Issues:
1. laying on block and leaking. DYC: “happens all the time, nothing to worry about.” Begrudgingly repaired after Capt. refused to leave without .
2. not staying on: DYC: Per Chris, apparently chief , “Bypass 50 amph fuse.” Result: entire line (approx 6’) catches fire, filled with smoke and fumes, repair-person flees to aft , passengers evacuated and placed in . Heat of burnt line joins with fumes from leaky disel bladder resulting in thickening of smoke. DYC doesn't care, and their typical MO is to buy off the charterer with a nominal amount of money, along with a signed agreement not to post poor reviews online. That's why you don't see as many bad reviews as one would expect.

Ours was DYC out of (Tahiti). Use Yacht Charters instead. Wonderful folks. Like the OP, we have done 17 charters, and the DYC experience was, by far, the worst. They ruined our . So much so, that we immediately booked another trip to FP to erase the experience.

The base is well run and the staff was friendly and professional. Our boat was on the older side (2013) but in basically good order and we had a great trip.

Not sure if it helps at all, but just to say that I’m not sure the entire company is to be considered a bad deal.

One one weekend charter, when I asked them to show me the location of the thru-hulls, they looked puzzled and asked "why?". The water tanks had not been topped off and we ran out of after first pot of coffee. The hatches were leaking water everywhere. etc.

It will only get worse with the of everything doubling..

46 "Premier Class" but received a notice that we had been switched to a Sun Odyssey 51.9. It turned out that the larger boat was a "comfort" class, a euphemism for a tired, trashed boat. The
sump didn't work, so we were reduced to two showers instead of three. The and were in taters and the see- through sections were opaque. When we asked for a price adjustment, they said that receiving a larger boat compensated for its poor condition!

The first time we raised the main, two sail slugs came off the . One was a broken bat car, the other a broken plastic slide. (Had they raised the main after the previous charter ended, this would have been discovered.) Also the dingy motor wouldn't start. We a day by the time they reached us to jury rig the slides (more on this below) and replace the dingy and motor.

The motor had an internal as well as external gas tank, which they failed to tell us. The external tank didn't work, despite squeezing the bulb until my hands ached. We ran out of gas in Charlotte Amalie bay and paddled to the closest dingy dock, which was used by the Coast Guard. The Coastie had no better luck with the motor but did take the cover off and poured gas from the external tank into the internal one. The motor started.

DYC came out the next day and "Jacoby" started the motor. Everything is OK, he said. Let's motor a bit I said. Three minutes later, the motor died. He said he would bring me a different model motor at 10:00 a.m. the next day. He arrived after noon. One half day .

With five days of our charter remaining, we left for and tried to raise the main. Four of the sail slides came off the mast! We managed to lower the sail in strong winds, lash it to the boom and return to our anchorage on Water Island. We called DYC and they said they had an "emergency" and couldn't reach us right away. So we motored back to the base at Point Marina.

The base manager Lisa said the retaining screw in the that prevents the sail slides from leaving the mast track was missing. The last person to touch that screw was "Dominic" from DYC when he jury rigged the first slide failure. By this time we had lost all confidence in the boat and DYC and were afraid of going to (24nm). We terminated the charter, changed our flights (at great cost and time) and flew home.

I can't say this too strongly: CHARTER A BOAT FROM DYC AT YOUR OWN RISK. You will see from other posts and Yelp that our experience wasn't unique. Why did we use them? That is another story not relevant on this thread.

