Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew having drinks

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Additionally, Peacock provides next-day streaming for its subscribers. In order to access episodes, would-be viewers will have to subscribe to Peacock Premium , which offers either a $4.99 ad-supported or $9.99 ad-free plan.

Viewers in the UK can watch episodes the day after they air using Hayu .

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Captain Glenn Shephard

Captain Glenn Shephard, 61, is from Montreal. According to his bio on Bravo , he has always been dictated by the need to see the world. He has been in the industry for 22 years, initially starting by being a deckhead. And, for the past 13 years, Glenn has been serving as a captain on Parsifal III. He is romantically involved with Danelis Jimenez and both are major travel buddies. They started dating each other back when the first season of the show was being filmed. As of now, the couple is on a Spanish tour.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher

Daisy Kelliher, 35, is also returning to the deck. She hails from Ireland and her father was an Olympic sailor. Her yachting skills came from her uncles and aunts who were yachties. She came to the limelight in the show because of her romantic involvement with Gary King. However, their relationship seemed to be nothing more than just a fling because, in the upcoming season's trailer, Gary does not seem to have a liking towards Daisy as anything but a friend. We will see Daisy being open to dating once again as she will be trying to spark a connection with newbie Colin MacRae.

First Mate Gary King

Gary King, 31, has 12 years of experience in handling the deck. He has served as a captain for several small boats and runs the deck on many busy days. He returns to Season 4 as Parsifal's first mate. According to Gary's social media profile, Gary seems to be a family person. He is often seen posting pictures with his niece and nephew and even his parents. He will be seen dipped in jealousy in the new season when Daisy starts romanticizing with another deckie.

Engineer Colin MacRae

Colin MacRae, 30, is a chief engineer. He has been working with super yachts for over 15 years. And, this is Colin's third season with Parsifal III. Colin loves to be a helping hand. Colin and Daisy will be seen sparking a connection in the new season. Both were seen traveling together last year. Daisy and Colin posted a slew of photos together, saying, "Birthday weekend off to an epic start with us happening to be in LA at the same time, and @eaglerider generously giving us a sick bike to blast around on for the day. 1700cc of power between my legs. Unreal!!" However, it is unsure whether both of them are together as of now or not.

Chef Ileisha Dell

Ileisha Dell is a food lover. She has more than 17 years of culinary experience and has been living her dream as a yacht chef since 2014. she has successfully managed to merge her passion for food and travel together. At first, Ileisha worked as a pastry chef, then she explored various genres of cooking and took a leap in her career. However, it seems that the new chef will be doubting her skills in Season 4.

Deck Stew Lucy Edmunds

Lucy Edmunds is from Wales. She has a bubbly and enthusiastic personality. She started her career in the yachting industry after feeling stuck at university during the Pandemic. Being a newbie does not mean that Lucy has no experience in the yachting world. She has worked at a high-end restaurant and became a club VIP at the age of just 19. In fact, the new deck stew has experience in hospitality and knows how to handle things on the deck quite well. Lucy also loves sports and is a fan of rugby. If not working, Lucy loves to party and hang out with her friends.

Deck Stew Mads Herrera

Mads Herrera hails from South Florida. She spent most of her time in the water and on yachts which helped her develop a passion for the same. Following her interest, Mads ended up in the maritime industry. As of now, she has 2 years of experience and is ready to explore new adventures on 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 4. Mads is a true adventurer who loves to travel, drive bikes, and skydive.

Deckhead Chase Lemacks

He loves challenges and will be seen handling a lot of them in Bravo's new season. When not yachting, Chase is seen being busy hunting, fixing old homes, and backpacking.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 3: Fourth wall break, explained

Below Deck Mediterranean has previously surprised viewers when the camera crew had to intervene, which is quite rare in reality television. In season 9 episode 2, cast members Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher wanted to spend some time away from the cameras. The former suggested that they "lose these cameras" by meeting at the starboard bow locker. This planning continued in episode 3 until the production team had to break the fourth wall to stop Gael from meeting Nathan without a mic on.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 3, titled Drifting Standards, was released exclusively on Bravo TV on Monday, July 17, 2024. The synopsis for the episode reads:

Captain Sandy welcomes back a charter guest with high expectations; a deckhand and a guest drift too far away at sea, leaving Capt. Sandy questioning her bosun; the primary charter guest complains the food has not met their expectations."

