Great attentive service! Great employees who go above and beyond and the owner is awesome! Highly highly recommend YES for your yacht service and maintenance needs!
Called to get an estimate for a radar install, took my information and was told she would pass the information on to the owner who would get back to me. Never returned my call, called back next day and same lady told me she passed on information and owner had a care less attitude and said what is he supposed to do???? I don't know maybe: 1. Your job? 2. Call customer back His business must be so good he does not need any more, which i suggest people should avoid and go to the many other reputable companies that know how to treat their customers. I will be sure to inform my friends and dock mates to go elsewhere.
Had Y.E.S. come out as our air conditioning didn't seem to be working. Their technician seemed to know very little about marine A/C as he spent the entire time on the phone with Cruise Air technical support. For this, I was originally charged an hour of labor. Fortunately, I was able to dispute this charge with Y.E.S. and we agreed that a half hour of labor was more reasonable. They were nice about this adjustment, which I really do appreciate, but they should have acknowledged this on their own if they wanted an additional star. I did have a positive experience when purchasing our Spectra watermaker as they allowed me to receive a boat show discount of 15% over the phone, saving nearly $1650. I would consider Y.E.S. for future parts and equipment purchases, however, I am hesitant to use them for future "services" or boat repair(as categorized on Yelp). Y.E.S definitely falls into the 2-star definition of "Meh. I've experienced better."
We are cruisers in the Caribbean. Our home port is Kemah, though. Jim at YES has always been great at helping when I had problems that were beyond me. We recently had an ac issue and Jim helped walk me through how to fix it. There are no cruise aire repair facilities on the island of Roatan!