Fantastic experience all round

Fantastic experience once again delivered by Dream Yacht Charters in the UK. Transparent pricing from the start and excellent value. Could not believe that the insurance indemnity was included in the price! Lorraine could not have worked harder to guide us on location and yachts to suit our needs. Any questions were dealt with quickly and professionally. The yacht we chartered met with our expectations and I have no doubt that had we experienced any difficulties at the base, Lorraine would have done her utmost to sort. Thank you for such a first class service. We will continue to charter from Dream Yacht Charters without reservation

Awful checkin experience in Olbia Italy. Boat are not ready nor checked: fuel was not done (they forgot… so we had to do it), dingy’s engine does not work, safety not respected, beddings rented are not available No management

Reply from Dream Yacht Charter

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. We've recently changed our cleaning crews and this did create some issues as the previous company was not up to standard and the boats needed recleaning, causing delays. We are sorry for your experience and please get in contact with your booking number if you want us to investigate further on [email protected]. Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team

Nightmare Yacht Charter

My husband and I, and several of our friends, recently returned from a trip with Dream Yacht Charter. (see full review at tripadvisor.com as this site limits length) Overall: service was terrible. Captain and crew were unprofessional, and abandoned the guests on the boat, which was unsafe. Captain would leave the boat unmanned for hours at a time, not returning until 3am.Captain and stew arguing in front of guests. Stew quit on us mid charter. Generator broke. We had no AC and limited clean water so we were told we could not shower. Food was not good. We spend our own money for provisions. Company will not make this right and refuses to offer us a reasonable compensation for a terrible experience. Stay far far away from this company. Kelsey D. Canton, OH, USA

Hello Kelsey, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so sorry to hear that your boat did not meet your expectations and fell below our standards. We see that your complaint has already been addressed by our customer experience team, and has been settled. Still, learning about your situation helps us understand where we need to improve and allows us to prevent it from happening again. Thank you for letting us know, the Dream Yacht team

Dream Yacht Charter Raiatea Bora Bora

We had a blast on a 5-days trip around Raiatea, Taha’a & Bora Bora. Conditions were exceptional so was the crew. We had a beautiful and confortable catamaran for the 7 of us with plenty of space. The crew was super friendly and knowledgeable bringing us to beautiful snorkelling and cultural places around the different islands. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

What an AMAZING experience

What an AMAZING experience. We’ve just returned from a week long skippered charter from Corfu, sailing around the beautiful islands of the Ionian. Paxos, Antipaxos and Corfu Old Town were beautiful and the secluded bays we had the pleasure of visiting thanks to our local skipper, Nicholas, were simply overwhelming. Fly and flops are no longer for us - we’ll be chartering with DYC for the foreseeable future. Shout out to our skipper who made the holiday as fantastic as it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Date of experience : July 02, 2022

Hi David, Thank you for your wonderful review. We're glad you had a great time with us in Corfu and we will pass your review to your captain :) We look forward to seeing you again soon with pleasure. The Dream Yacht Charter team.

Love the staff and service

We most recently chartered our first Catamaran in Exumas Islands, Bahama and had a magnificent experience. That was our 4th charter with Dream Yacht Charter and are very happy with the overall service, boats and staff at the base. All the bases we have visited are very busy- but we always feel we get what we need and are attended to. Love that they have bases all around the world. Have 2 more bookings this year - La Paz tomorrow and Naples, Italy in July. Never think about looking for alternative companies

Fantastic Charter - Great Trogir Base Manager and Staff

We chartered a 45ft catamaran. Boat was in excellent shape and we had no issues. Well equipped with chart book, extra propane and all other amenities. Base staff was super friendly and helpful and always asked us if everything was ok or if we needed anything when we passed them on dock. Base manager Tommi was super friendly and engaging, ensuring all of our needs were met and also took the time to suggest ports as well as booking slips for us. What a fabulous country and superb charter!

Friendly, professional & efficient

Just returned from a 1 week charter out of Pomer Marina, Croatia. The Dream charter team were 1st class throughout, Davor the base manager was professional, courteous & extremely competent. The yacht was spotlessly clean & ready for departure well before time. I highly recommend Dream Yacht Charter & will certainly use them again in the future.

Hello James and thank you for your review ! We are happy you had a great time with us and we look forward to welcoming you back onboard again ;) Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team.