Why did the camera crew appear on Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 3?

As the camera crew spotted the Below Deck Mediterranean star trying to find a hiding spot, the show producer asked her if she needed a mic. Gael insisted that she wouldn't speak to anyone and return after drinking water. On her way back, Gael texted Nathan that she was caught, hence their plan to meet somewhere without the cameras wouldn't work.

She decided to "call it a night" and went to bed. Previously, there have been rumors about a boatmance between the contestants, but the two have not clarified anything yet. During her confessional , Gael mentioned that she was already in a relationship.

"I'm still in a relationship, and I feel like I'm definitely having stronger feelings than I need to have in this moment. I need to go to sleep," she said.

The Below Deck Mediterranean cast member opened up about her feelings regarding her boyfriend to Aesha Scott. She mentioned that they were together for five months, but they have been unclear about their relationship status.

Gael stated she had issues with her boyfriend's "flirtatious behavior" around his co-workers. The Real Housewives fan shared she was struggling with trusting him and felt that a long-term relationship was a "long shot" for her. The Australian native explained:

"At the moment, our relationship is a little bit of a long shot. We're still trying to figure out the total trust factor. Like, I know he's a bit of a flirtatious person, and what happens when he's on a boat full-time with some really attractive girls?"

When her Below Deck Mediterranean co-star Aesha Scott heard about Gael's concerns, she thought that being in a relationship with someone you don't trust is "not right." Giving an example of her own relationship with Scott Dobson, the chief stew explained that she has never had doubts about her connection.

"Scott [Dobson] and I have been together for three-and-a-half years. There's not been one time I've ever been paranoid. So I just think if you're worried about each other, then surely it's not right," she said.

The upcoming episodes will reveal whether or not Gael and Nathan will officially start dating. Stream the Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 3 on Bravo TV and the next day on Peacock. Fans can also watch the new episodes every Monday at 9 pm ET.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 3 Recap: A Guest Gets Lost at Sea

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Welcome to the  Below Deck Mediterranean  Season 9, Episode 3! In this week’s episode, called “Drifting Standards,” even though a new provisioner gives Captain Sandy hope for a better charter, Jono’s cooking fails to impress. One of the guests gets “lost at sea” alongside deckhand Nathan, which makes Sandy question the competence of her Bosun. Here are some of the highlights from Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 3.

Romance scuttled

When last we visited Below Deck Mediterranean, Gael, and Nathan were looking for a place to canoodle “without cameras.” He finds a spot in the starboard bow locker and messages her to join him. As she’s trying to tippytoe through the galley, she gets busted by a camera crew and mutters, “Oh, sh*t.”

“Do you need a mic?” one of them asks.

“I’m not gonna speak [to anyone],” she responds. “I’m just getting water real quick.” And maybe “ a few wee strawberries ” while you’re at it?

“Why? What am I thinking? What am I doing?” she asks herself. Then she texts Nathan, “I just got caught by the cameras.”

“Hahaha,” Nathan texts back. “There’s no cameras from the bridge deck, can go straight into the bosun’s locker.” Oh, Nathan, the cameras are EVERYWHERE.

But Gael’s lost her nerve. “Haha, nah, let’s call it a night. Talk soon!” And she heads back down the stairs to her cabin. Sorry, Nathan, no strawberries tonight.

“I’m still in a relationship,” Gael interviews. “I feel like I’m having stronger feelings than I need to have in this moment. I need to go to sleep.”

So that’s that. “F*ck! F*ck me,” Nathan grumbles in frustration.

“I don’t want to pressure her or push her into making any dumb, stupid decision,” he says in a confessional. “I hope I won’t make things awkward, but that’s a risk I will take any time!”

A new ship’s supplier makes everyone happy

The next morning, Captain Sandy is emailing the provisioner. Oh, look! She’s wearing her brand-new wedding ring. So pretty! Congrats again, Sandy! We love a Below Deck Mediterranean love story.

