Mr. Corbin asked Mr. Dufour to increase the freeboard and flush the deck. In 1979, the first Corbin 39 came out of the resulting mold, and the Canadian manufacturer produced 129 Corbins until 1982. Most were sold as kits in varying degrees of completion. In 1982, a fire destroyed the deck molds, but because of continued strong demand, they decided to update the molds and continue production. The last Corbin 39 produced, hull number 199, was launched in 1990. The Corbin 39 is a double ender in the classic Scandinavian lineage of serious offshore cruisers like the Westsail 32. She features a long fin keel of 6 draft, high freeboard, and a blunt bow. Corbin produced various deck molds including flush, pilot, center cockpit, and aft cockpit variations. Corbin

1985 Bluewater Ingrid The Ingrid 38 from the pen of William Atkin is a heavy displacement blue water cutter derived from Colin Archer's famous double ender designed North Sea pilot boats, which in turn were inspired by Viking boats renowned for their heavy weather characteristics. Perhaps Atkin sums it up best by saying it's "the kind of boat that behaves herself in rough water and can be depended upon to sail herself". (To that part we do hear frequent mentions of the superb one-finger-on-tiller tracking and a comfortable ride.) With her old world style, Josette's a good looking boat with a sheer line reminiscent of Crealock's famous Westsail 32. Her seaworthiness is there to see in her full keel, heavy displacement and overbuilt construction. Her hull is heavily hand laid in fiberglass. There's robust outboard chain plates and an outboard rudder protected by extra fiberglass and a large bronze shoe casting should she scrub the bottom. Atkin's main rework on the Ingrid 38 from Archer's original design was finer entry on the bow which 'cushions' her landing off the waves and even may increase speed slightly. Below the waterline she has a long full keel with deep v-sections forward keeping her stable in the rough. The ballast is encapsulated and is distributed from bow to stern, to keep the weight as low as possible. Rounding this off, there's plenty of flotation designed in her ends, fore and aft which helps keep her dry. The trade off of heavy displacement and ultimate stability is usually in speed so the Ingrid 38 is not considered fast. By the numbers, her hull speed works out at 7.2 knots but she'll more often manage a consistent 6 knots while cruising. Surprisingly she's known to sail pretty well in light airs, as owners report she'll do half the wind speed in up to 8 knots of wind. However, she's a boat that comes into her own in heavier seas. The cutter rig gives plenty of options on all points of sail and she's an easy boat to single-hand. Josette is her original name and she has spent most all of her life in fresh water. She only spent one year in salt water in 1985, her original launch year. This is a one-owner vessel. The hull was built in 1974 by Bluewater Yachts in Washington state and it is reported that these are the same builders that build the Nordic Tugs. The interior cabin sides (ceiling) were finished in planking by the original owner. The hull is foam insulated to keep you cool when it is hot outside and warm when it is cold outside. The galley area is a great work space for any type of cooking. The mast is anodized aluminum construction by MetalMast Marine, with internal halyards. The hull is solid fiberglass construction and does have some gel coat surface blisters above the waterline, but they do not appear to be structural. She recently had the following engine work accomplished: new head gasket, two new exhaust valves, injector service,

Poulsbo, Washington

Looking for a solid, comfortable, offshore capable boat that won’t break the bank? This sweet sailing, Crealock designed “World Cruiser” is one you will want to check out. Willard Marine founded in 1957, built only 30 of these Hale Field & Bill Crealock designed, World Cruisers. Willard hired sailboat designer William Crealock to improve on the Westsail 32, using the successful, symmetrical Vega 30 hull mold. This is one of those rare, well built, "8-ton Cutters". She is heavily built, very capable, and has had many major upgrades & updates. She is roomy enough inside to cruise with 4 people, but is easily single handed. The rig’s been replaced (2006/8), and the engine upgraded to the 40hp Yanmar 3j4HF in 2009. There’s a below decks Raymarine ST6002 Autopilot, new Blue Seas panel, Lewmar windlass, and propane heat. Spindrift is a “well-mannered lady”, and backs up better than many newer designs. She has had a recently haul-out and bottom paint, and is offered at well below insured value. Note: The Canadian GST (general services tax) has been paid for Spindrift. This means that a Canadian buyer would NOT have to pay this tax and ALSO an American with extensive cruising plans in BC could leave the boat at a Canadian port as long as they wanted (i.e. no 12 month limit). Advance arrangements are necessary for all showings

Westsail 32

...the boat that launched a thousand dreams..

