July. A Page Six source told the outlet that the mom of one appeared to be “thrilled.” “Leo and Gigi were talking to each other,” the source divulged.  “She seemed thrilled. Everyone thought they were together [as a couple].”

The insider continued, stating that a “vibe” was there, though they refrained from any PDA. “The way they were talking to each other,” they recalled. “You could feel the energy.” The late night visit reportedly started with Leo’s arrival at 12:30 and ended with him leaving at 2:00 AM.  Gigi was at the bash for friend Leah McCarthy ’s birthday, according to the July 3 report.

ACTOR Leonardo DiCaprio goes overboard with the fun on his European summer holiday.

The Oscar-winner , 48, made a splash as he plunged off the back of a yacht in the Med.

Titanic, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Revenant star Leo was joined on the trip off the coast of Saint-Tropez, France , by pal Tobey Maguire and some bikini-clad ladies.

The long-time friends soaked up the sunshine over the weekend.

He sported blue shorts and a bit of a belly as he closed his eyes to drop into the sea.

Leonardo and Spider-Man star Tobey, 48, have been friends for more than four decades.

They were in London last month, where Leo partied with Love Island host Maya Jama at Vogue’s summer party.

An insider said: “Leonardo arrived with about eight friends around 1:30am, but spent most of the night sitting in the corner with Gigi once inside.”

Leo had been spotted at exclusive restaurant Le Club 55 last week, where the Wolf of Wall Street actor’s mum joined him for dinner.

Earlier this month, DiCaprio was spotted partying with Maya Jama and Neelam Gill in London - after being linked to both stars.

The actor was seen out and about in the capital.

The trio rubbed shoulders with A-Listers inside Chiltern Firehouse including pop stars  Rita Ora ,  Leigh-Anne Pinnock  and  Ella Eyre , and  Katy Perry ,  Emily Ratajkowski , and Mexican actress  Eiza Gonzalez .

One video filmed inside the exclusive venue captured Maya and Leo chatting at the bar, whilst the Love Island host looked irresistible in a black velvet dress.

Her frock featured a low-cut scoop neck and was trimmed with diamantés, with Maya styling her hair in loose waves.

Neelam looked equally sensational in a sheer body stocking dress.

Maybe for the first time ever?

Leonardo DiCaprio , Oscar-winning actor and climate justice crusader, is also a notorious fan of private jets. Last year, he flew from Cannes to New York to pick up an environmental award at the Riverkeeper Fishermen’s Ball before heading directly back to France for the annual amfAR gala, where he gave a speech—an 8,000-mile round-trip, which prompted Page Six to shout, “ Hypocrite !”

But this year, DiCaprio plans to fly commercial to the fourth annual gala for his eponymous foundation, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which supports efforts to preserve ocean and land habitats, to protect the rights of indigenous peoples, and to remedy climate change. According to Page Six , seemingly the authority on this subject, DiCaprio will forego the private jet for once —while the gala itself, which takes place in Saint-Tropez, will feature a sustainably sourced pescatarian meal.

Last year’s gala, attended by the likes of Doutzen Kroes, Anja Rubik, Joan Smalls, Edward Norton, and more, and with performances by Lana Del Rey and The Weeknd, raked in $45 million to support its various programs. In addition to lending his name to the foundation, he’s also an outspoken supporter of environmental causes: “Climate change is real. It is happening right now, it is the most urgent threat facing our entire species,” DiCaprio said during his acceptance speech for the Academy Award for Best Actor, which he won for his performance in The Revenant.

Since The Revenant premiered two years ago, he’s primarily dedicated himself to producing environmentally oriented documentaries like the Oscar nominee Virunga and Fisher Stevens’s Before the Flood —that is, aside from the two new true-crime thrillers he’s developing with Martin Scorsese . He attended the Climate March earlier this year. And he’s declared himself “CarbonNeutral,” which basically means that he offsets all that airtime in private jets by planting trees in Mexico.

But his prolific use of private jets and other, luxurious modes of travel—he took a cruise on the fifth-largest yacht in the world, owned by an oil tycoon from the United Arab Emirates, to watch the 2014 World Cup—seem like a rebuttal to his climate advocacy. (“ In case you are wondering, neither the jets nor the yacht run on solar power ,” a Forbes contributor wrote last year.) This year, he will bravely go commercial, making a chivalrous gesture towards global warming.

He’s not exempted from planting more trees in Mexico this year, though: As the recent New York magazine cover story of apocalyptic doom noted, “ Every round-trip ticket on flights from New York to London, keep in mind, costs the Arctic three more square meters of ice .”

