We have 12 persons capacity + crew but if you are planning to spend overnight our recommendation its 8 people. One of the qualities of our catamaran it is the stability that will make you easy your adaptation to the sea even if it is your first time in a boat.

* Comfort pack includes 1 paddle surf board, snorkeling equipment, drone photo session, semi-rigid + outboard 20CV, towels sheets (both 1 set per week), and final cleaning.

Optional Extras

** Includes wind surfing, extra paddle surf board and 1.5 hours/day not cumulative of wakeboard or donut. Motorized activities can only be carried out in the permitted places and according to weather conditions.

How much does it cost to rent a catamaran in Ibiza?

Depending on whether you want to hire a catamaran in Ibiza for a half-day or a full week charter, you should keep in mind that prices increase during the high season. The Balearic islands start their season in May and typically run into the end of September. Another thing to take note of is that catamaran charters in normally start on Saturday and end on Saturday. Even though this is the case for traditional weekly charters, you can still find catamarans to hire for the day. Either way, with the popularity of Ibiza, we advise you to book well in advance. 

On average, renting a catamaran can cost between 350 to 400 euros for the day and around 5000 euros for a full week. If you need a skipper, that will be an additional cost running at about 150 euros per day. 

Do I need a license to rent a catamaran in Ibiza? 

When renting a catamaran, a license will be mandatory. In Spain, a license is required for boats longer than 6 meters. In addition to holding the proper license, you will need to complete a full nautical CV detailing the types of boats you have skippered and what waters you previously sailed. 

When is the best time to sail in Ibiza? 

Ibiza follows the perfect Mediterranean climate, which makes it pleasant all year round. The summers can get quite hot and dry and the sailing conditions are ideal for all sea lovers. The best time to swim and sail are typically during the months of July and August, but we think that anytime between March and September will be perfect enough to enjoy a week in one of the most beautiful sailing spots in the world. Of all our catamarans, the Lagoon 380, Lagoon 400, Lagoon 420, Lagoon 42, Lagoon 470 are the only catamarans that we are offering for day charter in Ibiza and Formentera, and not just for full weeks, but also for one-day Ibiza boat trips , even in the high season. Catamaran Ibiza Lagoon 380, one day charter fee for this season

These are the daily fees for our brand new catamaran Lagoon 380 that we offer for day boat charter in Ibiza to sail around the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. We can comfortably fit up to 12 people on board. This catamaran is more than a boat, it is a luxurious floating apartment of 77 m2 (11.60 mx 6.63 m) with stunning sea views.

• Our rental fees include: all taxes, VAT, skipper fee, cleaning fee, mooring, dinghy, and fuel.

With capacity for twelve people during the day and six, eight, or ten people to spend the night according to the specific model, you will have at your disposal much more than a charter boat, more than a typical sailboat for rent: you will enjoy a real floating luxurious apartment of 80 meters squared (11.60 m 6.70 m) with unbeatable sea views.

If you have been on board a traditional sailing boat, you will be amazed by the spacious and luxurious lounge with panoramic 360-degree views of this catamaran, with a large and comfortable dining table surrounded by leather sofas. In front of the chart table, there is a full kitchen with an oven, fridge, freezer and three-burner cooker. You will be as comfortable on this stunning boat as you are at home!

What else do I have to pay on a week charter?

• Please note that our catamarans are offered only as a skippered charter, so they are only rented with a professional skipper.
• Most charter boats require you to leave a security deposit that will be registered on the week charter booking agreement and will be returned after check out.
• The column, titled "extras", usually includes the required final cleaning fee.
• The fuel for the catamaran is not included in these fees. Just like when you rent a car, you will have to top off the tank when you finish your vacation. The average cost for fuel for a week-long charter on a catamaran is 300 euros for the entire week, or 15 euro per hour.
• The week charters are scheduled Saturday to Saturday, with check-in at 16:00h on Saturday and check-out at 9:00h the following Saturday. Since the catamaran needs to be back at port by Friday evening, you can spend Friday to Saturday night on board already back in the check-out point.
• The maximum number of occupants of each catamaran is detailed under the People column.
• In order to secure your reservation, you must pay a 50% deposit on your total rental fee and pay the remaining balance one month before your arrival. In some cases, you can pay your remaining balance in cash at check-in.

When the catamarans are rented only for a day charter with no overnight stay, the entire outside part of the vessel: nets, bow seats, dining table, sides, and flybridge is offered for our customers. Please note the interior living space and cabins will remain closed during day charters.

