MENGI YAY 45M AQUARIUS

The hull and superstructure of the yacht are made in wood.  The yacht was delivered in August 2016 and built according to RINA class. Three layers of cross were used in hull of the yacht. The keel, wale and posts of the yacht were printed in epoxy laminate system.

A beach club was located on the stern side. A very spacious area was created by opening doors. ( sides and stern doors) There are 4 guest cabins and 1 master cabin.

The saloon is large enough to accommodate a large number of guests. The galley has a wide open area located on the main deck. All areas of the yacht are made with high sound insulated material. The yacht received comfort class certificate due to low decibel and vibration values.

This sleek ultra modern 150'2 / 45.77m full-displacement motor yacht was custom built in 2016 by Mengi-Yay. The yacht's interior is designed by Mengi-Yay in collaboration with BTA Design and her exterior styling is by Oğuzhan Güler.

Her chic interior draws inspiration from the orient, featuring deep pile carpets, a medley of light and dark wood, along with elegant marble bathrooms. Beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for yacht charters.

She is built with a wooden laminated epoxy hull and superstructure, engineered and expertly crafted in the Netherlands. AQUARIUS is capable of a top speed of 16 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots powered by twin CAT C32 1450hp engines.

When not cruising Aquarius has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these is a waterski that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there are two SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish. Another excellent feature are two wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Aquarius also features paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. When it comes to Tenders, Aquarius has you covered - with two tenders, including a 7.47m/24'6" Axopar Tender.

Sleeping 10 lucky guests in 5 beautifully appointed staterooms, Aquarius is a stunning superyacht. In a style of her own with her straight bow, Aquarius cruises incredibly well and in utter stability.

The master suite is spacious but could have been a bit more spacious. What do we mean? The design incorporated not one but two built-in balconies on either side of the suite and those take away some valuable space from the interior of the room. However, the balconies give the owner their own personal space to walk out on to within the comfort of their own suite. The doors can be opened and allow fresh sea breezes to enter. We have been so spoiled by making master suites full-beam that the slightest loss in square footage appears to be undesirable. Note the perforated ceiling finish even in the master suite and this continues into the main saloon.

The main saloon maximizes the most of the 9-meter space offered onbeam and with large windows and twin fold-down bulwarks on either side, there is a good view from most areas of the space. The fold-down bulwarks are just off the formal dining room and enhances the dining experience when at anchor. The decor of the space is still consistent and again the perforated ceiling is very evident here. Light, Mid and Dark tones mesh in this space very well and are offset slightly by splashes of accent colour.

The side decks onboard Aquarius are quite spacious and are further accentuated by the same fold-down bulwarks. Below showcases how much space is available when the balconies are deployed. They are finished in the same teak material to match the remainder of the side decks. Beefy railings are in place to secure the extended space and add finesse to the overall experience. One of the nice spaces onboard Aquarius is the beach club.

Yes, there is a beach club onboard this 45-meter yacht. Usually this space serves as a tender garage for the yacht's main tender but the entire space is dedicated to a stylish beach club. Even down here, the perforated ceiling trend continues definitely hammering-home the design philosophy's cohesiveness. Once Aquarius is at anchor, the beach club is opened up on three sides with two shell doors on the sides and and fold-out transom. The connection to the sea is very apparent here, you cannot get closer to the water from onboard than here. The beach club space is sufficient to host a suite of comfy relaxing sofa-style furniture and loose teak tables to rest books or a cocktail on.

The aft decks are spacious too with many areas to sit and relax. The aft bridge deck can be configured to host a tender or as seen here store two amphibious quadskis -basically a hybrid of ATV and Jetski-. Two CAT C32 1,450HP marine engines are onboard giving Aquarius a top speed of 15-knots. Fuel capacity is 33,000 LT along with fresh water storage for 8,000 LT. The 300 tonne yacht is 45-meters long, 9-meters wide and a slim draft of just 2.5-meters. Five cabins for the owner an guests are available along with four crew cabins. AQUARIUS yacht was built in 2016 by Feadship shipyard in Aalsmeer, Netherlands.

With her length of 92 m (302 ft), AQUARIUS is ranked in 73rd place on the list of longest motor yachts in the world. Currently, she sails under the flag of the Cayman Islands .

