1 Seattle/Anacortes, WA Enjoy a pre-night hotel in Anacortes, WA before boarding the yacht on the first day of the cruise.

2 Friday Harbor, WA Enjoy Friday Harbor at your leisure.

3 Victoria, B.C. Cruise to Victoria B.C. and clear customs. Choose from many different things to do in Victoria such as tea at the Empress, Miniature world, Royal B.C. museum, Craigdarroch castle and visit the Maritime museum. We will spend the night in Victoria so you will have plenty of time to explore this beautiful town on Vancouver Island.

4 Sidney, B.C. or Nanaimo Cruise to Sidney B.C. where we will tour the beautiful Butchart gardens. We will spend the evening in Sidney harbor. Cruise through the beautiful gulf islands to the town of Nanaimo, with a quaint downtown that's available to tour. Nanaimo. You can follow the Nanaimo bar trail or enjoy the 4 craft breweries in Nanaimo.

5 Roche Harbor, WA Cruise back to the San Juan islands and clear customs at Roche harbor. We will then cruise to English camp where the great pig war of 1859 took place. We will cruise back to Roche Harbor for the evening. While in Roche harbor you can enjoy hiking trials, Sculpture park, and watch Roche harbor colors ceremony at sundown.

6 Rosario, WA/Orcas Island Cruise to Rosario resort. You can tour the Moran mansion and learn the history of Rosario. At 4 pm you can enjoy the the piano and organ concert at the mansion { a must see}. At Rosario they have a swimming pool and Spa that will be available.

7 La Conner - Seattle, WA Cruise to La Conner where you will board the shuttle back to Sea Tac.

Victoria’s Harbour is a strategic asset, the life-blood of the city and the homeland of the Lekwungen People, known today as the Esquimalt Nation and Songhees Nation who continue to be the keepers of this beautiful land and the stories connected to it.

Get a first-hand look at how the harbour functions today as a seaport and seaplane airplane terminal as well as a cruise ship and ferry destination. Uncover the secrets of historic landmarks like the Parliament Buildings, bridges, wildlife habitats, and float home communities. Immerse yourself in the natural splendor and see why Victoria was established as the main port in Western Canada, and the capital of British Columbia.

Victoria Harbour – Night Cruise showcasing one of the World’s Top Three Nightscapes

Most of us are familiar with the stunning night view of Victoria Harbour and the renowned “A Symphony of Lights” show, usually enjoyed from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. However, I want to introduce you to a different and extraordinary experience of Victoria Harbour, offering an alternative way to admire the “world’s top three night views.”

Last Sunday, our group of 25 people chartered a medium-sized yacht for a leisurely cruise along Victoria Harbour, accompanied by the mesmerizing “A Symphony of Lights” show. It was my first time exploring Victoria Harbour by boat, and the experience was truly enchanting. Viewing the harbor’s night scenery from the middle of the sea was simply captivating. To add to the excitement, we later indulged in a sumptuous seafood feast at Lei Yue Mun.

Here’s a breakdown of our evening itinerary:

Meeting at Tsim Sha Tsui Pier → Star Walk, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Museum of Art → Lei Yue Mun (Disembark for dinner) → Disperse at Tsim Sha Tsui Pier

We gathered at Tsim Sha Tsui Pier at 7:20 pm and officially set sail at 7:30 pm. Cruising along the Star Walk, we passed by iconic landmarks such as the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The weather was pleasantly cool that day, and the gentle sea breeze along the expansive coastline made the experience even more delightful.

At precisely 8:00 pm, the “A Symphony of Lights” show began. Watching it from the boat was undoubtedly the best vantage point, surpassing the view from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront near the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The buildings on both sides of the harbor illuminated with a kaleidoscope of colorful lights and laser beams, illuminating the entire Victoria Harbour. The lights continuously danced and changed, bringing vibrancy to the harbor. As the speed of the light show increased, all the buildings lit up simultaneously, creating the most dazzling and radiant moment. We quickly grabbed our phones to capture the final scene of “A Symphony of Lights.”

Apart from “A Symphony of Lights,” some people choose to venture out on special occasions such as National Day, New Year’s Eve countdown, and Lunar New Year to witness the famous fireworks display over Victoria Harbour.