Pricing: $45,000... I AM READY TO SELL THIS BOAT, SO MAKE ME AN OFFER. I WILL CONSIDER ALL OFFERS.

20201006_091819.jpg

Contact email: [email protected]    Overview The Westsail 32 goes down in history as the boat that launched a thousand dreams. She's generally credited for starting the cruising boom of the 1970s which brought "the cruising life" out of the fringes and into the mainstream.   Designed by Bill Crealock as a heavy displacement double ender for long distance cruising, this boat is the epitome of seaworthiness; built strong and heavy with huge interior volume. The Westsail 32, "Westsail the world" was the advertising mantra, oozing adventure in far away places. So successful was the marketing campaign that by June of 1973 Time Magazine featured a four page spread on "the cruising life" including a large image of a Westsail 32 in a suitably exotic location. It caught the imagination of the American public. The boat sold in incredible numbers, and along the way set in stone the shape and style of American bluewater cruising boats for nearly two decades.   In total 830 boats were produced by Westsail. To keep up with demand around 400 of these boats were sold as hull and deck kits; requiring interior finishing by their respective purchasers. Kits were sold in various stages of completion; Hull and Deck, Sail-Away, and a complete boat. With kits, owners could add any option they felt they wanted including ballast, bulkheads, rigging, etc. (THIS WESTSAIL, HULL #:252 IS A KIT THAT WAS COMPLETED WITH PLENTY OF BEAUTIFUL TEAK.) Construction The hull is heavily built from hand-laid fiberglass in 12 layers with polyester resin resulting in a hull that ranges from 3/4 inch near the topsides to 1 1/8 inches at the turn of the bilge. The 3/4" bulkheads are marine plywood and tabbed to the hull with fiberglass. Ballast varied between boats, but always with at least 7,000 pounds. Some had 2,000 pounds of lead and 5,000 pounds of steel punchings. From 1974, cast lead was used in the keel cavity in three sections. One can easily tell the lead ballast because the keel sump is much deeper under the engine pan. The deck and cabin trunk is fiberglass cored with two layers of half inch plywood, with an extra two inch plywood base to reinforce below the mast step.    The Westsail 32 has a reputation for getting cruisers where they want to go, though not very quickly. According to most owners this is falsely deserved. I have sailed this boat in 25 to 30 knot winds, through 15 foot seas and she handles effortlessly. Motion through the water is incredibly comfortable and sailing is a confident and secure experience. Look for a boat that has 35 hp or more, the original 25hp Volvo MD2B is often reported as insufficient for a distance motoring into adverse weather. (THIS WESTSAIL HAS A WESTERBEKE 38b4 DIESEL ENGINE)

Lagoon 40 on mooring

The brokerage team at Lyman-Morse sends word that it has listed the Lagoon 40 Currach for sale with an asking price of $469,000.

Currach is a 2019 build that is located in South Portland, Maine, and that has reportedly been “lightly used in New England waters” by a single owner since its launch.

Lagoon 40 heading out

The layout aboard Currach dedicates the entire portside hull to an owners’ stateroom with a queen-size berth, a head with a separate enclosed shower, hanging lockers, and a desk and chair.

In the starboard hull, there are two guest staterooms that share a head with a stall shower between them. For surprise guests who are joining the cruising fun for a few nights on board, the table in the main salon lowers to create a double berth.

Lagoon 40 leaving the dock

The main salon is outfitted with a galley, navigation station, flat-screen television, and dining table that seats at least six people. There’s a second dining table, along with lounge space, abaft the enclosed pilothouse. The sole in the cockpit on the main deck is teak.

Key specs include a 22,000-pound displacement, a beam of 22 feet, 2 inches, and a draft of 4 feet, 5 inches. Power is provided by a pair of 45 hp Yanmar 4JH45 SDs that allow for a cruising speed of 7 knots and a top hop of 8.3 knots, according to the brokerage house.

