International One Up Primer Undercoat 750ml
A two-in-one primer and undercoat for use above the waterline with traditional single pack top coat paints such as International Toplac Plus.
International One Up Primer Undercoat - White
International one up primer undercoat - blue/grey.
International One Up Primer Undercoat is a new two-in-one primer and undercoat for use above the waterline with traditional single pack topcoat paints such as International Toplac Plus and International Interdeck .
International One Up is a simple, yet effective primer and undercoat in one tin, making painting easier for DIY customers, without compromising on aesthetic appearance or substrate protection. It is extremely easy to apply with a brush or roller leaving an extra smooth finish.
Thinning of One Up Primer Undercoat is not usually required, however, it can be thinned up to 10% if required using Thinners No.1 .
One Up primer and undercoat is suitable for use on most materials, such as fibreglass & GRP, gelcoat and wood.
International One Up Primer Undercoat Typical Applications
It is recommended to use at least 2 coats of International One Up before applying the topcoat. For GRP/Gelcoat 2 coats should be enough, for aluminium and steel 3 coats are recommended and for wood, at least 4 coats are recommended.
International One Up Sizes & Colours
International One Up is available in white in 375ml tins , 750ml tins and 2.5L tins and in blue/grey in 750ml tins only.
International One Up Primer Undercoat Replaces International Pre-Kote & Yacht Primer
International One Up Primer Undercoat is a brand new primer undercoat, being introduced in October 2021 in order to replace International Pre-Kote and International Yacht Primer , it can be used as both a primer and an undercoat as required.
International are changing their primers and undercoats as some of the chemicals currently used in Pre-Kote and Yacht Primer are being banned for use by DIY customers.
As with International Pre-Kote, International One Up is available in both white and blue/grey colours.

Interprotect Primers High Performance Epoxy Primer for Steel, Aluminium and Wood PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Quick drying, easy to apply epoxy primer for high performance protection. * Excellent anticorrosive protection * Antifouling tiecoat for use over epoxy primers * Good abrasion resistance PRODUCT INFORMATION Colour Specific Gravity Volume Solids Converter/Curing Agent Typical Shelf Life Unit Size DRYING/OVERCOATING INFORMATION Drying 5°C (41°F) Perfection Undercoat Note: For all other International antifoulings such as Cruiser Uno EU, Boatguard EU, Ultra EU, Cruiser Polishing Antifouling, Cruiser Premium Plus, Micron Superior, Micron Extra EU, Navigator, Ultra 300, Boatguard 100, Cruiser 200/250, Trilux 200 and Trilux Hard Antifouling, use the Micron 350 overcoating times. Overcoating times relate to Brush/Roller application. If maximum overcoating time is exceeded, sand with 180220 grade wet or dry paper. STEEL Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Gritblast to Sa 2½ near white metal surface. If gritblasting is not possible, grind the metal surface with 2436 grit abrasive discs to a uniform, clean, bright metal surface with a 5075 microns anchor pattern. Use angle grinder on small areas. ALUMINIUM Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Sand well using 24120 grade (aluminium compatible) paper. Coarser grades are recommended to achieve optimum adhesion. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Prime using a recommended International primer as soon as possible (within 8 hours) as detailed for specific coating systems. ZINC/GALVANISED STEEL Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Sand well using 60120 grade paper. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry completely. Prime using a recommended International primer as soon as possible (within 8 hours) as detailed for specific coating systems. STAINLESS STEEL Light gritblast to produce a profile of 50 microns. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry completely. Prime using a recommended International primer as soon as possible (within 8 hours) as detailed for specific coating systems. LEAD Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Sand well using 120 grade paper or power wire brush Clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Prime using a recommended International primer as soon as possible (within 8 hours) as detailed for specific coating systems. Interprime 820 High Performance Epoxy Primer Interprime 820 is a high performance two-component epoxy- amine primer and one of the very key products in International's Professional Paint Systems. Interprime 820 is specially formulated to suit the requirements of an anticorrosive holding primer as well as a sealer primer.

Re: Difference between international pre-kote and yacht primer. Most one-part marine primers, regardless of brand, are pretty much the same. Two-part primers are usually epoxy-based and far more protective and durable, but will not offer the same level of protection that a good first soak in penetrating epoxy will give.
