'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' 's Paget Berry Engaged to Girlfriend Johana Mills: 'I Am Super Stoked'

Paget Berry is officially off the market.

On Sunday, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star announced via Instagram that he is engaged to his girlfriend Johana Mills, sharing a montage of the couple's special moments including his proposal set to "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" by Looking Glass.

"I was very lucky myself to meet a 'Harbor town girl' last year who showed me the sights and sounds of Newport when I first arrived on a boat⛵️," he captioned the video.

Berry recalled how he fell for Mills almost immediately.

"Our first date meal was Mexican, which was messy eating," he shared. "So I waited for Jo to use the bathroom so I could stuff in as much as I could before she got back 😂 The look of confusion briefly passed her face as to where had most of the food gone 😅"

Added Berry, "For me it was pretty much love at first sight, it might have taken Jo a little while after that first date as I ate 70% of the food 😂 A questionable trait in a partner!"

Berry concluded his post with a heartfelt message for Mills that spelled out why she is the one for him.

"The food apart there is no one I'd rather laugh, life with, cry, dance, and attempt all sorts of accents with than you Johana," he wrote. "I am so proud of you and all that you are achieving and I am super stoked to be your Fiancé and future husband🤵🏼👰🏽‍♀️ Never change ❤️"

Berry's now-fiancée sweetly responded in the comment section, writing, "I'm glad we share nachos 50/50 now 😂 couldn't be luckier to be your future wife ❤️"

The reality star then jokingly replied, "woah woah 50:50?! More like 60/40 darling 😂"

The couple became Instagram-official in November 2021. Berry shared a montage of their adventures in Costa Rica.

Paget was thrilled to be there with the three ladies. Fans learned that Daisy and Paget recently worked together on a yacht.

The three ladies couldn’t help but want to know what Paget was doing since becoming a single man.

“I am currently in Newport, Rhode Island on the East Coast, and yeah, we’re pretty much based here for the summer,” he shared. “I don’t really know what else I am really doing with my life. I’m just going to work and see where it goes.”

Paget joked that he’s all business Monday through Friday but does do bad things on the weekends. Dani, Alli, and Daisy all knew exactly what he was talking about. After all, it’s the yachtie way of life.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum also shared that he and Ciara are still in each other’s lives despite the break up. Paget dished they speak regularly.

Would Paget return to Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

Alli point-blank asked Paget if he would be open to a return to Below Deck Sailing Yacht, assuming the Bravo show will go on after Season 2 is over.

“Yes! If they wanted me back, I would be very open to it,” he expressed.

The three ladies also asked who would be on Paget’s dream Below Deck crew. They gave him the option of anyone from all three installments.

“Captain Glenn is obviously a mainstay. Even if he wasn’t, he would make the list,” Paget shared.

Daisy would be his chief stew. Dani as a second stew. In terms of a deck team, Paget went for Colin Macy-O’Toole and João Franco from Below Deck Mediterranean. Paget is friends with João and thinks Colin would be a fun guy to be around. The chief engineer spot went to Colin Macrae.

Adam Glick and Natasha De Bourg are two chefs that Paget never wants to work with, while Ben Robinson is his dream chef.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Stars Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry Split After 9-Month Engagement, Find Out if They’re Still on Good Terms

Below Deck Sailing Yacht alums Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry have called off their engagement.

Following a nine-month engagement, Ciara and Paget have split, but the two are seemingly still on good terms. Ciara shared the bad news on Instagram after a curious fan commented on a recent photo asking if she and the former first mate are still together.

“Are you still with Paget? Haven’t seen him in your pics lately… So pretty,” the fan wrote. Ciara responded, “Thank you! And negative.”

Once fans saw the news, several weighed in by telling Ciara she’s probably better off without Paget, who struck up a flirty relationship with a former stew, Georgia Grobler , while on the show.

“After seeing his behavior with one of the stews , you are so much better off without him,” one person commented. “You deserve better!”

“He was a douche,” said another.

However, the deckhand was quick to defend her ex-fiancé as she asked her followers to “be respectful.”

“Guys please be respectful, no need to bash anyone’s character,” she proclaimed. “We’re still on friendly terms.”