After the conclusion of “A Symphony of Lights,” the captain navigated the boat towards Lei Yue Mun. Yes, we arrived at Lei Yue Mun for a seafood feast. After a short walk from the pier, we reached Lei Yue Mun Seafood Restaurant. We ordered a variety of seafood dishes, and my personal favorites were the salt and pepper mantis shrimp, garlic butter lobster, and garlic steamed scallops with vermicelli. They were incredibly flavorful and fresh! The captain often recommends interesting routes and itineraries. So, if you’re ever unsure about your next destination, don’t hesitate to ask the captain for suggestions. You might be pleasantly surprised! (Actually, the idea of dining at Lei Yue Mun was suggested by the captain, and it turned out to be a fantastic recommendation!)

After enjoying this delightful seafood meal, we headed back to the boat to return to Tsim Sha Tsui Pier. We arrived around 10:00 pm and dispersed.

For an additional fee, you can enjoy culinary delights in the special restaurant called the Marcello & Fabrizio fine dining restaurant, as well as the Trattoria Omero restaurant.

Two-level Paris Dining Room. One level of the restaurant offers flexible/open dining service from 6:00 to 11:00 P.M. daily, and the other hosts two seatings, an early seating at 6:45 P.M. and main seating at 8:30 P.M. Guests choosing flexible open seating may make reservations daily during a cruise until 4:00 P.M. or simply walk in any time during dining hours.

Trattoria Omero Restaurant

Trattoria Omero ($) is your destination onboard for an intimate Italian dinner. The evening begins with the chef's selection of antipasti with a taste of the delicious fare and personal, polished service to follow. Lunch is complimentary, dinner is paid according to the menu.

Marcello & Fabrizio restaurant

A premium dining experience ($) with Dolce & Gabbana porcelain, Jubilee glasses and high-end sterling silver cutlery. Dishes include premium beef from around the world and fresh seafood, complemented by our specially selected wine list. A Few Words About Us

Victoria Cruises Line was founded in 2002 and is 100 percent privately owned. The operational management is led by shipping and hotel experts with many years of professional experience. Our history spans only 20 years, but during this time, we have acquired the experience to ensure the professional operation of our company. In the beginning, we only operated cargo services, but since 2016, we have been operating shorter cruises in the Mediterranean, calling at Italian and Greek coasts and ports.

In 2020, the COVID pandemic brought our company, like so many others, to a standstill and we were unable to organize trips for several months. During the forced shutdown, we decided that when we were able to restart our cruises, we would launch a completely different concept, organizing unique trips that are not available from other companies.

Our ship have undergone a complete refit at the yard and will be back in service in July 2024. The ship will offer cabins and suites of various sizes for short and long term charter, with all-inclusive catering and luxury amenities at affordable prices. On board, travel/accommodation will be offered exclusively to adult guests over 18 years of age. We offer a unique journey and experience that you can't get anywhere else.

Demi Moore on Full Frontal Nudity With Margaret Qualley in ‘The Substance’: ‘A Very Vulnerable Experience’ but I Had a ‘Great Partner Who I Felt Very Safe With’

Demi Moore ‘s new film, the feminist body horror “ The Substance ,” sees her bare it all, with several scenes featuring full nudity. At the Cannes Film Festival press conference for the film on Monday, the 61-year-old actor discussed the “vulnerable experience.”

“Going into it, it was really spelled out — the level of vulnerability and rawness that was really required to tell the story,” Moore said. “And it was a very vulnerable experience and just required a lot of sensitivity and a lot of conversation about what we were trying to accomplish.”

“I had someone who was a great partner who I felt very safe with. We obviously were quite close  — naked — and we also got a lot of levity in those moments at how absurd those certain situations were,” she said. “But ultimately. it’s just about really directing your communication and mutual trust.”

As the film progresses, Moore becomes horribly disfigured thanks to the abuse her other half Qualley is inflicting on her. By the film’s last act, she quite resembles Anjelica Huston from the 1990 film “The Witches,” after she transforms into a humpback abomination.