“Last charter was the worst provisioning experience I’ve ever had in my charter career,” she says in a confessional. “So we’re changing provisioning companies.” I would think so! Hopefully, the new provisioners will be far more professional.

Aesha is pleased that Sandy has hired a new company. “Amazing! Fingers crossed this charter’s gonna be much more reliable.”

Iain, Aesha, and Jono join Sandy for a preference sheet meeting. The primary for the new charter is two-time Olympic gold medalist tennis champion Gigi Fernández. Sandy says, “I actually had her as a charter client, and we became friends after that. I had a great charter with them, and that’s why they’re coming back.”

“The chef I had [then] did, like, seven courses at each meal,” the captain adds, looking at Jono, who doesn’t look terribly thrilled. “Her expectations are high.”

One of the guests requests no mayonnaise, no lamb, turkey, duck, or pork. “She also has a gluten allergy,” Jono points out. “She hates seafood, whereas seafood is one of the top requests [by the others].” What on earth are they going to feed this woman?

Even though it will be challenging, Sandy says, “I really want to please her. They’re used to getting whatever they want when they want it.”

Jono is worried about cooking for someone who has so many difficult restrictions. “Pressure makes us better,” Sandy encourages him.

When the provisions arrive, Aesha exclaims, “Oh my God, a U.S. provision company that actually knows how to provision!”

Jono is nearly crying with relief. “What a great company!” Aesha squeals. “They actually had things I wanted, and they come on time!”

Not-so-tasty tacos

For the guests’ first meal on the boat, Jono prepares the seafood tacos they asked for. He says the last boat he worked on, the owners were from Mexico. “I’m gonna bring the spice,” he says. “The tacos are gonna be talking. They’re gonna be saying, ‘Eat me! Eat me!’” I hope they like spicy food, cause he’s definitely not holding back on the spices.

As she takes the food out to the guests, Ellie treads carefully with Jono. “After the whole panini-gate last trip,” she says, “I am definitely biting my tongue … All I can do is just remain professional going forward and not let this affect my job at all.”

At the table, Jono may have gone overboard (see what I did there?) on the spice because Gigi comments, “The spice in the rice, there’s a very distinct taste.”

“Do you like it?”

“No,” she responds. “There’s something overbearing in it.” Could it be the cardamom? That doesn’t sound like something that belongs in tacos.

“Yeah, you’re right,” her friend agrees.

The rest of the group concurs. “Woo, that’s spicy!” says one of the group.

When Ellie asks how everything is, Gigi decides, “It’s not Rachel good [the chef on their last charter], but it’s good.”

Adrift at sea

Iain is happy with his crew. “I have a really good team,” he says. “Everyone’s improving. Things are going smoothly. No one’s an idiot.” Don’t tempt fate, Iain.

Laura wants to paddleboard. After getting permission, Nathan accompanies her.

But when they try to return, Nathan realizes they’re farther away than they should be. Rather than watching the guests in the water, Joe is distracted by the ladies who want him to “take your shirt off!”

Attempting to paddle back, Nathan interviews, “We’re actually going backwards because the current is that strong. So, yeah, we’re stuck at sea, and I’m sh*tting myself.”

“What happened to Laura and Nathan?” someone finally asks.

“They’re way too far out,” Sandy says.

Fortunately, a passing catamaran picks them up and returns them safely to the Mustique. Sandy’s not happy that they almost lost one of the guests. Iain launches the tender to retrieve them, and Sandy radios, “Come see me as soon as the guests are back on board.”

“This is embarrassing,” she tells Joe. When he admits he should have had eyes on them, Sandy calls it a “lesson learned.”

“I appreciate that Joe is accountable,” Sandy interviews. “But [as for] Iain, you need two people watching the guests at all times. It’s Iain’s job as the bosun to delegate the watch person.”

“Always have your eyes on the guests,” she tells him. “When guests are in the water on any toy, one person in the tender follows them. Always. Make them a priority.” Neither Nathan nor Laura was wearing a life jacket. They could have drowned.

