A five-star experience, I must say! Captain Bertrand was an incredible host, a true bon vivant, and an absolute master in the kitchen. We snorkeled, paddleboarded, and swam in stunning locations, far from the  crowds. We were even fortunate enough to encounter some tortues sauvages along the way. The boat is in excellent condition, and the crew members are exceptionally accommodating. I highly recommend it if you are seeking a private charter with great value. C'est magnifique!

Highlight of our vacation

We went out on the moana boat on November 7 th with 15 friends and it was perfect, just as all the other reviews have said, Patrick and his crew were excellent!

Everyone with our group and I mean everyone said it was the best part of their vacation. I think cooking the food  menu on board added a special touch and it was wonderful.

You must arrive on your own  (transportation to and from the dock is not included in the tour price) ask if you need one,  at Carretera, Carr. a Punta Sam, Puerto Juarez, 77500 Cancún, 30 minutes before the tour to register

Additional hour price USD 250. There is a price per additional person fee of USD 60 for every person after 12." You may add a Mexican snack service to your tour for an additional $12 per person

Does it includes transportation from my hotel?

No, transportation is not included. You can add transportation from your hotel to the departure point, by easily selecting any of the prompt options to “Add Transportation to Tour” throughout the purchase process. We highly recommend selecting this option as the van pick you at your hotel lobby and transfer you directly to the boat departure point.

Are there any vegetarian options?

The buffet we offer has salads, vegetables, and fruits available. At the moment we do not offer a full vegan or vegetarian menu, but please write down in the comment section if you are vegan, vegetarian, or allergic to any ingredients.

What happens if there is bad weather the day of the tour?

Rain does not affect the tour, all tours will continue as scheduled, however, due to safety issues, the snorkeling activity will be canceled if the weather is too rough to swim. But, If port authorities close the boat's navigation due to strong wind predictions, the tour can be rescheduled or canceled. If canceled due to the port authorities' instructions, customers will be entitled to a full refund.

The service was just fine. Everyone was very nice. However, it was definitely a "drunken co-ed" vibe, and that was just not what we were looking for. Loud music, and a guy dressed up in a bra and wig pouring shots into people's mouths on the way back. That's not our vibe, but if that's what you're looking for... The sea was quite choppy where we were let out to snorkel. Obviously, they can't control that, but it was so rough you really couldn't see anything. We were quite rushed, and they only provided masks and snorkels, no fins (they did provide life vests). I had my own equipment, including fins, and I actually had to help a lady who was starting to panic, as she was swallowing. I had to grab her and tow her in as the guides were yelling at us to hurry up. Finally a guide came back and helped. Not a super great experience. The beach club was ok. The food was mediocre, but that's to be expected. The beach area was crowded and smelled of raw sewage.

Booking and payment for the day trip to Isla Mujares was easy. But the prepaid, prearranged transportation to the marina was late picking us up at our resort and dropped us off at the wrong marina!! We felt like we were asked to pay more to get to the correct launch point and boat. Luckily the tour operator was also operating at this marina and was able to add us onto a departing boat for the day, with only 15 minutes to spare! Otherwise, we would have missed our boat. But the tour operator was great, and the day went well from there. Lunch on the island was a little chaotic, with hundreds of other tours congregating at the same lunch spot.

Ultramar, the main ferry company on the Cancun-Isla Mujeres route, has departures from piers such as Puerto Juarez, Playa Caracol and Playa Tortugas, and from Punta Sam for vehicle crossings.

Puerto Juárez is the most recommended option for passenger-only transportation, with ferries every half hour, from to 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. , and return services until midnight. Adult tickets cost approximately 270 pesos per route (about 17 USD ), and you can book them online or buy them at the port.

If you are far from Puerto Juarez, you can take a cab to get to the pier. Another option is public transportation, although it is a bit more complicated. From Caracol Beach and Tortugas Beach , ferries have less frequency and slightly higher prices, but are still a good option if you are close by and can walk or take a bus.

Arriving at Cancun Airport and want to go directly to Isla Mujeres? You can take a cab or Uber to Puerto Juarez. Another option is to book a transfer that takes you directly to the port, where a driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it.
