My partner and I recently had the pleasure of embarking on Yacht Week Croatia, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. We booked a cabin and were paired with the most amazing people from all over the world - who have now become lifelong friends!
Sarah is the best host I could have asked for. She prepared amazing food and I ate better than I normally do on land. Riley our skipper was super fun as well. We did a cabin booking and lucked out with a very down-for-anything crew. The parties are legit.

NOTHING like the real world! This was hands down the best week of my life! My best friend and I did a cabin booking and had so much fun we're looking at going back next summer! Its hard to describe the week but if you're up for a party then this is the week for you!

Loved my experience! It's very organized, but they cater to what the guests are interested in. All the staff is great and makes sure everyone is having a good time and the hostesses are amazing! These trips are perfect for groups or solo travelers. Everyone is inviting and you make friendships that can last a lifetime. I plan to do other trips with The Yacht Week in the future.
I traveled to the YW solo and met my crew on the Facebook CrewFinder page. I am so glad I did. I met so many amazing people, went to places I had never been and partied the night away with like-minded people from around the world. As soon as we returned, we booked another trip. Can't wait for many more. Worth every penny.
I had an epic time and met some amazing people. I went solo on my trip for the ultra and yacht week combo. Everyone was so welcoming and no bad vibes and we became a family after the week.

I have been wanting to go to Yacht Week for years but could never get enough people to commit so when they opened up the “cabin only” booking I was sold. I booked a cabin with my best friend and was able to get on the same yacht with another two friends that had booked as well. The other 6 people were complete strangers who have now turned into what I know will be life-long friends. Shoutout to Lydia for the amazing pairing, I couldn’t have picked a better crew to sail with for the week.

As with every Palm Beach fleet member, the PB85 is constructed using the yard’s proprietary V-Warp technology. The strong and efficient hull is a sandwich of foam, e-glass, and epoxy resin, while the streamlined superstructure is made from lightweight carbon fiber. The sleek exterior enhances overall performance, increasing range and improving fuel efficiency. In fact, the yard says its cruisers consume 70 percent less fuel than other yachts in their class.
The PB85 is pretty fast, too. Powered by Volvo Penta engines, the yacht has a cruising speed of 23 knots, a top speed of 26 knots, and a range of 200 nautical miles at 21 knots. Twin MAN V-8s result in a top speed of 27.5 knots, a cruising speed of 25 knots, and a range of 650 nautical miles.
“At Palm Beach, we’re constantly improving, innovating, pushing ourselves, and exceeding industry expectations—the PB85 is the result of countless hours of hard work by our entire team,” adds Richards. “I am extremely proud of what we’ve been able to achieve.”
No details regarding delivery, but fingers crossed the PB85 hits the seas soon.

Roger Federer Just Rocked One of Rolex’s Coolest Sports Watches
By Oren Hartov
Earlier this week, at the New York premiere of his new documentary Federer: Twelve Final Days , tennis icon and Rolex testimonee Roger Federer strapped on the Yacht-Master II ref. 226627—a watch so lightweight that I feared, upon first handling it in Geneva last year, that I might crush it, thus owing Rolex corporate headquarters a check for $14,050 (plus tax).
The ref. 226627 was not Rolex’s first titanium watch—that distinction belongs to the 50mm-wise Deepsea Challenge , which was seemingly designed for James Cameron to wear while plumbing the depths of the Atlantic for sunken ocean liners. The Yacht-Master II, on the other hand, is arguably more exciting: Measuring a more comfortable 42mm wide, it was first spotted on the wrist of skipper (and fellow Rolex testimonee) Sir Ben Aislney back in the fall of 2021. No longer a prototype and now a full production model, it’s crafted from Grade 5 RLX titanium and is available for purchase. ( Theoretically, at least. )
What makes this Submariner-esque watch different from, well, a Submariner ? The two are admittedly similar in design, with a few key differences: There’s the RXL titanium case, of course, but then there’s also the 42mm sizing (as opposed to 41mm on the Sub); a bidirectional timing bezel with a sand-blasted Cerachrom insert (instead of the Sub’s unidirectional dive bezel); the date window (which is only seen on Submariner Date models); and the matching, RLX titanium Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock folding clasp and Easylink comfort extension. (The Sub doesn’t have an available titanium bracelet.)
Other than that, both the Submariner Date and the Yacht-Master II are powered by Rolex’s automatic Calibre 3235 movement with 70 hours of power reserve, and both are made for aquatic use. The Sub, however, is a diver’s watch rated to 300m of water resistance; the Yacht-Master II, on the other hand, is made for sailing and is water resistant to 100m—still respectable, to be sure, but best kept to the deck of a cutting-edge racing craft.
Seeing the Yacht-Master II on Federer’s wrist is more fun than notable—it looks perfectly at home when paired with his dark suit at the photocall, though it's a distinctly sporty piece made to be used and abused. Being a Rolex testimonee, of course, Federer has been spotted in just about every notable Crown offering over the past few years, from the Le Mans Daytona to the Sky-Dweller in precious metals and more. (The man pulls off a dressy 1908 with black tie beautifully, but let’s be real—this is a brand famed for its sport watches, and we’re talking about one of the world’s most renowned athletes.) Having cycled through many of the brand’s most compelling offerings, the only remaining pertinent question is: How do we get Fed into a “Leopard” Daytona ?