Iain interviews that he didn’t know he was supposed to keep eyes on guests in the water. Has he never worked on a yacht before?

“Go apologize to Gigi,” Sandy says.

“Poop on a platter”

When Sandy sees that Jono has prepared chicken as the main course, she’s a little disappointed. “The expectation of a Mediterranean charter is five-star food,” she says in a confessional. “Gigi has traveled the world. She has dined in some of the finest restaurants. Chicken is really not something that you serve on a super yacht. Everything has to be perfect.”

Gigi isn’t thrilled with the chicken either. “It’s just too much rosemary.”

“Everyone’s quiet at the table,” Aesha notices. “Coming from someone who proclaims very loudly every time they love food, I just feel like it’s usually not great if people aren’t wowing from their seats.”

“How was the chicken?” she asks the guests. “Is it okay?”

Julie Ann offers, “Mine came out pretty decent.” Not exactly a rave review.

When Aesha returns to the kitchen and sees what’s on offer for dessert, she exclaims, “Sponge cake?! It’s the most boring out of all the cakes.” Even though I could forgive him for the cake since it’s chocolate, Jono’s added a scoop of raspberry sorbet to the plate, which kind of looks like an afterthought. Plus, it’s raspberry, which I hate. Yuck. Aesha calls it “poop on a platter” in a confessional.

“You made me serve chicken, and then I’ve gotta give them spongecake?” she wails. “Like, I’ve gotta be the face of all of this sh*t.” It’s embarrassing.

When Aesha returns to ask the guests if it’s okay, Gigi says, “No, it could be more chocolatey.” Rather than dwelling on the disappointing dinner, Aesha hastily moves them along to the next activity.

Cold eggs for breakfast?

Next morning, Jono prepares Huevos Rancheros. But by the time the guests get to the table, the eggs have been sitting for an hour and a half. That’s disgusting. This is not how to Below Deck Mediterranean, Jono.

“Okay, Aesha, my egg is completely cold,” Gigi says. “If you could just bring an egg that’s hot, everything else is completely fine. There’s just nothing worse than cold eggs.”

Later when Gigi comes to visit Sandy on the bridge, she asks, “How was your breakfast?” Gigi admits the eggs were cold.

“So I sent them back cause you can’t have cold eggs,” she adds. “These people don’t want to complain … Like, last night’s dinner, ‘Chef’s Choice’ and this is what you give us?”

Gigi adds, “When you call something ‘deconstructed,’ it just means that it didn’t work out.” Not if you’re a good chef, it doesn’t.

When Sandy asks about the chocolate cake for dessert, Gigi admits, “It was not good. And then, lunch had some spice, I couldn’t place it. It was completely overbearing. Like, I have a high standard.”

“Oh, I know,” Sandy sympathizes. “On a charter yacht, you want the food to be superb.” These guests are paying a lot of money to be on this boat. They expect five-star dining.

“I know Gigi,” Sandy says in a confessional. “She wouldn’t complain just to complain.”

“I’m sorry,” Sandy tells her friend. “Thanks for letting me know. We’re gonna fix it.”

As soon as Gigi leaves the bridge, Captain radios, “Jono, Jono, can you please come to the bridge?” Uh oh. Somebody’s in trouble.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 3 Recap: A Guest Gets Lost at Sea

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 3 recap.

Romance scuttled

below deck sailing yacht season 4 episode 3 cast

A new ship’s supplier makes everyone happy

below deck sailing yacht season 4 episode 3 cast

Not-so-tasty tacos

below deck sailing yacht season 4 episode 3 cast

Below Deck Mediterranean Recap: Cold Eggs

Below deck mediterranean.

below deck sailing yacht season 4 episode 3 cast

Tonight’s episode mostly feels like a setup for more exciting things to come, and I don’t despise anyone yet, so that’s promising. The action resumes with Gael and Nathan trying to secretly meet up for a “strawberry” at 2:52 a.m. She thinks she’s in the clear, then is surprised by a camera-and-sound-operator duo. I love when we get a glimpse of the crew members. They ask if Gael needs to be mic’d up, and she lies that she’s just getting water and won’t speak to anyone. Nathan waits in the bosun’s locker and naïvely claims there are no cameras on the deck. She’s spooked that she got caught and texts him, deciding to call it a night. This raises a philosophical question: Does it matter if someone does the right thing for the wrong reasons, or should we just appreciate that they got there somehow? In the morning, Gael feels awkward about the whole thing and regrets not going straight to bed. She calls her boyfriend but doesn’t mention the Nathan temptation. Since we’re in the land of Socrates and Plato, it’s only natural the moral-debate opportunities keep coming: Are lies of omission really lying?

