We’ve also included links to buy advance tickets to the show. We recommend you also consider purchasing a water taxi pass, as street traffic can be a bear (though show shuttles are pretty reliable at MIBS). Finally, we also recommend you download the free show app. It’s worth it.

Tiara 48 LE

This luxury sport yacht graces the cover of our April 2024 issue. Our tech team found it to evince the quality and luxury we’ve come to expect in decades of testing Tiaras. Regal 38 Surf

Brand-new and gracing the cover of our upcoming May issue, Regal’s 38 Surf is the world’s largest wakesurf boat. Power is twin Volvo Penta Forward Drives ( A must see also!) Grady-White Freedom 415

Grady-White sets the bar high with the introduction of the largest dual console outboard powered sportfishing boat on the market today!  See the all new Freedom 415 and all that this innovative boat has to offer. In addition, they are introducing an all new Coastal Explorer model, the 231 CE, to complement the already popular 251 CE and 281 CE. See Grady-White in the Convention Center at MB1984.

Bayliner Pilothouse and Explorer Models

These outboard-powered cabin boats fill an under-served slot in the boating marketplace. Value-priced, with large cockpits, the amenities in the cabins vary by model. Sea-Doo RXP-X 325

This Sea-Doo is powered by the world’s most powerful PWV engine, the Rotax ACE 325. This engine won a prestige Boating Marine Power Innovation Award.( MPI). This is a must see for anyone seeking high-speed thrills, precision handling and state of the art engineering. Visit Sea-Doo in the Convention Center .

Aviara Boats AV28

Ready for action in three distinct variants is the Aviara AV28. The twin outboard version appeals to coastal boaters. The single sterndrive evokes a European sports coupe. Yamaha 252 SD

Powered by two of the new 1.9 liter HO Yamaha Marine Engines, this new jet-propelled runabout also features DRiVE X, a system which allows you to move your boat forward and aft, laterally, rotate in its own axis or hold the boat against a dock. Rated capacity is 12 and you can see it in the Convention Center at MB1930 .

Solaris Power Solaris 52

The Miami International Boat Show is the world premiere of the Solaris Power 52 Open. Be among the first to tour and inspect this beautiful boat. Call it a sport yacht. Call it a dayboat. Regulator Marine Regulator 28

Here’s a boat that offers more than many. With outboards installed on a bolt-on bracket, the platform and bracket are not included in the lentyh of the boat. Walk the cockpit of this 28-footer and then do the same on some others, and see for yourself. See the Regulator 28 in the Convention Center at MB1542 .

This readily-trailerable, easily-garageable Scarab 215 Wake LE is a very special boat. Powered by twin Rotax waterjets delivering a total of 460-hp, it features a wakeboard Tower, board rack, ballast system, extended swim platform and a Touch Screen Command Center. Rand Supreme 27

The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show returns to Greater Miami & Miami Beach February 12-16, 2025 bringing with it over 1,000 exhibitors, boats and activations. It’ll span six locations across Miami and Miami Beach, making it the world’s largest boat show with an estimated $1.3 billion in economic impact. The Boat Show has also joined forces with SuperYacht Miami to bring the biggest and most luxurious yachts in the world to Watson Island for a special VIP showcase. Whether you’re in the market for a boat or just want to see the latest toys on the water, the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show has something for you to enjoy, and there’s easy transportation between all six venues.

How to best experience the boat show.

How you experience the boat show depends entirely on what you want to see and do. If you’re looking to peruse boats under 49 feet, the Miami Beach Convention Center in South Beach is your spot. The newly renovated convention center will be filled with boats, engines, accessories, electronics and boat-related retail. So whether you’re shopping for a boat or just a new Bimini top for your center console, you can find it here.

Across the causeway at Herald Plaza in Downtown Miami , you’ll find thundering powerboats alongside modest yachts in the 30-125-foot range. There will also be engine manufacturers and retail specific to the boats on display.