Lyman-Morse’s team describes the boat as being in “excellent condition.” The interior is outfitted with the Alpi walnut wood option, and the helm station is protected by a canvas Bimini top. There are B&G electronics at the helm, which has an autopilot, radar and GPS chartplotter.

Factors Affecting Cost

Buying a yacht in Russia is a rather time-consuming and lengthy process that requires the participation of professional yacht brokers. Depending on the condition of the vessel, the year of manufacture, the quality of its equipment, class and size, the acquisition cost can vary greatly. There are several indicators on which the cost of buying a yacht will depend :

  • Manufacturer, or shipyard - the most famous manufacturers with expensive products are concentrated mainly in European countries, and the most budget yachts are assembled in shipyards of the countries of Asia and the Middle East;
  • Equipment - sometimes the internal filling is made to order, and in some cases it is standard equipment with less power, comfort, speed, etc. In this regard, the cost of ships even from one manufacturer can vary greatly;
  • Ship design;
  • The age of the yacht.

Also, sailing yachts for sale in Russia cost the buyer less than similar motor lengths, but yachts with a history do not always cost less than recently launched ones. Often, the previous owners are engaged in the modernization of the vessel, installing expensive additional equipment on it or customizing the yacht - in this case, the price for it increases significantly. And sailing yachts often participate in regattas, where they can take prizes and eventually acquire a name - this also leads to a rise in the cost of the vessel.

Note that the cost of a yacht in Russia will be significantly different depending on the length of the vessel. You can always check the final cost of the vessel with a yacht broker, and since this market is very lively, the price can change even during the time during which you pick up a yacht.

You can find out the price of the selected vessel and its technical parameters in our catalog, and you can leave a request for purchase directly on the website, online. To choose a yacht for purchase , you can use the help of our broker for the sale of yachts - our specialists are in collaboration with their colleagues around the world to be able to cover the entire market. Ask our manager your questions to get detailed information on the yacht you are interested in.

We wish you success in conducting transactions on the yacht market!

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Jennifer Lopez is living her best hot girl summer.

The singer, 54, was spotted taking a few sultry selfies — including of her famous “ big booty ” — while on a luxurious boat off the coast of Italy on Thursday amid  rumors she has split from her husband, Ben Affleck .

Lopez looked ethereal while sporting a white, plunging, one-piece bathing suit that perfectly hugged her curves in photos obtained by Page Six.

She accessorized the fresh look with round sunglasses, gold hoops, a necklace and matching gold bracelets. She also donned white sandals and styled her hair in a high ponytail.

At one point, she carried a straw bag and her brown two-piece cover-up, which she had slipped off as soon as she got on the boat.

Most notably, Lopez rocked her engagement and wedding rings from Affleck, 51, despite going on the Italian getaway solo .

In the pics, the mom of two could be seen first getting on the boat with her friends before they had an impromptu dance party.

She later stripped down to her bathing suit before posing for a few photos and selfies. She also turned the camera on her friends as they danced and stuck out their tongues.

The “Jenny from the Block” singer could also be seen adjusting her bathing suit while chatting with friends before sitting back with a glass of bubbly in one hand and her phone in the other.

In between all the fun, Lopez was photographed sitting in a corner of the boat, looking into the distance and biting her thumb.

Her Italian getaway comes after Affleck spent Father’s Day with his ex-wife , Jennifer Garner, and their three children : Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

The “13 Going on 30” actress, 52, was seen walking into her ex-husband’s house Sunday before he drove her back home a few hours later.

Despite not sharing any children together and being absent from the low-key visit, Lopez did pay tribute to Affleck on Father’s Day with an Instagram post.

She shares twins Max and Emme, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

For the past two months, Affleck and Lopez have been plagued with split rumors since the singer attended the Met Gala on her own .

A few days after the May 6 event, it was revealed that the couple — who tied the knot in July 2022 — had been staying in separate homes , further fueling rumors that there was trouble in paradise.

Since then, the couple has only been seen together a handful of times , and during Samuel’s graduation party, they maintained their distance .

Although the two have tried to keep the rumors at bay, a music industry insider told the Daily Mail that Lopez feels she has done all she can to save their troubled marriage.

“Jenny has had enough, and she really tried, but she can do no more. It’s not getting any better; it’s worse,” they said.

