Lil Yachty Says Drake Loved Juice Wrld’s Playful Jab At Him On ‘Yacht Club’
Drake wasn’t at all “upset” or “in his feelings” when he heard another rapper take a playful jab at his fatherhood woes recently. In an interview with Billboard , Lil Yachty explained the Canadian rap veteran’s response to hearing his name pop up on Yachty’s recently-released sophomore studio album, Nuthin’ 2 Prove in a joking jab from guest rapper Juice Wrld on “Yacht Club.”
“But I ain’t on no Drake sh*t, I won’t get her pregnant,” Juice quips as the two young rappers trade bars. It’s a clear reference to Drake’s surprise revelation that he’d had an unplanned son with a French model late last year, but unlike the shot from Pusha T that sprung the secret on the world, Drake took this particular rhyme in stride.
“I talked to Drake about it and he said it was all good,” Yachty told Billboard . “He felt there was really no harm. I told Drake before, because I f*ck with Drake. Then it came out and he laughed at it.” Yachty’s own response to the off-the-cuff reference is right there on the track: “Damn, young Juice WRLD, boy, you reckless.”
In the same interview, Yachty also revealed that he wrapped up a pair of joint tapes as well, one with Juice, and another with Trippie Redd. Considering the long-promised collaboration with Lil Pump still hasn’t found its way to release, it looks like Lil Yachty is sitting on a sizable pile of unreleased music, and the joint album mania currently gripping hip-hop isn’t letting up anytime soon.

Lil Yachty is fresh off the release of his second project of the year, Nuthin 2 Prove . The rapper's latest project served as an official follow-up to Lil Boat 2 which he released earlier this year. The rapper collaborated with Juice WRLD on the song, "Yacht Club" where the Chicago rapper took a slight jab at Drake 's baby mama drama. While many may have thought that Drake took issue with the line, especially since it had something to do with his seed, the Canadian rapper seemed to find it amusing as the rest of us.
On Lil Yachty's "Yacht Club," he and Juice WRLD swap bars back and forth. At one point, Yachty raps, "I'm a young king, I might fuck Alexis Texas" and Juice responds, "But I ain't on no Drake shit, I won't get her pregnant." Yachty told Billboard about his initial reaction to the line before revealing that he told Drake about the bar ahead of time.
"At the time, we were in the booth together actually. He said it and I was like, 'Wow, okay,'" he said. "I talked to Drake about it and he said it was all good. He felt there was really no harm. I told Drake before, because I fuck with Drake. Then it came out and he laughed at it. "
Yachty also revealed that his joint project with Juice WRLD might come out in December. However, there's a chance that he might drop his joint project with Trippie Redd instead.
"I'm going to drop a collab tape in December. I got one done with Juice WRLD, and me and Trippie Redd got one. Both tapes are done," he revealed.