Baja is my favorite place now

Baja is my favorite place now. There was something for everyone: sailed under northerlies with mostly calm evenings, snorkeled, fished, bummed it on the sandy beaches, enchanted by pelicans feeding, greeted by the barking sea lions and explored the Ispiritu Santo island geology. DYC La Paz base provided competent professional support with a well provisioned and maintained boat. We were nourished well by an onboard cook arranged with DYC freeing us all for more play. A vacation and an adventure connected with nature.

Dream yacht charter Dubrovnic…

Second charter to Aci Dubrovnic Croatia. From arriving early at the marina the team were fantastic. They were friendly and very efficient. The yacht handover was relaxed and the engineer was exceptionally helpful. With great information the team put you at ease and fill you with confidence that they are available should you need them. Thank you we will be back !

Appreciation to the DYC team in Zaton/Sibenik, Croatia

Unfortunately, our charter (Lagoon 42 Grand Tour) is over, boat was quite stable and we had a great time! Let me express my appreciation to the DYC team here in Zaton/Sibenik, Croatia and the quality of this boat (knowing a lot of other DYC bases and boats woldwide, since I am yacht owner at DYC myself). The boat maintenance and customer care is really recognizable good, fast and reliable. Very convenient and it supports a lot our life on board. Everybody felt very well. MERCI BEAUCOUP for this!!

We booked our Aug 2022 holidays in…

We booked our Aug 2022 holidays in Dubrovnik (Croatia) with Dream Charter via Boataround agency in Sept 2021. Initially booked catamaran FP44 Hellia. Easy communication with Boataround, 10% discount. I give Boataround 10/10. In June Dream Charter upgraded the catamaran to almost new FP47 Saona 'Beyond' for free. All went super. The boat was ready on time and by 18.00 we were heading to Korchula. The holidays were perfect. Questions about sensors operation (in Hvar city) on the yacht were answered by phone on time w/o any stress. Dream charter is offering easy communication, professional service 10/10. I would deal with them again.

I have chartered sailboats at least 15…

I have chartered sailboats at least 15 times. Hands down the worst experience ever, Thank goodness Montenegro was AWESOME. To begin our debacle, we chartered the Cat for 10 days. Had signed contract for months. They emailed later and said we couldn't have the boat for 10 days, but only 7. Tried to argue about signed contract, they basically said tough and too bad and if we continued, they would cancel charter entirely. Then we arrived already disappointed. There was literally NO chart briefing. First time ever on a charter. In fact we sent them an entire itinerary seeking their advice prior to arriving, they said that couldn't(wouldn't comment, seriously? The list of issues; 1 They asked our shoe size for fins when we chartered. They had 3 sets of fins/mask/snorkels on boat, random sizes. That's it. Many had their own they could have brought. We had 10 people on charter :( 2 The Port side bathrooms had water on floor. They coolant care less. Later they explained to us that to drain water from floor, turn on faucet to start floor pumps. Any easy fix that they didnt bother to tell us when we were concerned 3 The salon table was broken, we discovered this on our first day as we tried to convert it to a bed and it fell apart. This was the ONLY time they helped us. They actually sent someone to fix. Two bathroom door handles fell off every time u went to open door. They fixed one when they came out, not the other. 4 We rented internet(extra charge) We asked if it worked in sailing area, said they had no idea) we tried it for 35 Euro anyway. Worked for one day. When we pulled into a harbor and plugged into shore power after about 36 hours, it never worked the rest of trip and we had NO outlets for for days so couldn't use anyway. When asked how to fix the outlets, they hadn't a clue. When we returned to base, they found a fuse had "popped" A fuse box that was hidden and they never told us about during boat introduction. Seems to me someone from base should have been able to tell us about this issue and how to fix while we were on the move. We had to share a few USB ports to charges our phones so we could take photos. They refused to refund the 35 Euros for hotspot which we obviously couldn't use without outlets and it hadn't worked before that. :( 5 The stern of the boat floor was filthy!!!! 6 The dinghy gas can was a joke. It had NO air hole so trying to fill dinghy was quite difficult without spillage. Every other dinghy I'ver ever had was supplied with a 2.5 gallon gas tank so one could easily see when needed more. His motor had about a 2 quart gas(generous estimate) tank hidden under engine cover so had to check it every day and try to fill with a ridiculous gas can 7 We woke up one morning to 65 knot winds and pouring rain sideways and lightening. The base did not warn us of impending storm and heard nothing on the radio. We went to look for foul weather gear, Yup, U guessed it NONE. First boat EVER without two sets. During the storm, three moorings in the cove where we were staying in dragged boats 100 M. One boat decided to disconnect from the dragging mooring at our bough and as he cut across our bough, he clipped our boat. This cause the mooring line(from mooring) to snap. We spent the next 2-3 hours motoring into the wind until we could find another mooring to try. After storm passed, one of the taxis came out to us to see how we were. We reported what happened. A few hours later, the taxi was taking photos of our bow. We asked him why. He told us Dream yacht charters wanted photos. So they knew our plight and their only concern was the boat. The NEVER contacted us to warn us of storm OR to check on our safety after!!!!!!!! Even the captain of the boat that hit us returned to check on us after he left that bay!!!! Luckily they concluded we had no fault as the mooring line(from mooring broke) and another boat hit us. There was more, but I hope u get the point! Date of experience: June 2024