If you’re looking to get out on the water, head to the Venetian Marina near Downtown. You’ll find 150 vessels ready for test-drives and a bevy of brokerage boats, too.

Those who prefer wind-powered vessels should make their way to the Museum Park Marina in Downtown Miami, where the latest in sailboats, catamarans and sailing accessories will be in the water.

If you’re in town to shop for a mega yacht, make plans to visit SuperYacht Miami at Yacht Haven Grande Miami . The largest and most impressive boats on the high seas will sit sparkling in the sun at The Deck at Island Gardens, beckoning the world’s elite to see what over-the-top advances shipbuilders have developed. Access to this event is only available to Windward VIP or SuperYacht ticket holders.

What to Do at the Boat Show

The boat show isn’t just for people looking to buy boats. Nor is it for people who just want to look at boats. Across the street from the convention center in Pride Park , you’ll find the Progressive Boat Show Experience , a venerable carnival of boating fun filled with food, seminars and even some tips on how to fix your boat. The Experience’s centerpiece is the Nautical Ventures AquaZone, a 40,000-gallon freshwater pool in which you’ll find watercraft demos and product testing. Try out the latest in nautical technology.

On Thursday and Friday nights, SFC Live! will stream live from the Progressive stage, as Peter Miller and Robbie Floyd discuss the world of professional sport fishing and what to expect in the upcoming season. Throughout the weekend, you can also enjoy fishing seminars by the experts at CHAOS Fishing. And those looking to educate their kids about the wonderful world of angling can enroll them in Hook the Future’s Kids Fishing Clinics with Captain Don Dingman, who’ll teach them about different species of fish and fishing techniques.

If you have a boat that’s giving you trouble and need some tips on fixing it, there’s the Fred’s Shed Interactive Learning Center. Mechanics and other boating pros will be on hand to offer free seminars and advice on everything from daily operations to maintenance.

Planning Your Visit

Tickets to the boat show.

The only way into the boat show will be with digital tickets ; you won’t find a box office on-site. Tickets will get you into every venue except SuperYacht. SuperYacht tickets are sold separately, though those with Windward VIP tickets can also access SuperYacht.

Windward VIP tickets also include access to designated lounges at Herald Plaza and the Miami Beach Convention Center as well as a premium open bar and golf cart transportation to the lounges. VIP ticket holders will also receive free shuttle and water taxi transportation between venues and have their own private restrooms.

Getting to the Boat Show

The Boat Show has partnered with SpotHero , a service that helps reserve parking spaces via lots, garages and valet services. You can check for spaces on the app , although those going to the Convention Center will be best served to park at the 17th Street garage a block south. Other venues may have surface lots nearby, but rideshares and public transportation may be easier.

Going between venues is pretty simple, as ticket holders can take free boat show shuttles or golf carts. Shuttles will run in five different loops connecting the venues, and electric golf carts will run between Maurice Gibb Park and the Convention Center and also Herald Plaza and the Venetian Marina.

This year’s show will also offer a water taxi running between all six locations. Tickets are available for $15 per day (they’re included with Windward VIP tickets).

Those coming via Brightline from points north can take a free shuttle from MiamiCentral Station . It’ll stop at several boat show venues.

Where It’s Happening

The show’s home base will be the Miami Beach Convention Center at 1901 Convention Center Drive in Miami Beach .

The Boat Show Experience will be held in Pride Park, adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

One Herald Plaza is in Downtown Miami, between Bayshore Drive and the Venetian Causeway on Northeast 15th Street. The nearest Metromover stop is the Adrienne Arsht Center station.

The Venetian Marina is also in Downtown Miami, at 1635 N. Bayshore Drive. The nearest Metromover stop is the Adrienne Arsht Center station.

Museum Park Marina is at 801 Biscayne Blvd. in Downtown Miami, between the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Kaseya Center . The nearest Metromover stop is the Park West station.

Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens is on Watson Island, 838 MacArthur Causeway, between South Beach and Downtown Miami.