AQUARIUS yacht interior

The interior of AQUARIUS was designed by Dutch design firm Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design based in Amsterdam.

The yacht offers a spacious living area, a cinema, a beautiful spa, a gym with incredible sea views, and a sizeable beach club.

The elevator allows guests to move more seamlessly from deck to deck. The master suite features a spacious dressing room as well as a his-and-hers bathroom.

The other six luxuriously designed VIP cabins can accommodate an additional twelve guests.

A crew of up to 30 members takes care of the guests’ well-being while they are on board the luxury yacht.

Specifications

With a beam of 13.50 meters (44.3 ft), a length of 92 meters (302 ft), and a draft of 4 meters (13.1 ft), AQUARIUS has a weight of almost 2,900 gross tons.

Her immense superstructure is made of aluminum, and her decks are constructed in classic teak.

The two MTU M63L diesel engines each produce 3,000 hp and allow her to reach top speeds of 17 knots.

Her fuel tank holds 275,800 liters of diesel and, at a cruising speed of 12 knots, her total reach lies close to 5,500 nautical miles. 

Like her interior, the exterior of the AQUARIUS yacht was also designed by the Dutch design firm Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design.

She has a helipad on the foredeck, a hot tub on the upper sundeck, and a large pool on the aft deck.

She also carries two tenders and plenty of water toys for guests to enjoy. In addition to a large swim platform, the crew can also set up various water slides if required.

Of course, the luxury yacht has a variety of jet skis, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and water skis on board. 

The purchase price of the AQUARIUS yacht was US $200 million, and she is currently also available for charter for US $1.5 million per week.

In winter, she is mostly underway in the Caribbean, and in the summer months in the Mediterranean.

Aquarius, Autoban's the very first interior design project of 45 meter motor yacht won International Yacht & Aviation Awards !

Autoban’s first yacht design Aquarius is a 45m full wooden laminated epoxy tri-deck displacement superyacht that is destined to spend almost half of the year on the sea. Therefore, offering a home warmth and comfort that could have been hardly imagined stood as a guiding drive during the design process.

Autoban mastered well the delicate balance in the blend of functions and materials in a space where strict boundries go hand in hand with constantly changing external factors. This conscious tailored the transparent and semi-transparent interrelations between the space, daylight and landscape.

The yacht that is spread over 3 full internal decks plus an open-air sundeck, is considered as a one whole furniture and from the outer into the inner layers the narrative is conveyed shell by shell. The gradual change while erasing the distinct passage between in and out, added a certain depth in the interior design.

The main bedroom is encased by an outer shell of light and dark wood with beige hues to invigorate a wrapping sense by its curvaceous form and it delivers a contemporary interpretation of the classic style. Sliding horizontal slatted timber doors give access to starkly contrasted ultramodern bathroom. The same slatted panels cover the windows creating a closed area allowing filtered daylight and views to permeate into the interior. The main salon and the passages benefit from large windows from where flood a natural light that is further carried by bright white-lacquered ceiling. Rounded corners and organic forms are defined by polished teak and brushed oak among other wooden material. Along a braided wallpaper together they enhance the warm and cozy feeling.

Wet areas advocate Autoban’s fascination by uncommon materials, and common materials used in uncommon ways. The bathrooms are highlighted by a monochrome or dual streaked bookmatched marble that are selected for their unique vein structure and cover the space again as a shell from the ground throughout the walls.

The staircase connecting the decks takes the same approach to layering; a ribbed panels formed by irregular triangle slices curl around the staircase generating an immersive wooden presence to make the inhabitants feel surrounded by nature.

Autoban have applied their signature aesthetic by maintaining a unity in interior architecture engaging all indoor and outdoor areas. The bespoke lighting fixtures and furnishings of Autoban are accompanied in the exterior relaxation areas by complementary furnitures that are selectively chosen. All are to welcome both the serene life and the animated social gatherings on board. On the upper deck, a hot tub is introduced near the bow that is strategically placed next to a screen to foster again the enjoyment of the environment.

In an integrity, the whole layered interior architecture offers a sense of openness and richness, proposes plain but imposed style along high quality meticulous craftmanship.
