1-2 STUDENTS. 9am-1pm every Thursday/Friday & Saturday/Sunday from Jun24-Aug 20 inclusive. Typically adult lessons are done in this format with 2 students in each class. 2 days of instruction 4 hours/day. Please book with us on the Thursday or the Saturday for your 2 day class. 8 hours - $210.00 per person.

GYC “Learn to Sail” Program The “Learn to Sail” Program is designed to provide children 7 years of age and older with a solid introduction to sailing. This program is taught by certified CYA instructors who have life saving and first aid certificates. Emphasis is put on safety, fun and great learning experiences for young sailors.

This program provides the newcomer with a taste of what cruising under sail is all about. It is an opportunity to experience first hand what sailing is about without committing to a full Learn to Cruise Program. The program can be shared as a couple, or a group. The Gimli Yacht Club, located on the shores of Lake Winnipeg is home to a large flotilla of keelboats & a number of dinghies. This club offers sailing lessons for children and adults from White Sail to Bronze Sail levels. You could enjoy club racing every Wednesday evening for keel boaters and numerous regattas during the summer.