Miami Boat Show 2024: Everything you need to know

The Miami Boat Show (or to give it its full name, the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show) is as glamorous and stylish as its host city.

Held every year in February, this is a key showcase for manufacturers to show off their latest models across four on-water locations and the recently revamped Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park.

It’s not just American brands either, with yards from all across the globe flocking to Florida to attract affluent showgoers.

When is the 2024 Miami Boat Show?

The 2024 event will take place from Wednesday February 14 to Sunday February 18.

The show opens each day at 10am and closes in the evening at 6pm on Wednesday on Thursday, 7pm on Friday and Saurtday, and 5pm on Sunday. However the legendary Miami parties go on long into the small hours.

How much are 2024 Miami Boat Show tickets?

Prices have yet to be confirmed for the 2024 show, but 2023 prices were as follows:

Standard day tickets start at $40 per adult and $15 per child, but due to the size of the show, we’d always recommend investing $70 in a two-day ticket.

Wednesday is press preview day, so if you want to be among the first to step aboard the world premieres, then you’ll need to pay an extra $20 for a Prime Time Preview ticket.

Furthermore, the Superyacht Miami experience at Island Gardens requires a separate ticket, priced at $125 for Thurs-Sun or $150 for Weds-Sun.

Or if you really want to push the boat out, you can buy a Windward VIP ticket for $375, which includes exclusive entry into the Windward VIP Clubs, a private concierge to book appointments, an open bar, food, and complimentary access to the Boat Show water taxi.

Which boats will be debuting at the 2024 Miami Boat Show?

The full line-up of boats making their debut at the 2024 Miami Boat Show is yet to be confirmed, but you can expect a wide range of world debuts from sportsboats to superyachts.