Another insider claimed J.Lo is tired of taking the blame for the impending demise of their relationship, saying, “Ben is a great guy, but he can be grumpy and a downer. I think the world saw that in photos like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn’t smile . If they saw how it really was, they would not attack her.

“He chain-smokes and cusses and seems irritated a lot of the time. Great director and actor, but not a lot of laughs with him, you know?” the source continued, adding that the “Gone Girl” star “is a wonderful father, though.”

In an interview that aired Thursday, Affleck touched on his marriage to Lopez, calling her level of fame “f–king bananas.”

“We went somewhere with [Jennifer]—I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this—people love her, and she really represents something important to people,” he told Kevin Hart, who hosts the  “Hart to Heart” talk show .

Jennifer Lopez and Ben affleck

“[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘AAAHHHH! J-LO!’” he yelled. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”

Affleck also talked about his infamous facial expressions, explaining that he comes across as frustrated in photos because he’s “a little bit shy.”

“I don’t like a lot of attention. This is why people see me and they’re like, ‘Why is this dude always mad?’ Because someone had their camera sticking in my face, and I’m like, ‘OK, here we go.’”

China Sinks U.S. Red Sea-Based Ticonderoga-Class Cruiser with Fire Dragon Missiles in Recent Simulation

C hina has conducted another mock attack on a United States military asset with missiles, and this time it is a Ticonderoga-Class Battle Cruiser currently on patrol in the Red Sea .

Knewz.com has learned that the purported computer simulation and ensuing paper, found it would take at least six of the Asian superpower's Fire Dragon projectiles to sink a warship like the USS Philippine Sea .

The model involved firing 12 projectiles and using low-precision satellite photos to identify the general locations of the mockup U.S. naval assets. As the projectiles neared their targets, they recalibrated their courses to match the vessels' exact positions.

According to the Eurasian Times , the exercise factored in said vessels’ defensive capabilities including the radar-guided Phalanx cannon with its 4,500 per minute rate of fire—and despite this potent feature, one of the US vessels sank.

A report on the simulation indicated that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China ’s experiment also used versions of the Fire Dragon missile fitted with six drones apiece, which in a real combat scenario, would be used to confuse a ship’s radar and divert firepower while the real explosive honed in.

The results of this simulation were purported as an even greater success because none of the simulated ships survived.

According to the Business Standard , the projectile is no state secret and is produced exclusively for export by the country’s North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO).

It weighs 880 lbs according to the South China Morning Post , and has a high degree of accuracy.

Additionally, its impact velocity exceeds 1,640 feet per second.

According to Li Jiangjiang, senior author of the paper, it would take two of the warheads to destroy a 10,000-tonne (the weight of the Ticonderoga-Class Cruiser) warship.

Thus far, only one known sale (worth $245 million) has been made, and it was to the United Arab Emirates.

The Ticonderoga-Class vessels, on the other hand, were first commissioned in 1981 as destroyers but due to their enhanced firepower were designated cruisers.

The last vessel was built in 1994 and of the 27 existing units, 13 remain in service.

Despite the alleged results of the Chinese experiment, Ticonderoga-Class cruisers make formidable adversaries.

They comprise a variety of mechanisms (offensive and defensive) including the PY-1A-powered AEGIS weapon system that automatically tracks threats and targets entities beyond 200 miles.

In addition to the latter, per National Interest , the ships carry up to 80 surface-to-air missiles (SAMs), 16 anti-submarine rockets, and 26 Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Making this ordinance even more lethal are two Mk-41 Vertical Launching Systems (VLS), which allow the vessel to store all its missiles in standby mode.

As noted by the Chinese paper, the Ticonderoga-Class vessels also carry two Phalanx cannons, two machine guns, and two torpedo tubes, and can accommodate two Seahawk helicopters.

The U.S. is yet to comment on the test—but notably, it is not the first time China’s training for attacks on American assets has become public.

In January 2024, Knewz.com reported on satellite images of structures closely resembling the supercarrier Gerald Ford in the country’s Taklamakan Desert.

More recently, satellites captured another dessert-bound mockup. This time, of the Taiwanese parliamentary buildings.

This sighting led to speculation among experts that a Chinese attack on the breakaway island democracy would be very different from what many expect—and it could all be over 30 minutes .