Drake has the kind of appreciation for warm-weather vacations familiar to anyone who grew up in a city with brutal winters. From the pool selfie seen ‘round the world to his Turks and Caicos trip with acolyte Jack Harlow , the superstar rapper really knows how to cut loose once he’s off the clock and in the sun. And cutting loose is exactly what he’s been doing during a sprawling, headline-grabbing excursion across Europe following the release of his seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind.
Since arriving in Ibiza, Drake has been on a posting spree, sharing shirtless tanning photos (read: thirst traps), videos of the lavish yacht he and the OVO crew are renting, and… some British kid’s meme rap about Love Island . But those moments pale in comparison to the strange storylines that have exploded on social media. Chances are on July 14 you saw #FreeDrake somewhere on your timeline, which stemmed from a rumor that the musician had been arrested by Swedish police. His team told The Hollywood Reporter that story was false, but that wasn't the end of the saga.
In a July 17 Instagram dump , Drake shared what appeared to be a letter from Swedish police headlined “Information for Those Suspected of a Crime and Subsequently Detained,” which apparently confirmed that he had contact with law enforcement. The rumors of a police run-in sparked concern online, since ASAP Rocky was imprisoned for a month in Stocklholm in 2019 . (Drake’s Instagram post also included photos of his friends in a club and what appeared to be a fancy cocktail in a cage, so it’s clear he wasn’t terribly pressed about the whole thing.)
With the Sweden situation in the rearview, Drake moved on to Southern France’s Saint-Tropez, spending time with 21-year-old influencer Suede Brooks on what Page Six deemed a “yacht hopping” excursion. It’s unclear whether there’s a romantic spark there, but, according to Entertainment Tonight , the two have actually known each other for some time, and have mutual friends.
Unfortunately, Drake’s idyllic coastal getaway was interrupted by one pesky, persistent bee. That gave us this hilarious clip of the rapper avoiding stings like he was doing Fat Joe’s “Lean Back” dance with a side of Milly Rock, while his friends frantically tried to shoo the insect away. “I hate bees on god,” he later wrote on Instagram, proving once and for all that Drake will never make it as a new cast member on Jackass .
He’s also been out partying with some of his Honestly, Nevermind collaborators, seemingly partying at the same types of places that he made this dance music for. He was spotted at one party with the album’s executive producer, Black Coffee, and most recently with members of the Keinemusik collective, whose members &ME and Rampa co-produced “Falling Back” and “A Keeper.”
And just in case you were worried that Drake wasn’t traveling in style, fret not. Per Page Six , the “Coral Ocean” yacht he and his pals are using costs $660,000 a week. And for further travel he’s also been using his [shudders] signature plane, the baby blue Air Drake , a private Boeing 767. ( According to BitLux Travel , the plane is an “ongoing gift from the Canadian cargo carrier, Cargojet,” and the air services company confirmed that it “has had a lengthy relationship with Drake, transporting supplies and equipment for his tours in the past.”)
But it wouldn’t be a Drake trip without him trying to woo a woman in the strangest way possible. On July 21, Drake shared a photo on his Instagram story of a woman unaware she was being snapped. “Tried to airdrop this woman a pic of herself cause she’s a dime,” he wrote. It’s knowingly goofy, which is his vacation-gram style: They have been peppered with self-aware memes like this one that reads, “[Wow] my ex just posted on her story with her husband and three children and she had on a red shirt. Like [you] know I told [you] my fav color was red 10 years ago. Get over me already [you] big goofy.”
Given that Drake is already on his second lavish trip of 2022 , it’s unlikely we’ve seen the last of Vacation Drake. God have mercy on us all.
Drake was sailing in style during his European getaway.
The rapper chartered a $50 million superyacht for him and his entire crew. According to Page Six , the 238-foot boat, named “Coral Ocean,” costs a whopping $660,000 a week to rent. Drake shared a slideshow of photos from his vacay including one of him posted up on the edge of the yacht at sunset.
“this is the story about the boy that never gave up- starring moi,” he wrote in his caption.
He also shared pics of the expansive deck including glass-bottom spa pool and lounge area, as well as a dining table with candles. Drake’s right-hand man Chubbs was seen dancing to Future and Drake’s “I’m On One” in one video.
The lavish digs, designed by the “godfather of modern yacht design” Jon Bannenberg, also includes a master bedroom with panoramic views, plus eight bedroom suites, a gym, steam room, and Jacuzzi. The 22 crew members are there to cater to their VIP guests with massages and manicures, while a private chef can cook meals for up to 30 guests.
Earlier in the week, Drake was seen partying in Ibiza with Black Coffee, who produced his latest album Honestly, Nevermind . He also alluded to some sort of run-in with Swedish authorities, sharing a document titled “Information for Those Suspected of a Crime and Subsequently Detained.”
While he was away, he received an unwanted visitor when a man attempted to break into his $75 million Beverly Hills mansion, claiming to be his son. He was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing.

Drake, 35, was photographed aboard a yacht with model Suede Brooks, 21, while on vacation in St. Tropez, France, on Tuesday.
The “Hotline Bling” rapper and YouTuber then headed to Club 55, one of the coastal town’s most iconic and historic beach clubs, according to paparazzi.
For the luxe outing, Drake was seen wearing an Off-White by Mercedes-Benz dirt-effect Skate T-shirt that retails for about $530, white shorts, white sneakers and a navy blue bandana.
Meanwhile, Brooks wore a light blue swimsuit, an oversized button-down shirt and her brunette locks in low-maintenance waves.
It has not been confirmed if the pair are romantically linked since they were not showing any PDA in the photos. Reps for both did not immediately return requests for comment.
However, a source told Entertainment Tonight Wednesday that Drake and Brooks are definitely interested in one another – but hinted that it’s likely casual at the moment.
“They’re having fun together,” the insider said, adding that they have been “yacht hopping” for a few days. “They are sweet, whispering in each other’s ears and laughing.”
According to ET, this is not the first time the “One Dance” rapper and influencer have spent time together, and mutual friends are reportedly “rooting for them to hang out more.”
On Wednesday, Drake shared he was still enjoying his time in St. Tropez by posting a few Instagram Stories of him at a beach club. Brooks did not make an appearance in the clips.
The “God’s Plan” rapper may have earned his right to let loose after seemingly getting detained at a Swedish prison earlier this week.
The “Jimmy Cooks” rapper shared a photo to Instagram Sunday of a handout detailing his rights in the European country as a detainee, which many perceived as confirmation of the online rumors circulating about his detainment.
Drake’s team initially denied that he had a run-in with Swedish police.
Despite that hiccup, the “Started From the Bottom” rapper’s European excursion has been one for the books, complete with a $600,000 mega-yacht.
On Tuesday, Drake posted a series of photos of the pricey 238-foot super-yacht, dubbed “Coral Ocean,” that boasts a sun lounge with a glass-bottom spa pool, a sky lounge with a full-service bar and a sound system, and a decked-out master bedroom that has skylights and panoramic views.
The boat is likely the same yacht that the “Passionfruit” rapper was photographed on while hanging out with Brooks.
In the past, Drake has been linked to many high-profile women, including Bella Harris, Malaika Terry, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Hailey Bieber. He also shares a 4-year-old son, Adonis, with painter Sophie Brussaux.

