Per Alpha Yachts è arrivato il momento della firma per l’acquisto dei terreni a Monfalcone
La costruzione permetterà già da inizio attività la realizzazione di due maxi yacht per volta
E’ stata annunciata in una conferenza stampa la data della firma per l’acquisto da parte di Alpha Yachts del terreno di Monfalcone situato lungo il Canale Est Ovest, già preannunciato nel luglio 2023, dove sarà costruito il sito produttivo del cantiere messicano.
La data della firma del contratto fra Coseveg – Consorzio di Sviluppo Economico della Venezia Giulia e Alpha Yachts, informano i media locali, è fissata per il 14 marzo.
Nella conferenza stampa l’amministratore unico di Alpha Yacht Srl, Angelo Guazzotti, ha ricordato che il cantiere costruttore di superyacht dai 30 ai 50 metri, creato dai fratelli Jorge e Roberto Aboumrad, ha selezionato Monfalcone per la sua posizione sul canale, recentemente approfondito a -3,7 metri, e per l’intesa con il Comune relativamente alle modifiche necessarie del piano regolatore che consentiranno altezze dei capannoni adeguate alle necessità produttive.
All’azienda, si apprende, sono stati inoltre accordati fondi regionali per supportare lo sviluppo di questa sede che riuscirà a produrre, già da inizio attività, due maxi yacht alla volta. Sotto il profilo dell’occupazione nella prima fase di attività sono previste 15 assunzioni mentre con l’incremento dell’indotto previsto nel tempo si ipotizzano oltre 200 posti.
Monfalcone conta già 24 imprese nel settore della nautica, che impiegano circa 1.500 addetti e – come hanno spiegato i vertici del Comune alla conferenza – mira a diventare sempre più centro di attrazione regionale per medie e piccole imprese di questo settore rispondendo fattivamente alle loro richieste dal lato degli adeguamenti urbanistici e supportandole nell’avvio delle attività con la collaborazione della Regione e del Consorzio.
Monfalcone, che dispone di 18,5 km di costa, più di 3 km di coste su acque interne ed oltre 3 mila posti barca, sta infatti attualmente investendo da fondi pubblici oltre 9 milioni di euro nel settore diretto della nautica da diporto. Le aree di azione riguardano il Canale Est Ovest, la Marina Julia, il Bacino di Panzano e il Canale Valentinis.
L’area acquisita da Alpha Yachts ha una superficie complessiva di 18 mila metri quadrati fra unità produttiva e capannoni. I lavori partiranno nel 2024.

Third Alpha Custom Yachts 30m Squalo 100 moves to outfitting
The third hull in Alpha Custom Yachts ' Squalo 100 line has moved to the shipyard's facility in Fano, Italy, for outfitting. The 29.6-metre is scheduled for delivery in 2024.
Deriving from the Italian word for shark, the Squalo 100 embodies an “alpha male” shark exterior by Roberto Curtò Design , who is also responsible for the yacht's interior, while naval architecture is the work of Massimo Verme .
Accommodation on the tri-deck yacht will be for up to 10 people across five cabins, with further provisions for a crew of five. The master cabin is located on the main deck, providing access to primary living areas, including a spacious full-beam saloon to enhance relaxation and socialising.
Further design highlights include the use of floating walls, floors and ceilings to enhance stability and reduce noise for a smooth and quiet journey. The galley will also feature state-of-the-art appliances with industrial-grade appliances and temperature control systems.
The GRP yacht is powered by a pair of MAN engines and can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots with a cruising speed of 13.5 knots.
According to BOATPro , Alpha Custom Yachts currently has six yachts in build.