CHARTER FORMENTERA

A charter to Formentera is the stuff that dreams are made of. Just off the coast of Ibiza, Formentera is the smallest and most southerly of the Balearic Islands measuring around 20 km long and about 2 km wide. The beaches have some of the whitest sand that you can find in the Mediterranean and the sea is clear and a beautiful shade of turquoise. There’s a reason that it is often compared to islands in the Caribbean. There isn’t an airport, which helps to make the island even more exclusive, as you can only get there by boat. You can get to Formentera by boat in less than an hour from Ibiza Town and in only a few hours from San Antonio. Our charter Formentera package lets you sample some of its beautiful beaches, swim to some of its tranquil caves or dine in some of its renowned beach restaurants. The beach of Illetes was voted number 13 in the top 25 beaches in the world in Trip Advisor’s 2019 Travellers’ Choice, and when you see it, you’ll know why. You can also visit the nearby private and uninhabited island of Espalmador, which is also only accessible by boat.

Hiring a motorboat in Ibiza is a great way to explore the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, the beaches and its coves. A motorboat will get you where you want to go much faster and you can nip in and out of different beaches and discover more places in a short period of time. They are generally well equipped and excellent for those who want to see and be seen. You can also experience the thrill and shear adrenalin as the boat speeds full throttle across the sea.

When booking your charter, we can organise any additional requirements including speciality drinks, provisioning, lunch or dinner reservations or extreme watersports on your behalf. Both parties could be sure that money and services are in safe hands in the end. by the way, that was my biggest concern. therefore I also write this review. The reception was very friendly, the boat was well prepared, and a life jacket was organized for our child in no time at all. the skipper is very experienced, considerate and known to everyone on the way. So all-round top service, top communication, top people who cannot be surpassed in terms of authenticity. it was the best day of my entire vacation. keep it up.

The Lagoon 52 is our LARGEST catamaran. A luxurious and fully equipped boat to enjoy your holidays in Ibiza.

The exterior has four different zones:

• The stern with a table for 8 people and a comfortable Chaise Longe.
• The bow with sofas and loungers in the net, perfect for aperitifs or the famous Ibiza sunsets.
• The Fly bridge with the sofa and table for 8 people, with the best views of the catamaran and a large solarium.
• The hydraulic bathing platform, perfect for spending afternoons on the water and enjoying unforgettable moments.

The Lagoon 52 catamaran offers maximum comfort with a 220v generator to have everything you need connected, air conditioning with which you will have the temperature you need in each room and a seawater purifier so you don’t need to go to port to refuel! The bathing platform is wonderful, you can put it at the height you want to enjoy the best waters of the Mediterranean.

This boat has been designed with four cabins, each with a comfortable bed and storage space for belongings. Each cabin has its own bathroom, providing privacy and convenience for guests. The two bow piques are able to accommodate 2 more people, usually the skipper and / or hosts.

The Lagoon 42 is equipped with reliable navigation and sailing systems, making it easy to handle and maneuver. It features a powerful yet efficient engine, ensuring smooth sailing whether under sail or motor power.

Our Lagoon 42 is equipped with a 3.6 metre Zodiac and a 20 HP outboard motor. With this Zodiac you and your friends can enjoy exploring the coves of Ibiza. In addition we always equip our boats with a paddle surf board and if you want a second board you can book it.

If during the day charter you would like to go to different beaches as fast as possible, then a motorboat would be the best option, as it leaves more time to enjoy anchoring, swimming, going down to your favourite restaurant and you also spend less time getting back to port.

On the other hand, if you fancy a more relaxed day sailing and enjoying the wind, the most suitable option is a sailing boat, either a sailboat or a catamaran.

Another factor to take into account is whether you want to rent a boat in Ibiza just for the day or whether you want to spend several days or even weeks on board.

Normally each boat includes: Skipper, drinks (water, beer and soft drinks), snacks, towels, cleaning, Bluetooth connection, snorkelling equipment, paddle surf and full insurance.

Not included: Fuel consumption, extra drinks or special bottles, water toys and catering on board.

The sooner the better to be sure that you will have the boat you want available on the dates you want for your holiday in Ibiza. This is important as there is a lot of demand throughout the season.

Also, if you book well in advance, you can always enjoy good discounts depending on the boat rented.

Booking your boat with Be Charter Ibiza is very easy: we require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking to be paid by bank transfer, or by credit card through the online payment platform Stripe.

The remaining 50% of the charter, together with fuel and extras, is paid by credit card or cash on the day of the charter.