Just Try to Keep Leonardo DiCaprio Off a Yacht, I Dare You

Did you have a nice little New Year’s holiday? Did you watch the whole of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in one big gulp? Maybe you drove somewhere new since flying is so complicated these days. Off to a ski resort a few hours north as the interstate flies, hm? Spent a couple precious hours on this earth drying out cold, wet socks from the last run down the mountain, maybe? Well, that all sounds lovely, but unfortunately for mere mortals everywhere, it will never be as lovely as what Leonardo DiCaprio is up to. 

Leonardo DiCaprio! He of the movies fame. You know, Titanic. What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Catch Me If You Can. The Revenant. Most recently, the Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up . This guy, would you believe it, was on a yacht. Of course you believe it. This guy loves yachts . The man simply cannot get enough of them. He is like an oenophile, traversing the lands, grabbing up whatever fermented grapes Dionysus has left us down here. Like, if there is a rare and elegant wine, he’s tried it or wants to try it—but with yachts. 

So this week he’s been chartering Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli ’s yacht, which is called Vava II, in St. Barts. The Vava II has its own Wikipedia page . It’s reported to cost $150 million and sleep about 50 guests and crew members, and frankly, that’s a lot for a boat! Those things are on water! 

Friend and capo of the fabled Pussy Posse Lukas Haas was there, as was DiCaprio’s girlfriend, 24-year-old Camila Morrone. Per the Daily Mail , they even went shopping with the editor in chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, which I imagine is something like shooting hoops with LeBron James.  

Before all the shopping and the lounging on deck chairs with Haas and the strolling around St. Barts, DiCaprio celebrated New Year’s on the island alongside Jeff Bezos and partner Lauren Sanchez, Drake, and yacht owner himself Bertarelli. It is where this historic photo was taken.

DiCaprio relaxes in the French Riviera with his girlfriend

The film star took a break from shooting Quentin Tarantino's latest flick, 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood' with Brad Pitt and jetted off to the French Riviera. He was joined by girlfriend Camila Morrone and her mother, Lucila Sola.

They chartered a super luxury yacht, the 81m Air, to sail the waters just off the coast of Saint Tropez. Sleeping up to 12 people in 7 rooms, the vessel has a jacuzzi, gym, swimming pool, spa, cinema, sauna, and even a helipad. The couple headed off for lunch at celeb-favourite Club 55 . Leo is no stranger to Saint-Tropez, in fact, he usually comes here every summer to host the annual charity gala for his Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation .

Grunge icon Courtney Love was also at Club 55. The singer even took a dip in the sea before heading into the beach restaurant for lunch.

Taylor Swift's New Song "The Man" Calls Out Leonardo DiCaprio in Saint Tropez and Sexist Double Standards

Taylor Swift has no time for sexist double-standards about dating, and she's name-checking Leonardo DiCaprio to spotlight all of the inconsistencies. The shout-out to Leo's own romantic history is one of many incredibly good lyrics on "The Man," the fourth track from her latest album, Lover .

In the fierce song, Taylor addresses criticisms that have been thrown at her and other women about their love lives, career choices, and overall behavior, and she reframes certain actions by wondering aloud what would happen if she were a man. When teasing "The Man" in her Vogue September interview, Taylor commented that the song "plays with the idea of perception." "It's a thought experiment of sorts: 'If I had made all the same choices, all the same mistakes, all the same accomplishments, how would it read?'" she said.

The Leo-centric line in "The Man" gets at this idea perfectly. The lyric goes, "And they would toast to me, oh, let the players play / I'd be just like Leo in Saint Tropez." The line jabs at Leo's famed annual Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation gala , held in Saint Tropez, and his habit of vacationing there with his substantially younger girlfriends (while still retaining his respected actor status).

But Taylor, like many female and femme folks, knows that men get a lot of the shine and more than a few passes from society for living their lives however they please. The Leo callout may be the most blatant dig in "The Man," but other lyrics in the song help illustrate this point. Taylor's love life has been a source of contention and scrutiny for as long as she's been a celebrity. The first verse in "The Man" hits on this, pointing out just how different people would treat her for having a series of romantic interests if things were different: "They'd say I played the field before / I found someone to commit to / And that would be okay for me to do / Every conquest I had made would make me more of a boss to you."

Another lyric that hits so, so hard is part of the second verse. Here, Taylor points out how women are frequently judged on an all-or-nothing basis: "What I was wearing, if I was rude / Could all be separated from my good ideas and power moves." Taylor points out that unlike women, men get the benefit of being treated in a more compartmentalized way; how they act doesn't always reflect on the quality or perception of their work.

"The Man" gives women permission to keep challenging sexist double standards, and fans are here for it. Reactions have been positive to the song on Twitter, with fans showing tons of love for the Leo callout. "The Man" might just be the next great T-Swift anthem for female fans everywhere.