Not so nice

Good: uncomplicated check-in in Greece and nice marina with restrooms and restaurant. Bad: our ship was in very bad condition and looked dirty inside and outside. It was not equipped like it was offered to us. The staff did not respect our complaint and did not provide any discount, saying we are the last crew using the ship at the end of the season. Do not buy the WiFi, it never worked and was never useful. Not a good experience

Top experience!!

I am a seasoned skipper and have chartered with many companies in the past. A few months ago, I met Dream Yacht’s Head of Customer Experience, Edouard, at an event. His passion for customer centricty convinced me to give Dream Yacht a shot for my next trip that I was planning in La Paz. From my arrival at the base in La Paz, the Base manager, Ernesto, his staff, and the crew on board, made my trip memorable. I will definitely be booking again with Dream Yacht and will highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

Boat was in perfect order and plenty of anchorage In February

Boat was in perfect order. There are plenty of anchorage In February. Water is blue. We explored ridge (North) part of the island. Quite pretty area. Base was very helpful with suggestions, docking and weather. Definitely want to go back and explore Southern side of the island.

We had a fantastic holiday from Pozzuoli Italy

We had a fantastic holiday from the Pozzuoli Marina. Really easy introduction from the base staff and the engineers before and after we returned they are very friendly. We visited all the many Islands that are in easy reach of this Marina in our luxury Bali 5.4 Procida, Ischia,Ventotene,Ponza,Positano,Amalfi and Capri. We have been sailing with DYC for 5 years France, Palma, Martinque, Bahamas, Greece and Croatia and we look forward to our next 5 years. Thank you DYC

WORST COMPANION OF CHRTER

WORST COMPANION OF CHRTER! One star is already too much! in the meantime we pay for a 60 catamaran and at the jetty they tell us that it is not available e. Check at 4.80. Cruise with constant problems of smell of waste water, poor and badly cooked food, boat never cleaned neither internally nor externally, bathroom bag with dirty toilet paper never changed in a week! Absolutely to be avoided do not be fooled! Refund? 250€

Horrendous experience with Dream Yacht…

Horrendous experience with Dream Yacht Charter in Kos, avoid this company if you want to avoid rude service and being ripped off. When checking the boat after a charter, their staff actually broke a port hatch and then charged me for it. When I tried to engage with them in a sensible discussion about what they had done I was sworn and shouted at by them. Terrible company.

Hello Mr Cooke, Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to hear you have experienced issues during your sailing vacation. We would like to investigate further but could not identify your booking, please send us an email at [email protected] explaining your disappointment so we can look into it. Regards, the Dream Yacht Charter team

An efficient and tightly run operation!