Unlike most boatmances within the Below Deck franchise, Ciara and Paget were actually together for several years prior to joining season one of the show. They met and fell in love when Ciara’s parents hired Paget to teach them about sailing.

Though their relationship was tested by Georgia, they declared their bond was stronger than ever once the season ended, and they announced their engagement via Instagram in July 2020.

“Well folks, it finally happened,” Ciara wrote in the since-deleted Instagram post per Bravo TV , along with a ring emoji and a smiley face.

Captain Glenn Shephard even discussed the pair’s potential wedding earlier this year when he was asked if he’d be officiating.

“I don’t know if I’m going to officiate, but I definitely plan to be there,” he told Us Weekly on February 24.

The former couple had also purchased a home together in France, which Paget dished to Bravo about in June 2020.

“We recently purchased a house in France a few months ago, so that’s a big step forward in our relationship,” he gushed at the time. “I’ve always said, ‘Look, the day you wake up and you don’t like me or you don’t love me, you just tell me, and we’ll deal with it when it comes.'”

The sailor shared a touching montage of the couple together on his Instagram, including the moment he got down on one knee and proposed. 'For me it was pretty much love at first sight,' he wrote in the caption.

The couple first went public in November 2021, sharing another video montage of them enjoying life together.

The relationship happened around one year after his split from Below Deck costar Ciara Duggan. 

Berry and Duggan started dating in 2016. Four years later they went on to star on the Bravo show, which focuses on the lives of the crew members who work and reside aboard a sailing yacht during a charter season.

The couple got engaged in July 2020, after the first season, however they split in March 2021.

'There were a lot of reasons that it kind of broke down,' he told Us Weekly following the breakup in April of 2021. 

'Being in France, we weren’t quarantining, we weren’t stuck together or anything like that. We were there just kind of living life. But, you know, I was taking temporary jobs, and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons,' he revealed.

Neither of them returned for a second season of the show.

A spin-off of the original show ‘ Below Deck ,’ Bravo’s ‘ Below Deck Sailing Yacht ‘ is a reality TV show that gives us a glimpse into the lives of the crew members aboard a luxurious sailing yacht during charter seasons as they sail through different parts around the world. What makes the series even more gripping is that it details the interpersonal relationships of the crew members as they deal with some difficult challenges during their journey.

The show has provided fans with ample drama over the years, from budding romantic relationships to some unexpected guests. One of the popular couples that made a mark on the reality show was Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry when they appeared together in the inaugural season. Ciara and Paget’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht Journey

Ciara Duggan spent most of her childhood and adolescent days in her family’s sailing catamaran, which got her interested in yachting for a living. Much like Ciara, Paget – who was born and raised in England – was interested in sailing from his early teen years. Although both, Ciara and Paget, had several years of experience in the yachting industry, it was their first time working together in the same department. Right off the bat, Paget had trouble figuring out how to act as Ciara’s boss and boyfriend at the same time, which made him question their four-year-long relationship. As the season passed, Paget got closer to another crew member named Georgia and even got caught in a compromising position with her by Ciara. Naturally, this raised some tensions between the couple.

Despite facing so many ups and downs during the course of the season, Ciara remained optimistic as she was excited about her career and future with Paget. After the inaugural season of the reality show was done airing, Paget proposed to Ciara, and the couple got engaged in July 2020 while they were in Italy. They shared the news on social media while several cast members expressed their excitement in the comment section. However, since late 2020, fans have noticed that Ciara and Paget have not been featuring on each other’s social media posts. This has got all of us questioning if the couple has called it quits?

Are Ciara and Paget Still Together?

Unfortunately, Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry decided to go their separate ways after several months of engagement. In April 2021, Ciara confirmed the break-up on social media in the comment section of one of her posts when a fan asked if she was still engaged to Paget. Later that month, in an interview with Us Weekly , she revealed that they called it quits in December 2020 because she was not as invested in the relationship anymore.

Ciara explained, “We were there just kind of living life, but you know I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons.” However, she added that there were no bad feelings between them as she and Paget ended things on good terms. Apparently, they even continued to interact occasionally.