In less of a gray area, Sandy acts decisively and switches provisioners. Aesha is thrilled everything arrives on time. Is it dumb that I’d actually be interested in seeing more of the logistics of placing these orders? The preference-sheet meeting is only two and a half hours before the charter starts, so I have to assume they’re getting specialized requests in before then and just rereading for the camera. Unless someone else is placing the orders … scandalous, if true. The primary is Gigi Fernandez, a tennis player and former charter guest on Below Deck season ten, episodes five and six , during which she iconically brought her Olympic gold medal on vacation. She and Sandy became friends after that charter, and she’ll have higher expectations than the first group of guests. Gigi is Zendaya in Challengers , and the crew is the two boys taking turns disappointing her.

Disappointment No. 1: lunch. Per the guests’ request, it’s Mexican cuisine, and I’m worried the second I see Jono put ground cardamom in the rice. Gigi notices the distinct taste and doesn’t like how overbearing it is. Another guest compares it to Indian curry, a dish that is traditionally much more likely to have cardamom.

Disappointment No. 2: lost paddleboarders. Nathan and guest Laura paddle too far out and can’t get back to the Mustique because of a strong current. They hitch a ride back on a catamaran, which is not a good look. Joe owns that it was his fault for not telling Nathan to come closer. Sandy thinks it’s also on Iain and reminds him to always have two sets of eyes on the guests. Iain blames his underlings, forgetting that he told Gael to take a break, so there were only two people on swim-platform duty. Nathan and Joe are getting annoyed by Iain’s micromanaging, while the bosun is frustrated because he feels like he has to tell or show them how to do everything. Iain would rather be dressing up at a music festival. He doesn’t seem to take criticism well, and I don’t want to pile on, but that photo of him as a wizard looked more like January 6.

The galley and exterior may be slipping, but Bri is improving. She takes Ellie’s advice and uses a notebook to keep track of the guest laundry. Ellie and Aesha are happy she’s receptive to coaching. In addition to bed-making skills, Bri also wants Ellie to teach her how to be flirty. Ellie asks if it’s for Joe, and Bri says no — just in general. But in confessional, Bri is definitely interested in Joe, just like Ellie is. Going after the same boy? It’s giving Challengers yet again. (That’s the last reference, I promise.)

Disappointment No. 3: The yoga setup is too cramped. You can’t comfortably do a sun salutation without hitting the person on the neighboring mat. None of the guests actually said anything about this, but I’m counting it as something they must have been thinking.

Later, Aesha is about to serve dinner with the stews still in their red shirts. Sandy goes, “You didn’t want to put your uniform on for this?” They change quickly to blacks, and the captain joins them for synchronized service, leading us to …

Disappointment No. 4: dinner. There must have been at least one first course we weren’t shown, right? The first we see is a chicken entrée. Sandy doesn’t think chicken should be served on a superyacht — it’s not luxury food. Gigi says it has too much rosemary, and everyone eats in silence, conspicuously not complimenting the food. Aesha knows this is a bad sign, but the guests are positive when she asks how it was. For dessert, Jono makes a chocolate sponge cake he introduces as “deconstructed”; it doesn’t look experimental at all, just in rough pieces. The diners think it’s both not chocolaty enough and too intense of a flavor. Gigi has a savage read on it: “When you call something deconstructed, it just means it didn’t work out.”

Post-dinner, the ladies partake in a toga competition. Aesha theorizes that ancient Greeks wore them because the open design would be convenient for orgies. I have to fact-check here and say that togas are Roman, not Greek. This doesn’t matter because most of the women on the charter don’t wear togas, either. They have bought toga-esque dresses, while the crew competes in a timed toga-making contest. It seems to be a good time, and the guests go to bed at 12:15 a.m. They ask for huevos rancheros at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.