Dennis Quaid also stars in the film as an “asshole,” as he described his character during the presser. The late Ray Liotta was meant to have the role before his passing in May 2022, and Quaid dedicated his performance to him.

“In my heart, I dedicated this role to Ray Liotta, who was set to play it,” Quaid said. “It was this week, two years ago that he passed, so I’d like to remember him. He was such an incredible actor.”

Cannes went wild for “The Substance” at its premiere on Sunday night, giving the film an 11-minute standing ovation , the longest of the fest so far.

In an interview with Variety , the French director discussed the film’s feminist themes, saying that body horror is “the perfect vehicle to express the violence all these women’s issues are about.”

With an undercurrent of #MeToo at this year’s festival as the movement grows in France, Fargeat hopes the film will shine even more light on the issue. “It’s a little stone in the huge wall we still have to build regarding this issue, and to be honest, I hope my film will also be one of the stones of that wall. That’s really what I intended to do with it.”

Tom Cruise bonded with Travis Kelce at Taylor Swift’s London Eras Tour after the actor skipped his daughter Suri Cruise’s high school graduation.

According to videos shared online , the Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, put his hands on the “Mission Impossible” actor’s shoulders as they laughed and smiled at each other during the pop star’s performance of “Blank Space” Saturday night inside Wembley Stadium.

In another clip , Tom, 61, danced along to Swift’s “Shake It Off” while standing in a VIP section with several other stars , including “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Hugh Grant.

Prior to the show starting, the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor, who rocked dark wash jeans, a white T-shirt and a black jacket, was seen trading friendship bracelets with fans.

Though Tom seemed to be having the time of his life in the capital of England, he missed a major moment in his estranged daughter Suri’s life.

On Friday, the 18-year-old, whom Tom shares with ex-wife Katie Holmes,  graduated from LaGuardia High School in New York City.

Suri looked thrilled as she posed with the “Dawson’s Creek” alum, 45, for photos before heading into the United Palace Theatre in Manhattan.

The mother-daughter duo smiled and hugged as they celebrated Suri’s big milestone.

The teen, who has been estranged from Tom for years , even dropped her dad’s famous last name, instead using “Suri Noelle” in the graduation pamphlet.

Suri will be attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in the fall.

A source exclusively told Page Six in April that the action movie star  has not seen Suri since 2012 . (They were last seen together at Disney World that summer.)

“Katie has safeguarded Suri and she’s a devoted mom,” an insider told us. “This is a girl who is a private citizen. She hasn’t lived her life in public.”

Holmes, who filed for divorce from Tom when Suri was only 6 years old in June 2012, revealed in November 2013 court docs that she left the “Jerry Maguire” star “to protect Suri  from Scientology ,” a religion that is often referred to as a cult.

“Suri is not a Scientologist and never will be … she deserves love and sympathy,” former Scientology spokesperson Mike Rinder told Page Six.

Under the radar but islands also worth visiting such as Hydra and Naxos are also included. Caribbean sailings are also among the first itineraries traveling to Saint Barthélemy (St Barths), Nevis, the Grenadines, St Lucia, Barbados, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Curaçao and Aruba. Among the itineraries announced this week are five-, seven- and nine-night voyages that include legendary ports of call such as Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Monte Carlo, Capri, Positano, Taormina, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia plus lesser-known gems including Italy’s Portovenere, France’s Fréjus and Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Spain’s Ciutadella de Menorca and Malta’s Gozo. The largest accommodations are seven signature suites ranging from 2,981 to 9,975 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space offering two to three bedrooms, separate living rooms, indoor and outdoor dining space, splash pools, outdoor showers, and the option to connect to additional suites. The largest, the 9,975 square foot Funnel Suite, includes four levels of living space and floor to ceiling wraparound windows. All feature a design described by Fredrik Johannson, partner and executive director of Tillberg Design of Sweden as welcoming in the same way that the group’s resorts are but unique to the yacht. “It had to have this incredibly elegant aura to it without being over-the-top opulent,” he says. “To this end, we strove for a beautiful simplicity with the interiors.”

