In the wake of the first unit, Hull F73, now M.Y. Magari that, since her presentation, met with such an outstanding audience success among the yachting lovers and operators that she was awarded with the Nautical Design Awards for the “BEST INTERIOR DESIGN 2011”, Codecasa Shipyards built “on spec.” the second unit of the CODECASA 42 – Vintage Series , Hull F75 . Same as Hull F73, also Hull F75 , completed in July 2013, has remarkable interior volumes, composed of two spacious salons, four large Guests’ Cabins, one Owner’s Suite located on the forward main deck, in addition to fully equipped service areas and comfortable exterior spaces throughout the three decks.

The interior design, once again entrusted to the in-house Interior Designers’ skilful hands, Franco and Anna Maria Dellarole, even if it recalls the previous hull in its lines as well as in the ivory finishing of the wood used for furniture and walls, becomes different for some more decided style choices, such as the dark mahogany wood flooring in all Guests’ and Owner’s areas. From a technical point of view, the top speed of 16,5 knots assured by the twin 1650 Hp each CAT engines, the 75.000 liters fuel oil capacity, the warrantee offered by the Certifications released by worldwide re-known Classification Societies, like MCA and Lloyd’s Register, make this 42 meters a safe Yacht, suitable for long cruises in any weather conditions.

Omega’s Seamaster Regatta Is an Analog-Digital Quartz Watch for the 37th America’s Cup By: Ethan Brehm Published: Sep 16, 2024 Whether you’re tired of America’s Cup watch releases or not, this new regatta timer from Omega stands out from the crowd. About a month ago, the Swiss watchmaker — who’s the Official Timekeeper of the America’s Cup — debuted a special-edition Seamaster diver for the 37th installment of the yacht race. It was a change of pace from the chronographs that brands usually roll out with. Instead, this model was a simple three-hand, no-date timepiece with a regatta-style bezel and some other nods to the legendary event, which is the longest-running sporting competition to date. For its latest America’s Cup release, Omega is piggybacking off the previous Seamaster by adding a regatta timer and a digital display to make this watch a true hybrid piece. The Regatta Timer Unlike a standard chronograph , which counts its minutes upwards (like a regular timekeeper), a regatta timer reserves one of its subdials for counting down . This is due to the unique nature of competitive sailing, which doesn’t have a standing start grid. Instead, the boats must get as close to the starting line as possible without crossing it before the race starts. This is a tricky task and requires a tool that can count down to 0, with a pre-start section separated by five-minute intervals. Omega Seamaster Regatta Basics Part of the X-33 family of analog-digital hybrid tool watches — typically Speedmaster-like chronographs intended for space travel — the Seamaster Regatta is a dive watch made for sailors. Equipped with a modest 50m of water resistance (last month’s Seamaster America’s Cup was rated at 300m), this model is the first time the Seamaster diver has been made into an X-33. Perhaps against-type for the luxury brand , the X-33s are known for their digital-analog displays and quartz (not mechanical) movements. Like other models, the Seamaster Regatta is housed in a grade 5 titanium case that looks just like previous Seamasters. Here, it stretches a staggering 46.75mm across, which is even bigger than the flagship X-33 Skywalker by nearly 2mm. Regardless, the lug-to-lug is still a wearable 48.5mm, while weighing just over 3oz due to the lightweight nature of titanium. Visually, this watch matches the previous America’s Cup watch with red, white, and blue colors, and even has an identical handset with a skeletonized design as well. Where it’s visible, however, the dial is blue instead of white, but still retains the same wave pattern across. Instead of the regatta timer, the ceramic bezel has a classic 60-minute timing tool like that of a standard diver.  Aside from the top and bottom digital displays, which are connected in a sort of hourglass fashion, the LCD screens are also given to the moonphase indicator on the right side and the regatta indicator on the left. Using the set of four pushers, you can also toggle and activate other functions such as a standard chronograph timer, a temperature gauge, an accelerometer, three alarms, and even a sailing logbook. For nighttime visibility, there’s a beautiful lume given to the hands, hour markers, and bezel markers. Unlike last month’s watch, which featured a see-through caseback with the movement inside, this X-33-style piece has a closed caseback, but one that’s embossed with the logo for the 37th America’s Cup. Lastly, the watch is adorned with a blue integrated rubber strap.
