Launch of new 145m Lürssen superyacht LUMINANCE

The newest addition to the prestigious Lürssen fleet has been launched from their Vegesack facilities in Germany. The top-secret 145m (475ft) superyacht LUMINANCE was unveiled today and has proven to be a serious head-turner.
Ranking as the 15th largest yacht in the world and estimated to have an internal volume of 9,400 GT, the brand new Lürssen motor yacht LUMINANCE certainly wows onlookers with her vast proportions.
Her construction began in 2018 before she was moved to outfitting in February 2021, but as ever, further details about the Lürssen superyacht, including specifications and amenities, remain shrouded in secrecy.
Her exterior styling comes from the boards of Espen Øino and marks the 30th collaboration between the designer and the shipyard and Francois Zuretti is responsible for her interiors.
Superyacht LUMINANCE follows the launch and sea trials of the 146-meter (479ft) superyacht Opera in September 2022. Upon delivery, superyacht LUMINANCE will be the 8th largest yacht in the Lürssen fleet.
Once she has been delivered, it is not expected that yacht LUMINANCE will be available for charter .

Back in the 70's on my first visit to Ft Lauderdale we were walking the docks at Pier 66. When we got to the 'big' (for that era) boats I was in awe of the first 80' Broward we passed. Then as we walked down the dock the boats got bigger and at the end was some huge euro built thing that was larger than anything being built in the U.S. at that time, and I remember thinking man, if I owned that Broward I would keep it someplace else!

46m Baglietto motor yacht Lucky Me sold
The 46.3 metre Baglietto motor yacht Lucky Me has been sold with the buyer introduced by Juan Andrade of SuperYachtsMonaco .
Designed inside and out by Francesco Paszkowski , Lucky Me was built in aluminium by Italian yard Baglietto to ABS class and MCA coded with delivery in 2017. Accommodation is for up to 11 guests in five cabins featuring a full beam master suite on the main deck with a private study and double sea balconies. Below are two VIP suites and two doubles and all cabins have entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there is accommodation for seven crew in four cabins.
The main deck saloon is voluminous with allowance for ample comfortable seating and a small bar, and is separated from the dining room with formal dining for 12 guests by a retractable widescreen television set which can be concealed to create a stunning open plan area encouraging guest circulation and conversation. This would also be an ideal space for cocktail gatherings or dancing.
The wide aft deck is arranged as a generous family seating area for al fresco entertainment and meals, while an integrated staircase to starboard leads up to the upper deck where guests are greeted by a small bar with a retractable television screen and a dining table with seating for 10 to12. Twin 3,700hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 21 knots and a maximum speed of 27 knots.
Lucky Me was asking €17,500,000.