As a boat owner/partner with Dream Yacht of a Lagoon Catamaran in Croatia I was initially anxious as to how my boat would be maintained by the Marina Team. However to date I can say that the entire experience has been trouble free with all the staff making every effort to look after the boat and ensure that everything aboard is in good working order for their clients. Although a very busy base they run a very professional and tight ship with Marco the base manager personally getting involved to make sure things run smoothly. Full marks guys!

DYC Palma - Dufour 390GL

We had a super two weeks on the Dufour 390GL out of the DYC Palma base. From arrival with safety and operational checks through to redelivery the team at the Palma base were excellent and very professional. The Dufour 390GL was very well set up, everything worked and on arrival the boat was presented to us to a very high standard. Thanks!

Dream Yacht in Grenada

We were aware that we were renting an older - 7 yr old boat that had been all over the place. In the Charter world the 3 year old boats are hard used. We did an older bareboat primarily for the lower price and knew there would be some issues but they usually don’t cause much trouble for a seasoned crew. The boat had a great refrigeration system, lots of cookware, good charts, nice windlass, and staff provided us with new cockpit chair cushioning and French press as we are Americans who like that sort of thing. It was a typical used boat with stuff that is used. Staff was very responsive to problems with mooring balls (not DYC’s fault) and difficulty with dinghy engine starts (we just had to acclimate to a coy Mercury). We like the people, and the boat was as is to be expected. We spent around 5 grand a week for a full 3 staterooms. We were happy. We enjoyed the captain’s meeting and received many good suggestions on where to go. Remember always swim your mooring ball - we were adrift and on the rocks due to a defective mooring ball. DYC is where you want to go if you are seasoned and want to spend most of your time in the water or at the beach.

A group of 8 of us, all nurse practitioner, firefighter/paramedics, nurses and lawyer, were looking forward to a relaxing week away escaping the stresses of work. To say we were disappointed with our trip would be an understatement. Your company should be ashamed and embarrassed about a captain leaving the boat unattended, with an end result of equipment breaking due to the lack of attention that is required when properly chartering a boat. I have traveled all over the world and NEVER once have I felt that I should be refunded any money. This vacation was anything but a vacation. It was miserable heat followed up with completely unacceptable behavior from the captain and the stu, every single day of the week! My husband slept in our cabin one night due to the extreme heat. Our IPhones were shutting off due to the heat. This was suppose to be a fun romantic vacation and it was anything but that. It was stressful and tiresome to say the least. Then customer services only offering 200 Euro per cabin for compensate! Get the heck out of here! This company is a joke!!!!!

Beware chartering with this outfit.

The boat I got for $6000 a week was a junker and was unsafe. A genoa sheet broke on while we were sailing, obviously old. The oven didn't work. The forward hatch leaked water over our bunk. The mainsail was not properly installed and we had to sail with a single reef for the week. The freezer didn't work and the refrigeration was marginal. I had to contact them three times to ensure they provisioned our boat. Worst of all, they jury rigged the lowering swim step in an unsafe way, and the sheet to raise an lower it got wrapped around the prop on a crossing, requiring us to get towed into the harbor when we arrived. To add insult to injury they charged me $250 for inspecting the seals on the saildrive when I returned the boat. That never would have been required if they hadn't jury rigged the swimstep. I'll never use Dream Yacht charters again, especially when there is a Sunsail/Moorings base right down the street and I have never had issues with them.

Greece Dream Yacht Charter

This wouldn’t have been my normal type of holiday, however from the moment we first stepped on the catamaran I knew this was going to be a holiday to remember. The different destinations, beaches, islands, restaurants, sites…. It was stunning and made even more so by the way we travelled and the expertise and knowledge of the skipper. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he made sure the only thing we had to worry about was having a good time. Nikolas was amazing and was part of our group … a friend … from the moment we met him. Greece was amazing, but if you’re going to Greece, do it in Dream Yacht Charter style!