Presently, Paget Berry is in a happy relationship with his new girlfriend, Johana Mills. A video he posted in November 2021 hints that they may have started dating sometime then. Johana is a regular presence on his social media, and the new couple looks very much in love. On the other hand, Ciara appears to have found the love of her life — her dog, Yuki. She introduced Yuki to her fans in April 2022 and hasn’t stopped posting about him ever since then. Apart from that, it seems that she has a lot more time to focus on her career and herself. What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5? Here's what we know

W hat happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5? That’s the question on fans’ minds after it was revealed Below Deck Med Season 9 will air following Below Deck Season 11.

Ever since Below Deck Sailing Yacht premiered on Bravo, it has followed the OG show.

Below Deck Med would then hit Bravo airwaves once the sailing show had wrapped it’s run.

That’s the way it’s been for the past four years, except for last year when Below Deck Down Under Season 2 aired after Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

So why all of a sudden is there a switch in the schedule, especially since Below Deck Med Season 8 just ended in January?

Let’s take a look at what we know.

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5?

The reason for the change-up likely has to do with the sexual misconduct allegations that came out against Gary King after Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was filmed.

Leaked photos revealed that Daisy Kelliher and Gary were back for another stint aboard Parsifal III with Captain Glenn. The two of them returning was music to fans’ ears as they helped make Below Deck Sailing Yacht a huge success with Colin MacRae.

However, a couple of weeks later, news broke that a member of the production team came out via Rolling Stone to accuse Gary of unwanted sexual advances and harassment. Gary was soon removed from the BravoCon 2023 list, making clear Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be in trouble.

Unlike when Peter Hunziker was fired by Bravo for a racist post and then edited out of the season, Gary has not been fired from the show. Plus, editing Gary out really wouldn’t be an option because he plays such a pivotal role and makes a good story even if fans don’t like him.

All of this means that what would have been Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be scrapped. Should that be the case, a new season of the sailing show won’t air for a long time.

Then again, maybe the powers that be are still trying to figure out how to save the season with Gary, and they just need more time.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans share thoughts on schedule change

A Reddit thread devoted to the Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht swap had fans buzzing.

“I would absolutely be okay with a delay if it means not having to watch Gary. I’m not sure I’ll even watch if he’s on it, especially since Colin isn’t. And Glenn the enabler has went from being best captain to #3 now…,” wrote one user.

Another admitted to liking the sailing show with Daisy but could do without Gary and would be fine if Season 5 never aired.

“AS IT SHOULD BE. Bravo needs to learn- you hire racists, you hire sexual abusers, you’re going to lose money. The end.” was another remark.

A different user doesn’t think the season will air and noticed Daisy switched her Instagram bio, so that may be a clue that Season 5 will never see the light of day. There was also speculation that Below Deck spin-offs will soon be combined for money reasons.

“That is a possibility or they’re still editing the heck out of it to reduce his role as much as possible but that has got to be a monumental task. I doubt they’d scrub an entire season but maybe more things have come out behind the scenes we’re unaware of and they have to do what they have to do especially with all the negative publicity they’re getting with Andy Cohen lately.” declared another user.

Along with Below Deck Sailing Yacht being pushed back, Below Deck Down Under fate seems to be up in the air. As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Captain Jason Chambers asked for fans’ help with Season 3.

Captain Glenn Shepard helmed Parsifal III in Season 1 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and he remained in the show right until Season 4. The season ended in July last year and Season 5 was said to film last year in the summer. But a premiere date hasn’t yet arrived. Has it been canceled or just delayed?

Gary King took over as the first officer from Paget Berry in Season 2. He soon became front and center in a confrontation with Alli Dore , the 3rd stewardess. She liked Gary a lot, but he flirted with Sydney Zaruba, the deckhand, who happened to be topless in the hot tub. So, Alli ranted about him. But worse was to follow.

Canceled Or Delayed? Cast Open Up On Social Media

Alli Dore was central to a lot of scenes on the show under Captain Glenn Shephard. She admitted that filming was a challenge . And now she kickstarted a conversation about the Bravo show. That could mean two things. Either the show is about to announce a premiere date for Season 5. Or, it could mean that it’s further delayed or canceled.

