The TMC brokerage office in Grenada is conveniently located in the deep harbor of Prickly Bay. In addition to the yacht services offered, there is easy access to haul out yards, marine stores, public transportation, restaurants, entertainment and beaches! We can assist clients with a full scope of services from repairs to haul out, and of course, brokerage, all operated by Broker Chris Rundlett and his partner Chrystal Young. Mooring balls and guardianage are also available exclusively to our TMC sellers!

Chris Rundlett began sailing from a very young age and started his career in the marine industry by moving from the Pacific Northwest to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and opening his business, LTD Sailing School, in 2008. As the years passed and his business grew, he found that the perfect way to do so would be through a relocation to the burgeoning island of Grenada. Chrystal Young

After working several years on the island and through a chance encounter with TMC Founder Phil Berman, Chris began working with TMC as Phil believed Chris possessed all the necessary characteristics and abilities to become an excellent broker: Hard-working, highly ethical, and always willing to put the customer’s needs ahead of his own.

Chrystal started sailing with Chris in 2004 on Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho on a 35′ Hunter “Gabiano”.  Their five-year plan to quit the rat race and start living the dream took a few more years but, in 2013, they sold everything they owned, moved to the Caribbean and launched LTD Sailing School. As owners of the LTD Sailing School, Chris and Chrystal offer a wealth of services, ranging from sailing lessons and service to yacht management! In addition to brokering and providing services through LTD, Chrystal is also the “Voice of Grenada” on Channel 66 International every Friday morning at 7:30 am.

Located on the Southwest side of the island in the Lance Aux Espines neighborhood at Prickly Bay Marina at 12.00 North, 61, 45 West, The TMC offices are nestled safely outside the hurricane belt. I bought a yacht that I had never seen. I did this because I trusted my broker Andrew Holland. It was not an easy job for Andrew, as I am an experienced boat builder and owner of previous yachts, but work in West Africa. Imagine how hard it was to communicate what I was looking for. Andrew came up with exactly what I wanted. He dealt with time delays, all my questions at odd hours, and was there for the survey. He reported honestly and professionally. After buying the yacht, I arrived at the boat on a Sunday night, after dark, after travelling from West Africa to the Caribbean, and found it was better than expected. I expected to spend my one month leave working on the boat, but actually spent less than one week, and was able to spend 3 weeks sailing – wonderful bonus.

James Pascall is co-owner of Horizon Yachts Grenada and works as Project Manager, coordinating the engineering team and other service providers in Grenada. Gary is the  Yacht Sales Manager.  Arriving in Grenada in 2015, the family fell in love with the warm hospitality of the people, the vibrant music scene and the perfect sailing. With his extensive knowledge of yacht systems, racing, cruising and sales and marketing, Gary loves the marine business and helping clients find the yacht of their dreams.

Jacqui is the co-owner of Horizon Yachts Grenada and Horizon Yacht Charters, St Vincent. Whilst she has always worked behind the scenes doing all things financial, she recently took on the “hands-on” role of Sales Associate, helping clients who want to sell their yachts and assisting with yacht viewings.  Jacqui has worked in the sailing industry in Grenada for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge.

Steve has been involved in the Marine Industry for most of his life. After ‘retiring’  he focused his attention full time to all things marine; sailing both the Atlantic and the Pacific before skippering a luxury charter yacht through the Caribbean islands for 6 years.  He is a  Commercial Yachtmaster (Offshore) skipper,  and has an MCA Approved Engineering qualification. He lives on the island of Carriacou,  and is the Horizon Yachts representative there

Meet the Team

Alex has logged over 100,000 miles sailing worldwide on a variety of vessels. He is the proprietor of Grenada Bluewater Sailing , the top RYA Training Centre in Grenada. Alex holds a commercially endorsed RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Certificate of Competence, current ENG1, and is a PADI AOW diver. Alex has lived and worked in Grenada for over 10 years.

Michael is a confident, hardworking and organised individual. He always strives to deliver to the highest standard which is reflected in his excellent references. Michael served for 8 years in the British Army, and was promoted early due to his self-motivation, positive mindset and passion for excellence. He has since moved home to Grenada and has undertaken his RYA sail training up to professional Yachtmaster level with Grenada Bluewater Sailing. Michael also attended University in the UK studying Business and Management, and Logistics Operations Management. He also has an AWARDS Level 3 Maritime Security Operator (Armed) certification.

Grenada and sister islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique sit between the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, just to the north of Trinidad and Tobago.

Known as the “spice island”, due to the abundance of spices including nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric and lemongrass that grow in abundance, Grenada is renowned for its year-round average daily temperature of 25°C and its location outside of the ‘hurricane belt’.

Yachting With an impressive Camper & Nicholson superyacht marina overlooking the picturesque capital St George’s, Grenada offers verdant rainforests peppered with waterfalls and hot springs, uncrowded white-sand beaches, and a vibrant culture.

The island also plays host to celebrated yachting events, including Grenada Sailing Week at the end of January, where yachting aficionados can enjoy six days of thrilling sailing or simply relax and make the most of the famous Grenadian hospitality. 

Be sure to sail over to nearby Carriacou and Petite Martinique, where visitors can enjoy an an even more laconic pace of life, being tropical island escapes where the sea breeze carries away any worries.

Sport Sport enthusiasts can talk cricket to their hearts’ content, and perhaps even join locals in a match on the beach, while those seeking the highest calibre cuisine can savour the notable culinary scene, studded with Caribbean and global award-winning restaurants. Island Life It is impossible to soak in the very best of island living without enjoying an authentic Caribbean rum punch with a heavenly beachfront view. Although it is a sleepy and relaxed island, there is no shortage of quaint beach bars to frequent and indeed Grenada boasts some of the best nightlife in the Caribbean. Be sure to hit up Laluna, a luxury boutique resort on Morne Rouge Beach, for a delicious cocktail in an even more sumptuous setting.