Reply from Dream Yacht Charter

Hi Paul, Thank you for your wonderful review. We're glad you had a great time with us and we will pass your review to your skipper :) We look forward to seeing you again soon with pleasure. The Dream Yacht Charter team.

A Good Example of DYC's Dishonesty

As a good example of this company's dishonesty, have a look at their response to my original review. Our group paid cash, not a credit voucher, for our original charter from St. Vincent to Grenada. That charter was postponed in 2020 and 2021due to Covid and DYC's St. Vincent base closure. So DYC credited our 2020 cash deposit to the 2021 trip, then when that was also postponed they credited our cash deposit to the 2022 trip. It was always the same charter, and we paid a cash deposit for it. They refused to repay the cash deposit that we made. Their response, saying that our deposit was a credit voucher is deceptive. It is a good example of how dishonestly they deal with their customers.

Date of experience : 20 September 2021

Hi Dave Thank you for your feedback. We've talked to the team and found that as you had paid for your trip deposit using a credit voucher from a previous booking, your refund was provided in the same format, as a credit voucher. We hope to see you onboard with us again soon. Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team

Excellent Experience

Excellent Experience on both of my charters (Lefkas/Greece, Mallorca/Spain) with DYC this year. The customer care team and the teams at the charter bases were fantastic. The whole experience was flawless every time.

It was really a dream! Will come back again.

We had a very nice, competent skipper (Claudy) and a friendly good cooking hostess (Karin). They made the stay on board safe and comfortable. The trip was planned excellent and Claudy always choose the best places for anchoring or mooring. Our cabin was not so nice. Bed very small. The windows let some water in, although closed.

Hello Wolfgang and thank you for your nice review. We're happy you had a nice cruise and we look forward to welcoming you onboard again! Best wishes, The Dream Yacht Charter team

Great help!

Ok. 5 stars. Polynesia, Raiatea. Our honeymood started with Bellini, 2016 oceanis 41, externally cared as well internally. Main sail ok, jib ok. At check-in I found oil in the bilge under engine. I asked for cleaning. Everithing ok. We sail after 2 days and 7 hours of sailing I found again black oil from starbord ad light oil from port. I called the base, immediately they arranged to guide me, by video call, to find and solve the problem. After half day, while i was continuing sailing, a mechanic reach me in Bora Bora e almost solves the problem (changing the belt too), giving me the chance to complete the holyday. So in the end, a little tricky, but everybody worked for our safety, and our pleasure. This part of honeymoon was amazing. Very professionals Thank to Oliver and Cyril.

Hi Stanislao, thank you for your comment. We're glad you had a great time in Polynesia and we hope to see you onboard again soon. Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team.

Great time in Key West!

We had a great time on our 45' monohull bareboat charter out of Key West. Staff were helpful in getting us underway and knowledgeable about the area. The weather was a bit unfavorable for a trip out to the Tortugas, but we had a great time bouncing around the lower Keys. The boat was in pretty good shape for being in charter for a couple years - a couple small issues but nothing we had to go back to the marina to get fixed, and the folks at the charter company were understanding. We had a good enough experience that we're planning to charter with Dream Yacht Charter again at one of their other locations - that's as good a recommendation as I can give!

Date of experience : 28 June 2022

Hi Sean, Thank you for your review and for the 5 stars. We are so pleased you had a great time. We hope to welcome you onboard once again. Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team

Dream Yacht Lake Champlain

Dream Yacht Lake Champlain, Vermont. 6 stars! My family just returned from a spectacular bareboat charter experience at Lake Champlain. Dream Yacht staff - Jon - near single handed managed the fleet, customer nuance, the cleaners, tech debug, dock pilot, stand-in skipper 24/7, safety and lake advisor. Lake Champlain is beautiful sailing, the base marina is outstanding - new showers, bathrooms, and dining. Our 7 yo yacht - Sun Odyssey 509 - showed her chartering age but performed very well, was very clean and comfortable. Not every system was perfect - certainly sailing is the adventure.. setbacks are expected! We experienced excellent VIP personal service.. and Jon/DYC seamlessly managed 7 other charters simultaneously, weather, turnovers, etc.! Super experience .. already looking forward to our next DYC!