Disappointment No. 5: breakfast. Jono has it ready, but none of the guests are awake. The eggs sit out for an hour and a half. Disgusting! The FDA sets two hours as the danger zone, or one hour if above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, so this just seems too close a call with foodborne illness. And, of course, they’re cold. Gigi sends her eggs back and asks for hot ones. She tells Sandy about it and critiques yesterday’s food. Sandy believes Gigi wouldn’t complain just to complain and is going to “fix it,” which means talking to Jono about it … next episode.

From the Galley

• Gigi is actually not the only tennis player onboard: All the friends play. “ I think we ALL sing ” vibes. One brags that her tennis partner is Biden’s next-door neighbor. Okay, and?

• Should Aesha be dialing back the crass humor with guests? They laugh at her warning to pencil dive/jump, because “you don’t want to, like, tear your anus or anything,” but don’t seem to enjoy all the butt-plug–necklace jokes.

• “One-hundred cement.” —Iain

After leaving SNL , Amy went on to star on the NBC comedy Parks And Recreation . She is currently promoting the hit animated Pixar film Inside Out 2 , in which she voices the character Joy. Amy is not the only celebrity who loves watching Below Deck . Seth Rogen, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Jennifer Lawrence, Christina Applegate and Anthony Mackie are just some of the many actors and TV personalities who watch Below Deck .

Amy Poehler loves watching Below Deck and wants to join the franchise.

While promoting Inside Out 2 , Amy discussed her love of reality TV, including Below Deck . While talking with Cosmopolitan UK , the SNL legend admitted that she wants to become a Below Deck cast member, specifically the captain . " It would be hard for me to not be the captain, but, again, I do not know how to drive a boat, so I feel like that would get in the way ," she sarcastically said. Amy added that she'd " fake it " for a couple of days before her inevitable firing.

Amy went into more detail about why she likes watching a show like Below Deck as opposed to other reality shows that focus on people's everyday lives. As she explained, " I like the job that everybody has to do. I care about whether or not they turn the boat over. I want to watch them clean the bathrooms and stuff. That's why I'm into ." Amy's not a fan of reality shows like the Real Housewives where there doesn't seem to be a purpose , according to her. " Everyone sits around and there's no job; they just go to dinner ," she added. " That gets me very stressed. "

Amy Poehler Thinks She’d Be Voted Off Survivor “Pretty Fast”

Amy poehler talks "in front" of people's backs instead of behind their backs.

While Amy believes she would be well-suited to a show like Below Deck , there's a different reality show she would likely fail at: Survivor . " I think I'd get voted off pretty fast ," she admitted. Amy explained that if she were on Survivor , she would be talking to people " in front of their back " instead of " behind their back ." Behavior like that would not go over well with Survivor players and would make her a target at Tribal Council. However, if Amy did get voted off of Survivor , she would " accept the tribe's word ."

It's unlikely that Amy will ever compete on Survivor , but appearing on Below Deck could be a strong possibility--just not as the captain. Below Deck is no stranger to featuring celebrities on the various yachts. Past charter guests have included American Idol 's Justin Guarini , The Bachelor 's Erica Rose, musician Roy Orbison Jr., baseball player Johnny Damon, journalist Jemele Hill, and Real Housewives stars Heather Gay, Cynthia Bailey and Jill Zarin. Clearly, Bravo cast members have a leg up when it comes to appearing on Below Deck as the vast majority of the celebrity guests are reality stars.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

While there's no way Amy will be joining Below Deck as a cast member, Bravo should consider having her as a charter guest . Considering she's already a big fan of the franchise, it's unlikely she would turn down the opportunity. The network could also consider filming a comedic bit with her where a season of Below Deck kicks off with Amy at the helm of the yacht, then Captain Kerry or Sandy walks in, surprised to see her. Amy has a long-standing relationship with NBCUniversal, which produces Below Deck , so an appearance should happen at some point in the future.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
