67m DRIZZLE yacht was built by master shipbuilders, Feadship , featuring an exterior design by De Voogt Naval Architects.

The $80 million superyacht was delivered to the experienced yacht owners in 2012, replacing their yacht of the same name.

Her interior is designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon , with a comfortable and homely style. She can accommodate ten guests in a master suite, three double staterooms, and a twin cabin.

The outdoor spaces of the DRIZZLE yacht offer al fresco dining and a spacious sun deck for relaxation and rejuvenation. Across three decks, there are multiple spaces for leisure and entertainment.

She features a deck jacuzzi and a deck that wraps around the yacht. There are three seating and lounging areas across the yacht.

In 2019, a full-length swim platform was fixed to the DRIZZLE yacht with a shower and a swim ladder. The crew quarters are impressive and include a separate and fully enclosed lounge and crew mess.

The owner was particularly concerned for the crew’s welfare and insisted on high-quality finishing to optimize their comfort.

Feadship De Voogt Naval Architect penned the exterior design and naval architecture of the DRIZZLE. The low profile of the DRIZZLE yacht enhances the contemporary lines of the yacht.

She was built by Feadship in their Aalsmeer shipyard in the Netherlands, featuring a steel hull, teak decks, and aluminum superstructure.

Feadship delivered DRIZZLE in 2012, and she was last refitted extensively in 2019.

Specifications

The DRIZZLE yacht has a length of 67m, a beam of 11.2m, and a draft of 3.65m. She has a volume of 1274 gross tons, and 2 MTU engines drive her through the water.

She maintains a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 16 knots, with a range of 4500 nautical miles.

She is built to Lloyds Register classification society rules and is MCA Compliant. DRIZZLE has a $5 – $8 million running cost per year.

A Summary of Motor Yacht DRIZZLE

Feadship completed motor yacht DRIZZLE in 2005. The yacht can be categorised as having been built within the Netherlands. DRIZZLE is a yacht which had naval architecture and design created by De Voogt Naval Architects and De Voogt Naval Architects. This superyacht DRIZZLE can accommodate overnight the sum total of 10 aboard and in addition to 14 operating crew. Build & Designing for Luxury Yacht DRIZZLE

De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architecture company involved in the professional vessel composition for DRIZZLE. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects expertly collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Redman Whiteley Dixon / Todhunter Earle Interiors was responsible for the creative internal ambience. In 2005 she was actually launched to triumph in Aalsmeer and post sea trials and finishing touches was then delivered to the owner. The Feadship De Vries Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. The hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated extensively using aluminium. With a width of 10 m / 32.8 ft DRIZZLE has spacious room. She has a fairly deep draught of 3.1m (10.2ft). She had refit maintenance and changes undertaken in 2009.

The Main Engines And The Speed/Range That M/Y DRIZZLE Can Reach:

The 3512B DITA engine powering the yacht is built by CATERPILLAR. For propulsion DRIZZLE has twin screw propellers. The main engine of the yacht produces 1500 horse power (or 1119 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The sum power for the yacht is accordingly 3000 HP / 2238 KW. As for stabalisers she uses Koopnautic X2.

Offering cabins for a limit of 10 visiting passengers spending the night, the DRIZZLE accommodates everyone in luxury. This ship carries around 14 expert qualified crew to manage.

Caterpillar C4.4 DITA emergency generator (107kVA) with dedicated fuel tank. Stabilizers: Quantum zero speed. Steering gear: Rolls Royce rotary Vein - split system. Bow Thruster: Voith (200kW) variable speed rim thruster. Fuel / Water Separator: Westfalia OSD2-02-137. Bilge Water Separator: 500 litres/hour. Watermaker: 2 reverse osmosis -(44,000 litres per day total combined). Water treatment: HEM FWS 3300 pre-filter, active carbon filter, silver ion sterilizer, flow counters. Water softener (HEMK60) installed in shore water connection. Three stainless steel pressure pumps are installed. Electric Boilers: 3x (ACV E-Tech 22kW) are used for hot water and installed in a continuously circulated loop. Black/Grey Water Treatment: Rochem Bio Filt 02/06-5. Air Conditioning: Heinen and Hopman marine air-conditioning and heating plant (4x compressors) installed with centrally ducted air throughout the vessel. 2x Kaeser SX6 screw compressors used for air whistle and service air.
