Na Pali Experience

Kauai's pristine Na Pali Coast stands out among Hawaii's many beautiful coastlines for its rugged and striking beauty. Lush, verdant cliffs rise dramatically out of the ocean to heights of over 4,000 feet (1,200 meters).

Much of this 17-mile stretch of coastline is unreachable by land because of its remote location and sheer cliffs. Hikers can view approximately one-third of the coastline by walking the strenuous 11.2-mile Kalalau trail. You can only see the rest of Na Pali by air or boat.

Native Hawaiians used outrigger canoes to reach the beautiful beaches and valleys of Na Pali. Today, only ambitious kayakers attempt this challenging paddle during the nicest summer weather.

We have toured the Na Pali coast several ways (top of Waimea Canyon, a sunset cruise from the west side, powered hang gliders when they were operating) and this experience outdid them all. Captain Lance and Crewman Miguel gave an astounding tour, complete with wildlife sitings, great history and information, and wonderful snorkeling with the turtles. We could tell Capt. Lance loves the sea and is very knowledgeable about ocean conditions. He was able to take us into three sea caves safely. We had a delightful afternoon. We highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Kauai. Totally worth the time and money.

"The 35’ Deluxe Catamaran “Cadillac of the Caves” was AMAZING! Do not miss this when you’re in Kauai. Brian and Capt. Nate were fun, kind, knowledgeable, patient…all the things. They personally made sure every single person was comfortable and having fun the whole time. They shared tons of knowledge about Kauai and the Napali coast, played music, made us laugh, and were obviously capable and at ease on the ocean. The deluxe catamaran was big enough to be comfortable, but small enough to fit in caves and be an exciting ride. My husband and 7 year old sat in bench seats in the middle of the boat, while my 10 year old and I rode up front for a more exciting ride. We stopped to snorkel and they provided good equipment. They also put out snacks and drinks while we were in the water. They made sure everyone had enough time in the water and didn’t feel rushed back. Our family all took Dramamine the night before and again about an hour before we got on the boat, and we all felt fine the whole time. Do take similar precautions if you’re at all worried about sea sickness. I cannot recommend this company and experience highly enough. It was one of my favorite days ever! It was the experience of a lifetime to take in the gorgeous scenery in such a fun and exciting way. The experience and memories are worth the price. Book it!

The raft ride was exhilarating but surprisingly comfortable. It rained a bit but they were ready with rain jackets. It only added to the fun and quickly passed. We saw tons of spinner dolphins, went into a cave and did a fun turn-about, and snorkeled on our way back. Highly recommend.

My first time snorkeling and I had a blast! The crew was personable, professional, and even offered me prescription goggles. This was a solo activity for me and I met some very nice people. Restrictions: This is a barefoot tour(remove footwear before boarding). Only orthopedic shoes are allowed. Kids ages 5 and over are allowed for the snorkeling tours. They must be able to walk across a boarding ramp without assistance—no expectant mothers.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of tours within 48 hours (before the activity date) will be charged at 100% of the activity cost.

This was fantastic and worth the cost for a family of five. My 3 teenagers had a great time and I know we will not forget the experience. We saw dolphins and watching the sail being raised was great. The food was good especially lunch and there were plenty drinks. The snorkeling was fun but not much to see in the water, of coarse not there fault. Book this one for morning and you won’t regret it.

Kauai Tours was awesome today. We saw dolphins, whales, and turtles when we snorkeled. Matt and his team were simply terrific! They treated us so well, great food, good beer served. We did the HoloHolo catamaran snorkel/sail today. It was perfect!! The crew (Wade and Max) were fun, professional, and extremely helpful. The captain, Kelly, was so incredibly talented! They’re all amazing! We snorkeled w a sea turtle and saw dozens of dolphins An absolutely perfect day!!