Hi Timothy, thank you for your comment. We're glad you had a great time in Lake Champlain and we hope to see you onboard again soon. Best wishes, the Dream Yacht Charter team.

BVI Scrub Island

BVI Scrub Island. The cat we rented was completely unmaintained. It started with the rigging breaking the first day out causing us to return to Scrub Island. Then the air conditioner broke, they said they fixed it but it still wasn't working. Then the sewage starting backing up in all of the rooms. The furling broke. They didn't even provide a boat hook that was long enough to reach a ball from the cat. Then they offered us $600 back and a free day in the future. Like we would ever charter from them again. Oh, and the check out people were TERRIBLY RUDE, THINK 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Hi Faith, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you experienced difficulties and that your experience fell below our usual high standards. If you want to investigate further, we advise you to contact us with details of your charter experience and booking information on [email protected] so we can assist. Dream Yacht Charter St Martin

I have booked many charters with the Moorings and Sunsail, always excellent service. I was aware of the the many DYC negative reviews so I knew I was taking a chance when I signed the contract. We required a 4 cabin monohull and I wasn't able to find one elsewhere on St Martin at a price we could afford. My gamble paid off in spades. We had a Dufore 460 GL. The boat was immaculate and the service was as good as I've ever experienced. Everything was "as promised" and on time. While anchored in Road Bay, Anguilla we had an electrical problem which was remedied swiftly with hardly any inconvenience on the part of my crew. Everyone from the office staff to the guys on the dock bent over backwards to make sure we had a great charter.

Dream Yacht Charter in USVI was an amazing experience. I have been on a few charters but this one was everything we expected and more. The manager Chris runs a first class operation. Everyone went out of our way to make our experience a great one. Susan Chappelle our booking agent was very responsive and helped us out in so many ways. We are looking at our next charter and it will definitely be with Dream Yacht. Thank you everyone for such a great vacation.

Great experience chartering with DYC from Pula, Croatia. The base manager Davor and his team were very friendly and responsive - the best welcome and service I have seen in many years of chartering. Boat in very good condition. Thanks.

WE WERE TOLD 12 HOURS BEFORE WE WERE TO BOARD A PLANE TO FLY FROM THE WEST COAST TO THE EAST COAST THAT OUR BOAT WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE WITH NO EXPLANITION ! WE SUBSEQUENTLY FOUND OUT THAT DREAM GAVE THE BOAT TO ANOTHER GROUP. WE HAD PAID IN FULL OVER YEAR BEFORE!

Date of experience : 09 September 2021

Hi Hubie, Thank you for your feedback. Our team was in full communication with you that your reserved boat was out of service due to an issue during the previous charter. The boat was not given to another group as it went for repair. It is very unfortunate when this rare event happens. We offered another date and your group decided to accept a full refund. We are surprised to read the review as you were kindly very understanding in your email. We hope to welcome you onboard another time. Best wishes the Dream Yacht Charter team

Unprofessionel handling

I’m tryiting to rent a yacht though their agent Boutaround, have already plaid 30% deposit, and they will not confirm the rent due to internal arguments between the two companies. Not at all professionel handling!

Sailing giant nautor swan 75-foot motor yacht arrow to debut at cannes.

An overhead view of the 75-foot Nautor Swan power yacht, Arrow, at the August launch from the ... [+] Sanlorenzo shipyard in the Gulf of La Spezia.

The star of the show in sailing yachts since the mid 1960s, Nautor Swan is set to debut their newest power yacht, Arrow, at the Cannes Yachting Festival , September 10-15, 2024. Launched August 28, 2024 at the Sanlorenzo La Spezia shipyard, this elegant, sporty, functional sister cygnet is destined to mature at light speed after her global reveal.

