Founded in 1998, Ofek Yachts is totally involved in the various related sailing businesses with the main emphasis on yacht sales, brokerage, and services. Being a leader in the marine business in Israel, Ofek Yachts has been chosen by leading shipyards to be their exclusive dealers in Israel.

We have been the exclusive importers of the German shipyard "Bavaria Yachts" in Israel since 1998 for both Bavaria Yachts' Sailboats and Powerboats. Since 2012 Ofek Yachts are the exclusive importers of the most iconic French shipyard - Dufour Yachts for sailboats and catamarans and Since 2014 we have been the exclusive Israeli importers of the top-tier French catamaran shipyard Nautitech. Our most recent addition to our family of sailing yachts brands is German "Y Yachts" by Micheal Schmidt with the most exciting line-up of fully carbon super yachts aimed at the avid sailor who appreciates both technically advanced sailing yachts but at the same time the simplicity of sailing and being able to short-hand sailing a 70+ ft sailboat. As part of our expansion strategy, in 2019 Ofek Yachts became the Israeli importer of Highfield Boats - the leading RIB manufacturer that in 10 years took the world of RIBs by storm with their high quality, innovative Aluminum hull RIBs.  Ofek Yachts is providing also boat services - everything from shipyard and technical services through installation of electronics, rigging, commissioning and maintenance services. Our shipyard is located in Herzliya Marina and is an official point of service for all Bavaria, Dufour and Nautitech sailing yachts as well as providing our top professional services for all other brands of ships.  

Understanding the market and our clients' needs, we offer brokerage services as part of our 360-degree philosophy of being able to help each customer find the right yacht for him in any budget and let our customers and yacht owners the peace of mind of knowing that come the time for an upgrade or selling their boat - they can rest assured that they are in good hands. Our main offices are located in Marina Herzliya. Mr. Yehuda Sommer, CEO and founder of Ofek Yachts, is one of the prominent senior representatives of the sailing business in Israel with vast experience. Yehuda is also a highly experienced sailor for over 40 years and a record holder 3 years in a row 2006-2008 of the Isreali Sailing Championship.