Speaking as someone who has never stepped foot on any sort of yacht in her life, it's hard to imagine what sort of luxe furnishings Aubrey would have decked his new, surely custom purchase out in, but if the sole photo cirulating online is any indication, it's nicer than most homes.

This is the case of Palmiro Togliatti — a founding member and the longest serving secretary of the Italian Communist Party — and a Russian city located in Samara Oblast, known as Stavropol on Volga until 1964, which was then renamed Tolyatti, becoming the greatest tribute in the world to an Italian politician. The city of Tolyatti was named after him immediately after his death in Yalta — a seaside town in the then Soviet Union — on August 21st, 1964, as a result of a sudden stroke and cerebral bleed. He was on vacation, on his way to give his support for Brezhnev as Khrushchev’s successor. Who was Palmiro Togliatti?If you happen to travel around Italy, you may have noticed that in every Italian city — however big or small — there is a street named after Palmiro Togliatti. That’s because Togliatti was not just the charismatic secretary and one of the founders of the Italian Communist Party, but a legendary figure of Italian and international politics. Tolyatti, the Russian cityThe Russian homage to Palmiro Togliatti was not chosen at random. In fact, a significant city was named after him: Stavropol on Volga became Tolyatti ( Togliatti Russianized) because right there — on the banks of Volga river — the Italian politician had a key role in building the popular AvtoVAZ factory, the manufacturer of the Lada car brand. And thus, in the 1960s, through cooperation with FIAT , the city took a new shape and a new name, because the old Stavropol on Volga was also covered by the Kuybyshev Hydroelectric Station. This infrastruscture was crucial for the development of a large industry. Therefore Tolyatti — just like what happened in Italy with Turin — became the working-class city par excellence, and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union made it a great vehicle for propaganda and experimentation. Many facilities were built, especially for sports, and new parks and monuments emerged in Tolyatti, which were made to represent the perfect Soviet city for the perfect Soviet citizen.  Not surprisingly, many popular athletes grew up in Tolyatti, such as the Olympic champion Alexei Nemov and the former ice hockey players Alexei Kovalev, Ilya Bryzgalov, Viktor Kozlov and Alexei Emelin. As you might imagine, ice hockey is very popular around there, and the local club sponsored by Lada is one of the best across Russia. Tolyatti, due to its vast spaces, has several monuments of national interest : Victory Park, a memorial dedicated to the Soviet victory in World War II built in the Auto Factory district; Liberty Square with its Obelisk of Glory dedicated to the fighters of World War II; the Mourning Angel standing in Central Park, a memorial to victims of political repression built after the end of the Communist era. Also the Transfiguration Cathedral, with its wonderful golden domes, was built after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Tolyatti was also the city where the great Russian painter Ilya Repin stayed for a brief period in 1870, painting his masterpiece ‘ Barge Haulers on the Volga’. The house where he stayed then became a monument. Last but not least, among the most meaningful monuments of Tolyatti is ‘ Loyalty’. It is a bronze statue dedicated to a faithful dog, called ‘ Kostya’, who survived a car accident in which its owners lost their lives. Like what happened in Japan with Hachiko, Kostya wouldn’t give up, waiting for its owners for seven consecutive years at the same spot. Under the snow and the rain, winter and summer, the dog stayed there, running up to all the passing cars and hoping one day to again see its beloved masters. Only his own death let him abandon his spot, but Tolyatti citizens unanimously wanted to honor the loyalty of Kostya, building a sculpture in his memory. I could say no place was more appropriate than Tolyatti, because the city’s namesake itself represents a great metaphor of loyalty: that of Palmiro Togliatti to the Soviet Union.