Designed by Nautor Swan power division designer Jarkko Jamsén, with interiors by Ioanna Marinopoulou and Axel de Beaufort, Arrow features a contemporary design with wide open spaces that invite longer, more leisurely cruise experiences. Initially intended to be categorized as a chase boat, Arrow proved her prowess as a stand alone day boat in part due to a rapidly increasing fan base.

The first ever Nautor Swan powerboat launched was the Swan Shadow, followed by an inboard version, the Swan OverShadow, which debuted at Cannes in 2023. As Nautor Group President Leonardo Ferragamo noted, "When it was launched the result was overwhelming as it became a boat of its own, creating its specific niche in our waters and becoming a great day boat." That passion exhibited by the team and shared by the market led to the Swan Arrow, a 75-foot motor yacht displaying the totemic Swan DNA.

Arrow By The Numbers

The Nautor Swan Arrow is built in advanced composites using a mix infused with GRP and carbon. The walkaround design emulates that of a superyacht, but in a more nimble, highly usable format, using less fuel in a more intimate atmosphere. Focused on interaction with the sea, side opening platforms creates a 548 square foot (50 square meter) beach area that floats just above sea level. Convenient fold-down steps take guests right down to the water.

Designed for comfort, Arrow is versatile in helping guests to enjoy time on board regardless of weather.

Her displacement hull measures 76 feet (23.20 meters) with a 22 foot (6.90 meter) beam and a 6 foot 3 inch (1.90 meter) draft. Her maximum speed is 30 knots in the standard arrangement using two Volvo 1350 D13 Penta IPS engines, or 40 knots with the optional arrangement employing three of the same.

Arrow accommodates six to eight guests and two crew. Descending the stairs, guests looking to port find a dedicated galley that serves the aft master cabin. Reaching across the full beam, the master cabin space boasts a walk-in closet, ensuite bath, and stylish materials typical of Nautor Swan heritage.

Amidships, a VIP cabin and twin cabin, both en suite, deliver private guest spaces. An alternative layout offers two large double cabins with a lounge embracing a starboard salon, L-shaped sofa, and dining area. Away from guest areas, crew space for two is located further forward.

Roy Capasso, Motoryacht Commercial Director and Regional Director SEMEA and Americas, summarized, "When starting the Swan Arrow project we began with attentively listening to our clients and a detailed analysis of the market. The results, together with the creativity of our designer and the expertise of a qualified team have allowed us to introduce a new concept with some features missing in motoryachts of this size, answering the needs of their owners."

On The Horizon

Founded in 1966, Nautor Swan is universally recognized for its performance Maxi yachts and Club Swan Racing yachts, as well as leisure sailing yachts, all built with an elegant, high quality style emphasizing innovation, reliability, and performance. The addition of a power division at Nautor Swan embellishes the brand with a broad appeal, bridging the gap that once separated power versus sail preferences with one brand.

An agreement between Sanlorenzo and Swan for the acquisition of Nautor Swan Group was announced August 1, 2024, but the continuity of the brand is assured through the leadership of Nautor Swan, helmed by Leonardo Ferragamo, retaining the office of President, Massimo Perotti as CEO, and Giovanni Pomati as co-CEO.

The Arrow is not the only Swan with a scheduled debut at the Cannes Show. The Swan Maxi 88 sailing yacht will make her debut, along with the Club Swan 43 . The Swan 88, designed by Germàn Frers with interiors by Misa Poggi, is expected to earn as many admiring looks as the Arrow. The Club Swan 43, designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, is intended to serve as a racing and cruising crossover enhanced by top of industry technology for competitive one-design sailing and a comfortable cruising environment.

The 5th edition of the International exhibition of yachts and boats –  Moscow Boat Show , held from March 20 to 25, 2012 will be hosted by the first pavilion of Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This popular show is dedicated not only to the specialists of the market segment and professional sportsmen but also to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

Moscow Boat Show

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association. Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting.

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!