Later in the comments, she mentioned , “Just realised @king_gk isn’t in any of these pics whoops I swear that was an accident 😂🤭”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Captain Glenn Shephard responded by saying, “What a season! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.” Well, Alli thanked him for being a great captain. But said nothing about him soon helming the yacht again. Lots of fans said that they want the show to come back. But there was no response to any demands or questions.

I really, really hope they haven’t cancelled it!! Daisy was a great Chief Stew and it was one of the best Below Deck spin offs. I would really miss it if they have.

Andy started things off by asking Paget's girlfriend, Ciara Duggan , "the number one question" he had received from fans: "Were you really not bothered by the flirting Paget was doing with Georgia, and do you think that Georgia crossed a line?"

"No, I'm honestly not bothered," Ciara said in response. "I think Georgia could have gone about it in a more respectful way and so could Paget. But honestly, I'm not gonna fight for somebody that doesn't want me."

Ciara then explained that "seeing a taken man as being taken and off-limits" would have been "more respectful" to her.

Georgia responded to Ciara's comments by saying that she is just a naturally flirtatious person. "I mean, if I have to ask the crew to raise their hand if I hadn't flirted with them during the season, the only person that would be would be Adam [Glick] ," she said. "I'm pretty sure I told Glenn [Shephard] I wanted to marry him for a green card as well."

Paget said that he had similar interactions with everyone in the Parsifal III crew. "A lot of it, like when it's on a boat when you're working with people in a confined space, you find friendships with people when you can have banter and you know that you can sort of overstep the boundaries of joking," he explained. "I didn't only do that with Georgia; it was with everybody, even with Byron [Hissey] at times as well."

However, Georgia said she understands how her behavior with Paget looked this season. "When you do take it out of context, it is inappropriate," she shared. "So 100 percent, watching it back, Ciara should have thrown me overboard a long time ago."

Paget also showed remorse for his actions. "I have apologized because I literally have to think about if it was Ciara in that situation, if I was Ciara, it would probably hurt me as well," he said. "So there's no way that I could sit there watching it back and not say anything."

Georgia memorably admitted to Ciara that she had "been having a bit of a thing" for Paget during the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 finale. "I didn't think it was right to snake Ciara like that, so I just kind of had to confess before I left," Georgia said of the moment during the reunion.

Andy asked Paget if he was attracted to Georgia, and if he were single this season, would he have "gone after her." "I probably would have not, just because that for me, in a workplace, if you're working, you're single, the flirt's all good," he explained. "But I don't think I would have started a relationship while working."

Ciara said she wasn't sure if she believed Paget or not. "I don't know, I kind of feel like he's trying to keep himself from being slapped right now," she said with a laugh.

Ciara also confirmed that threesome invitation she seemed to give Georgia during one of the crew's nights out this season "was never on the table." Georgia said she wouldn't have been up for that anyway. "No, I'm a main course, not a mezze platter," she quipped.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht couple also gave a little insight into how they have maintained their longtime relationship while also working together. "To be honest, we work in different departments, so we hardly see each other," Ciara said.

And when they do need some alone time, the bathroom has proven to be a good place to get it. "The only time we would really have together would be in the bathroom, and that was to relieve a little tension," Paget said.

Paget and Ciara are still together and currently living and working on a boat in Italy . As far as what's next for their relationship, they both said they see themselves getting engaged within the next year during their appearance on WWHL: @ Home  on April 13.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Daisy Kelliher Reveals Sister Was in a Serious Moped Accident

Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s Daisy Kelliher says it’s a “miracle” that her sister is alive after she was involved in a serious accident while traveling in Thailand.

Daisy, 37, shared the news in two posts via Instagram, in which she outlined how a moped accident landed her sister Bonnie in the hospital, needing surgeries on her chest, face and brain.

The chief stew, who has been on board Sailing Yacht since season 2, says the accident happened last Thursday, June 13, and that by Saturday, her parents were on a plane to Thailand. Daisy joined them on Wednesday.

“I…sat by her side on her 34th birthday, with the extent of her injuries it’s quite a miracle she’s alive and we all feel optimistic and positive with time she will make a full recovery,” Daisy wrote in her second post , adding a safety message for future travelers.