What appeared to be a few hundred boats, decked out in American flags and "Trump 2024" banners, sailed along the shoreline from Nine Mile Tower toward Hart Plaza. For supporters of the parade, the day’s theme was clear: community unity.  “We’re celebrating President Trump, Trump’s birthday, Father’s day, unity in the community,” said Rob Cortis, who mans a repurposed ambulance with an attached trailer with “Trump Unity” spelled out in massive letters. He calls it, appropriately, the Trump Unity Bridge. As he spoke, a speaker on the vehicle blasted Barry Manilow’s "Copacabana." Start the day smarter. The boat parade was scheduled to end in the Detroit River near Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit around 4 p.m. At the same time, Trump spoke at a roundtable at a Detroit church. At 6 p.m., Trump was at Huntington Place making the keynote speech for The People's Convention. Turning Point Action, a conservative nonprofit, hosted Trump as keynote speaker at gathering. The three-day event touted a roster of big name republicans, including Donald Trump Jr., U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and Trump’s former Chief of Staff, Steve Bannon. “I think he’s reaching out,” said Mark Miller, who set up to watch the day’s festivities with his family from a park along the water. “Michigan has always been close, but Detroit has always been not for Trump. I’m impressed that he’s here.”  Debbie Lambert, another parader, has been a supporter since Trump’s 2016 run. She hopes his visit to Michigan will help other people in her state “see everything that’s going on, that people open their eyes to really be awake,” she said. She thinks Trump’s recent criminal conviction in New York is an effort to keep voters from casting ballots for who they want.  “We’ve been to many rallies,” she said. “It’s like-minded people supporting Trump.” In tandem with the waterbound, the group Bikers for Trump headed up a road route for the parade. A school of motorcycles sporting MAGA flags and moving 20 miles per hour were followed by the Trump unity bridge and a dozen or so cars. That group drove down the shore and pulled off to regroup at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe. Later, a smaller fleet circled Hart Plaza in parallel to the flotilla. At the intersection, cars honked in support. Others lowered their windows and shouted to express disdain.  A few protesters gathered to represent an independent movement of Detroiters against Trump, not tied to any political party, said Mark Airgood, one of the demonstrators. “There is no way Detroit welcomes Trump,” he said. “We know that the vast majority of Detroiters stand with us, against Trump and against the racism he spreads.”  Several different groups of The People’s Convention attendees lingered nearby to observe the protesters as they marched in circles next to the Joe Louis "The Fist" monument, shouting into mega-horns and touting signs. Perry Everson, a young Detroiter, stood by the crowd with a Trump sign. He’d come out to show his support for the parade. He’s hoping to see more Black voters for Trump in the coming election, but respects that there are alternative views. “I support everyone, everyone has their own opinion,” he said.  A similar dynamic played out in the air: Small planes criss-crossed over the lake with banners in tow. One read “Trump 2024.” Another, paid for by the Democratic National Committee, read “TRUMP’S A CROOK DON’T LET EM SINK UR BOAT.” A few others — two advertising a gun shop and another a brand of cannabis — took advantage of the crowds for publicity. A small group of supporters waited for the boats to pass by Hart Plaza at 4 p.m., their designated arrival time. A few vessels sporting American flags trickled in. Cortis said the boats arrived ahead of schedule and turned back near the Renaissance Center. “I was born here,” said Cortis. “And I’m proud to have Trump as one of my guests in Detroit, Michigan. While the exercises aren't considered a threat to the U.S., American ships were deployed to shadow the Russians, U.S. officials told CBS News. The Russian warships  were seen arriving in Havana's harbor on Wednesday morning and were expected to stay in Cuba until Monday. White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters on Air Force One on Wednesday the U.S. was closely monitoring the Russian ships. "We have seen this kind of thing before and we expect to see this kind of thing again," Sullivan said. The U.S. intelligence community has assessed that the submarine is nuclear powered but it isn't carrying nuclear weapons, CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reported. White House national security spokesman John Kirby told CBS News senior White House and political correspondent Ed O'Keefe last week that there was no indication nuclear weapons would be "at play" during the vessels' time in the Caribbean. What Russian ships are in Cuba? According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the three Russian ships are a frigate, a fleet oil tanker and a salvage tug. The three ships and the submarine headed across the Atlantic separately, Martin reported. Russia has used the frigate, the Admiral Gorshkov, to test its Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles , according to the Reuters news agency. Two American destroyers and two ships that tow sonar equipment behind them were shadowing the submarine, Martin reported. Another destroyer and a U.S. Coast Guard cutter were shadowing the three Russian ships. The U.S. Navy also used little sailboats fitted with cameras, known as sail drones, to shadow the Russian ships as they got close to Cuba. The Admiral Gorshkov and the submarine carried out drills in the Atlantic that simulated a missile strike on enemy ships, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday, according to the Associated Press. While the Russian ships are in Cuba, the U.S. Navy ships shadowing them are expected to wait for the Russians and continue shadowing them when they leave port, Martin reported. The ships' arrival in Havana — which the Cuban Foreign Ministry said was expected to include the fanfare of one Russian ship firing 21 salvos in a salute to Cuba — comes ahead of Russia carrying out air and naval exercises in the Caribbean in the coming weeks, Martin reported. The exercises, which will include long-range bombers, will be the first simultaneous air and naval maneuvers Russia has carried out in the Caribbean since 2019, Martin reported. The exercises will be conducted over the summer, culminating in a worldwide naval exercise in the fall. "Clearly this is them signaling their displeasure about what we're doing for Ukraine ," Kirby told O'Keefe. "So we're going to watch it, we're going to monitor it, it's not unexpected. … But we don't anticipate, we don't expect that there'll be any imminent threat or any threat at all, quite frankly, to American national security in the region, in the Caribbean region, or anywhere else." The Russian ships are expected to head to Venezuela after Cuba, but it's unclear what the submarine will do, Martin reported. What was the Cuban missile crisis? The events in the Caribbean are different from the Cuban missile crisis that happened over 60 years ago. The 1962 crisis unfolded after the U.S. discovered launch sites in Cuba for Soviet ballistic nuclear missiles. Over the course of 13 days, the crisis brought the Soviet Union and the U.S. dangerously close to nuclear war.
