History of Shipman
Shipman Yachts has its origins in the 1960s when it was initially established in Sweden. The company was founded by Olle Enderlein, a Swedish naval architect and renowned yacht designer, who teamed up with Swedish industrialist and sailor, Sven Johansson. Johansson's vision, coupled with Enderlein's expertise in yacht design, led to the creation of the first Shipman 28, which became a tremendous success and set the tone for future models. The early focus on combining traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques allowed Shipman Yachts to produce high-quality, seaworthy sailing vessels that appealed to a broad range of sailors.Over the years, Shipman evolved and expanded its range to include a variety of sailing yachts, maintaining its reputation for performance and elegance.