Seit jahren gibt er den öko-aktivisten leonardo dicaprio, der klimaschutz-heuchler protz-party auf luxusyacht in st. tropez.

Laut Schätzungen sorgt eine Luxus-Yacht für in etwa 1.500 Mal so viel CO2-Ausstoß wie ein durchschnittliches Familienauto. Doch wenn Party in Frankreich angesagt ist, kann der angeblich ach so arg ums Klima besorgte DiCaprio dann aber offenbar schlecht nein sagen.

Zur Feier geladen hatte Nachtleben-Größe Richie Akiva, der die Angelegenheit im Auftrag des italienisch-schweizerischen Milliardärs Ernesto Bertarelli auf die Beine gestellt hat. Seinen Ruf erhörte nicht nur DiCaprio, sondern auch viele andere XXL-Verdiener und Stars. Rapper Drake (35) soll die ganze Nacht am Mikrofon gestanden haben, berichtet „Page Six“. „Spider-Man“-Schauspieler und Leo-Kumpel Tobey Maguire (47) war sich ebenfalls nicht zu schade für ein bisschen französische Feierei.

Klima-Engagement und Luxus-Yacht-Party: Beißt sich das nicht?

Und Leo? Zwecks Abkühlung angesichts der schönen Yacht-Ladys hüpfte er in seiner dunkelblauen Badehose zwischenzeitlich auch mal ins Wasser und genoss einfach sein Leben als Superreicher.

Wenn er mal nicht gerade Prollo-Party macht, lässt der schöne Mann allerdings gerne den Öko raushängen. So wie beim Klimagipfel in Glasgow Ende 2021, wo Fans ihn direkt belagerten . Der Star aus „Titanic“ ist seit vielen Jahren als engagierter Klimaschützer aktiv. Seine „Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation“ gründete er bereits 1998. Diese setzt sich dafür ein, Naturgebiete zu schützen und nachhaltig mit der Umwelt in Einklang zu leben. Er mischt auch bei zahlreichen weiteren Gruppen mit, wie dem „WWF“ oder dem „International Fund for Animal Welfare“, welche sich für Tierschutz engagieren.

Umso seltsamer für Manche, dass er sich solche Nummern wie auf St. Tropez scheinbar nicht einfach sparen kann. Immerhin hatte er bereits im Januar mit einer ähnlichen Aktion für Wirbel gesorgt . Trotzdem sollte noch einmal deutlich gesagt sein: Niemand kann alles richtig machen. Wichtig ist, das Bewusstsein zu haben und auf seine eigene Weise irgendwo anzufangen. Und das tut Leo seit Jahren – sogar mehr als manch anderer. Da sei ihm auch ein kleiner Öko-Ausrutscher verziehen, wenn er es woanders durch Verzicht und Engagement wieder gut macht. Leonardo at Cannes on board 450ft Megayacht Rising Sun

Yacht aficionado and everyone’s favorite bearded celeb   Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted in  Cannes on one of the World’s Largest Yachts, once again enjoying some rest and relaxation after enjoying the parties and premieres of the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

He was joined by Cape Fear actress and singer   Juliette Lewis , who seemed to enjoy the experience so much, she posted a video of her experience on board !

And Leo still does not appear to have rid himself of his beard yet, that he has been sporting for some time!

They were seen sunbathing out on deck with a few friends and it looked they were having a fantastic time!

Leonardo was not surrounded by the usual harem of ladies this time, but there was one tall, mystery blonde on board who he was spotted talking to. Who knows who the lady is or if there is any romantic involvement? Watch this space!

The beautiful yacht they were on is called the Rising Sun , built for Larry Ellison and recently sold to   film producer, music mogul and billionaire David Geffen.

The yacht measures 453ft (138m) long, making it the 6th largest yacht on the planet. It features a helicopter landing pad, large swimming pool, fully loaded gym, spa, elevator and private movie theatre – ideal for an A-list movie star! It was built in Germany by shipbuilders Lurssen and can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 cabins. It has a full complement of 45 crew members for around the clock service …

Since the yacht is privately owned, and not advertised for charter, Leo and Juliette are no doubt such good buddies of Mr Geffen this vacay was probably free. But just to fill you in, this mega yacht cost a tidy $590 million to build … and to charter a yacht like this would probably be in excess of $3.5 million per week (plus expenses!)

As well as talking shop, Leonardo has also been enjoying the more fun side of the festival, attending various lifestyle events at the festival.

According to industry reports, the Inception star outbid heiress and socialite Paris Hilton on the lot that was a Chanel purse at the Heart Fund’s Generous People Dinner Gala at the InterContinental Carlton Hotel in Cannes.

The bidding war was all very peaceful with Leonardo eventually winning it – and apparently went into the bidding with a view to win it for his mother. It went for over $10,000…