She continued, “The only reason I am sharing this information (with my families permission) is to promote a few things. For anyone who might see this who is going on holiday or travelling or anything like this. Please don’t get on the moped and if you do wear a helmet and have insurance (no helmet, no insurance). My family have seen several people over the weeks be admitted and not all have been as lucky as Bonnie. Also always look out for your friends. If it hadn’t have been for Bonnie’s friend who she met out here things could have been different. It was her who realised Bonnie didn’t come home, who found her in the hospital (as she had no phone) and was able to reach us. If it wasn’t for her things could have been different.”

The accompanying photos show Daisy and Bonnie drinking by a pool, posing for selfies and spending time with friends. The two posts have garnered more than 2,000 comments, many of them from friends and fans wishing Bonnie well.

Glenn Shephard , who has served as the captain on Sailing Yacht since season 1 , was one of the first to comment. He said that he lost a “close friend” in a “very similar situation” and echoed Daisy’s support for helmets.

“Scooters and motorcycles scare the s–t out of me, it’s usually someone else’s fault but with zero protection, it often doesn’t end well,” he wrote. “Stay away from them and if you have to ride one definitely with a helmet and insurance.”

Daisy also praised hospital staff as Bonnie has moved from the ICU to a “normal room.” She expects her sister to stay in the hospital for at least another two weeks.

“Bonnie is in a fantastic hospital and the staff have been incredible,” she wrote. “There’s a long road to recovery but we have had so much support.”

She concluded: “We hope by sharing this story it may save a life or save another person or family having to go through this. We can’t quite believe how close we were to losing her.”

This Below Deck Star Needs To Take Full Responsibility If Sailing Yacht Season 5 Gets Canceled

• Georgia Grobler, a former reality star on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, has moved on from her yachting career and is now focusing on modeling and music.
• Despite her initial lack of experience in yachting, Georgia found her groove on the show and became a master in the laundry room.
• Georgia had a platonic friendship with first mate Paget Berry, despite having a small crush on him, and never acted on her feelings.

Georgia Grobler seems to have moved on from her career in yachting since appearing on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1. During her time on the show, Georgia worked as the third stew alongside second stew Madison Stalker and chief stew Jenna Macgillivray. In the beginning, Georgia felt like a fish out of water considering that she had very little experience in the yachting world prior to Below Deck . Even though Jenna was a bit hard on her at first, she had Madison to keep her from quitting.

As Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1 went on, Georgia found her groove and became a master in the laundry room. She even developed a close working relationship with her chief stew, despite Madison's hatred towards her. Georgia even had a small crush on first mate Paget Berry. However, Paget happened to be in a relationship with deckhand Ciara Duggan, who ended her engagement with Paget in 2021. Nonetheless, Georgia never acted on those feelings and kept her friendship with Paget as platonic as it could be.

Georgia Began Modeling After Below Deck

Georgia has been dabbling in the modeling world for the last couple of years. Georgia also loves to sing and shares videos of her music on her YouTube channel. With most posts showcasing modeling, traveling, and singing, it seems like the former reality star has chosen to put her yachting career behind her. Besides her work, Georgia was back in the Below Deck chatter after Mzi Dempers from Below Deck Mediterranean revealed that they knew each other.

Georgia and Mzi's Past Explained

Following the Below Deck Med season 6 premiere, new deckhand Mzi admitted that he hooked up with Georgia a few times in the past. During an interview with CheatSheet , Mzi revealed that he and Georgia began their friendship after they met in 2017. " I wouldn’t say it was necessarily dating, but it was like hooking up every now and then over a period of time ," Below Deck Med season 6 star Mzi said of their relationship.

Despite both of them having careers in yachting, the pair met while on land in South Africa. They met after a friend invited Georgia as Mzi's date to a formal dinner, a tradition that is popular in South Africa. Interestingly enough, they didn't speak much before he joined the show. However, they did reconnect after he returned from filming. Mzi revealed that he and Georgia bonded over comparing notes regarding their experiences in the Below Deck franchise.

Since leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht behind, Georgia has seemingly left the yachting industry for good. For now, she's been focusing on her career in modeling and music instead. As for a return to the yachting industry, it seems like Georgia is doing just fine with her current career path as a model, singer, and newly-minted yoga instructor.