Taylor swift environmentalists target her jet ... but end up missing it.
Taylor Swift 's private jet ended up in the crosshairs of a political protest -- environmental activists tagged multiple planes at an airfield she'd landed at ... but missed the target.
Just Stop Oil -- a British environmental activist group focused on human-caused climate change -- took responsibility for the vandalism Thursday ... confirming they were specifically going after Taylor's private plane.
The org says protesters Jennifer Kowalski and Cole Macdonald entered the private airfield at Stansted airport around 5 AM ... and sprayed paint on PJs using rigged fire extinguishers.
The two gals who pulled this off were proud of the tag job ... posing in front of the vandalized planes and snapping selfies.
BTW, Just Stop Oil later confirmed they didn't end up actually hitting Taylor's jet -- they got 2 planes that didn't belong to her, but their intentions were clear ... evidenced in JSO's caption on the post for this, not to mention their own headline , which referenced Taylor lyrics.
Essex police confirmed they arrested the women ... noting the demonstrators were booked on suspicion of criminal damage and interference with the use or operation of national infrastructure.
Just Stop Oil says its end goal is for the British government to stop the extraction and burning of oil, gas and coal by 2030.
Macdonald added, “We’re living in two worlds: one where billionaires live in luxury, able to fly in private jets away from the others, where unlivable conditions are being imposed on countless millions."
Taylor officially reached billionaire status last fall ... with her "Eras" tour playing a major factor in her becoming a member of the three-comma club.
Yet, Taylor's consistently faced backlash for the frequent use of her private jet ... with her massive carbon footprint blasted online. It's been an ongoing criticism against her for years.
According to Just Stop Oil, private jet users are responsible for up to 14X more carbon emissions than a commercial flight.
Just Stop Oil also targeted UK landmark Stonehenge earlier this week. Similar to the jet situation, 2 protesters tagged Stonehenge with orange paint powder ... and they were also arrested.
Their bottom line is clear ... they have bad blood with CO2 polluters, and they consider TS one of them.

Yacht Club Games Reveals New Shovel Knight Updates Including A Brand New Game
Yacht Club Games hosted its own Direct-style presentation today, primarily to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Shovel Knight. As such, the event featured various Shovel Knight-related announcements, including the reveal of a brand-new game.
This new Shovel Knight game has no title and was not shown, but Yacht Club confirmed it’s in development. It also hinted that various clues about the nature of this title can be found in other Shovel Knight games, such as Shovel Knight Dig, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove.
The studio also states, “We're committed to crafting an experience that not only honors the Shovel Knight legacy but also pioneers groundbreaking, innovative gameplay mechanics. This isn't just another sequel - it's a bold new adventure that will launch Shovel Knight into an entirely new dimension of gaming.”
We’ll have to wait to see what this new game is, but the studio did reveal an enhanced version of the original game called Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX. This is essentially the definitive edition of the 2014 indie classic, featuring 20 new playable characters, a rewind function, save states, online multiplayer, cheats, and more. Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX has no release window or announced platforms. As for smaller updates, Yacht Club announced free DLC for Shovel Knight Dig (its final content pack) and Pocket Dungeon.
Yacht Club also provided an update for Mina the Hollower , its upcoming action-adventure game. A new trailer offers a montage of gameplay, and Yacht Club states the project is “nearing completion of the initial pass on all level content.” It plans to spend the next few months polishing and refining gameplay. Yacht Club reveals that the game has grown larger than expected since its reveal in 2022; it now features an “expansive” overworld and RPG elements. The studio says to expect a big gameplay reveal in the near future.

Stock market today: S&P 500 and Nasdaq head for new highs as Nvidia rally pushes on
- US stocks are on track to hit fresh records on Thursday.
- Nvidia continued to rally after recently claiming the title as the world's most valuable company.
- Jobless claims were little changed as 238,00 people applied for unemployment benefits last week.
US stock averages rose on Thursday, with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq on track for another record.
Traders returned from the Juneteenth holiday with Nvidia shares continuing to soar after the company claimed edged out Microsoft as the world's most valuable company earlier in the week.
Investors were also assessing the latest jobless claims data. Last week, claims edged lower but remained near the highest level in 10 months as 238,000 people applied for unemployment benefits. The data points to some loosening of the labor market, which the Federal Reserve and chair Jerome Powell have said is necessary for rates to come down this year.
Here's where US indexes stood shortly after the 9:30 a.m. opening bell on Tuesday:
- S&P 500 : 5,503.68, up 0.3%
- Dow Jones Industrial Average : 38,900.73, up 0.2% (67 points)
- Nasdaq composite : 17,934.78, up 0.4%
Meanwhile, new home construction fell 5.5% to a four-year low last month, underscoring the ongoing supply-demand mismatch in the US housing market.
In a midyear outlook, Apollo chief economist Torsten Sløk noted that the US economy is in a state of "unstable equilibrium" as forces pull in opposite directions.
"On the one hand, the lagged effects of Fed rate hikes continue to reign in growth, with higher borrowing costs biting into over-levered consumers, corporates, and banks alike," he wrote.
"On the other hand, the Fed 'pivot' in December 2023 triggered an easing of financial conditions—bond issuance surged, M&A activity awakened, risky asset rallied, and bond spreads tightened meaningfully. These easier conditions have at least partly neutralized the effects of the Fed hikes, paving the way for a reacceleration in both economic growth and inflation."
Sløk said that easier financial conditions should help continue to offset the effects of tighter Fed policy for at least the next three quarters.
Here's what else happened today:
- America's cardboard box recession is over , Bank of America says.
- Shadowy middlemen are giving Russia access to old Western technology.
- Stocks are nearing a 5% correction on a trio of mounting headwinds, according to one strategist.
In commodities, bonds, and crypto:
- Oil futures rose. West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.76% to $82.19 a barrel. Brent crude , the international benchmark, edged 0.9% higher to $85.84 a barrel.
- Gold inched up 0.25% to $2,353.50 per ounce.
- The 10-year Treasury yield rose seven basis points to 4.292%.
- Bitcoin edged up to $65,218.
