The beautiful Barnegat Bay surrounds this gorgeous Long Beach Island estate. There is nothing more romantic than exchanging vows in front of a stacked stone fireplace. The feeling of intimacy is augmented by the presence of loved ones, the soft glow of candles and a crisp ocean breeze. If you prefer an al fresco ceremony, exchange vows out on the lush lawn under the warmth of the golden sun. The gothic sanctuary is an outdoor plaza with grand archways and ornate ceilings that evoke a sense of Old-World Charm. This space is a great location for cocktail hour as your guests mingle, enjoying cocktails, appetizers, and a coastal breeze. Your wedding celebration reaches its peak with a grand reception in the club’s elegant and lavish ballroom. Tiffany blue ceilings and romantic cove lighting set the stage for an enchanting evening. After dinner, French doors lead into a scenic atrium where you and your guests can dance the night away under a sparkling array of romantic lighting. One of the oldest yacht clubs in the United States, BHYC has hosted wonderful parties in spectacular surroundings for over 125 years, with unparalleled views of Barnegat Bay, attentive service from our dedicated staff and the special flavor of historic Bay Head, nestled between the ocean and the bay.

BHYC offers different venues to reflect your party's style and guest list. The Club’s Ballroom accommodates large receptions and cocktail parties. Overnight and 5 hour rental packages, plan your perfect wedding, two rental options to suit your needs.

Mallard Island Yacht Club has a site fee to reserve the estate and a separate fee from the exclusive caterer for all food and beverage.  For the site fee you have two options to reserve the estate, renting the entire estate or renting the estate for a five-hour event plus the onsite ceremony in the Boathouse Chapel. The site fee includes use of the estate, the tables and chairs that are in the Ballroom for your reception, and the chapel if you wish to have your ceremony on property.