Elsewhere on the yacht are 11 dining options, spa and wellness offerings and a 65 foot long stern pool. Taking care of all are staff members on a 1:1 guest to staff ratio, along the lines of what Four Seasons regulars experience on land. And there will be at least 41 opportunities to experience it; that number of sailings at this point is planned for the first year; more may be added.

Cruise ship rescues 68 migrants adrift in Atlantic

A cruise ship rescued 68 people adrift on a fishing boat off the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, the cruise operator, Oceania Cruises, said Thursday.

The ship, the Insignia, was near the end of a 180-day trip around the world when it received a distress call about the boat.

"We can confirm that Insignia rescued 68 people from a vessel in distress between Cape Verde and Tenerife and [brought] them onboard for medical assistance and provided food, drinks, clothing and a safe place to rest," Oceania Cruises said in a statement to CBS News. "We have coordinated next steps with authorities in Tenerife, and they will be taking over the care of the rescued people." 

Henry Tom, a cruise ship passenger from Vancouver, Canada, told CBS News that it took a couple of hours to rescue the people on the fishing boat and that about five people on the boat were dead. 

The Associated Press reported the crew was able to recover three of the five bodies on the small boat, known as pirogue, but were unable to recover the remaining two because of bad weather. The news agency said an oil tanker first spotted the drifting boat south of the island of Tenerife. Authorities diverted the Insignia cruise ship to rescue the migrants. 

The migrants were from Africa, Henry Tom, the passenger, said. "We believe they were from Senegal. Not 100% sure," he said. He said they were placed in the Insignia Lounge, where the ship hosts live performances, and that passengers were donating shoes and clothing for the migrants, whom he said had been at sea between 20 and 30 days. 

Spain recorded 55,618 migrants arrived by sea — most of them to the Canary Islands — last year, almost double the number from 2022. More than 23,000 have landed so far this year, according to the Interior Ministry.

MADRID (AP) — A cruise ship rescued 68 migrants and found five bodies in a traditional fishing boat that was drifting off the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, Spain’s maritime rescue agency said Thursday.

It said an oil tanker traveling from northwestern Spain to Brazil spotted the drifting boat on Wednesday afternoon about 815 kilometers (506 miles) south of Tenerife, one of the seven islands in the Canaries archipelago.

Spanish authorities diverted the Insignia, a cruise ship, to rescue the migrants. The Insignia crew also recovered three of the five bodies on the fishing boat. The remains of two people were left at sea because of bad weather hampering their recovery.

The canoe-shaped boats, known as pirogues, are used by fishermen in Mauritania and Senegal.

It is unusual for cruise ships to make rescues of migrants on the Atlantic route, but the pirogue “was a long way out and they could be in danger,” said a maritime rescue’s spokesperson, speaking on condition of anonymity under departmental rules.

One of the passengers on the cruise ship, Steve Dilbeck from Huntington Beach, California, said they were not told about the dead.

“They did say the boat had been at sea for 20 days,” Dilbeck told The Associated Press in a text message. “We were diverted in the evening and took us two hours to reach them. They were brought on board and placed in the Insignia Lounge, which is where they have all their shows.”

“The area has been closed off to passengers. Told they had them remove their clothes and put on jumpsuits. Then they asked passengers if they had shoes and clothes they could donate, particularly for men. Their announcement said 62 were men, with the rest women and children,” he added.

The Marshall Islands-flagged Insignia had left Mindelo, a port city in Cape Verde, on Tuesday. Its operator, Miami-based Oceania Cruises, did not immediately comment on the rescue.

The Spanish rescue agency emailed a statement saying the Insignia is expected to arrive on Friday at the port of Santa Cruz, Tenerife.

The Canary Islands is a destination for boats packed with migrants departing from northwestern Africa on a perilous Atlantic route in search of a better life in Europe.

Spain’s Interior Ministry says a record 55,618 migrants arrived by boat — most of them in the Canary Islands — last year, almost double the number of the previous year. More than 23,000 have landed so far this year, the ministry said.

The Spanish nonprofit organization Caminando Fronteras (Walking Borders) says more than 5,000 migrants have died so far this year through May while trying to reach Spanish coasts, most of them on the Atlantic route. The figure for all 2023 was 6,600, more than double the number for 2022.
