OYC moorage is based on the total square footage a boat or boathouse would take up. Our current moorage rate is .26centspersquarefoot. For example, a 40' x 12' sailboat would cover about 480 total square feet.
OLYMPIA YACHT CLUB MOORAGE AGREEMENT
A member in good standing who has filed a proper application for moorage and has signed a copy of the Moorage Agreement (filed with the Moorage Master) may be assigned an available berth in the OlympiaYachtClub basin.

After 48 hours, they will pay $0.50perfootperday for a maximum of five days total moorage in any 30 day period (2 days free & 3 days paid). Any extension beyond five must be approved by the Moorage Master or Main Station Chair.

Rates and fees. Fees are charged year round for mooring at docks, floats, and buoys from 1 p.m. to 8 a.m. The moorage fee is 70centsperfoot, with a minimum of $15. Moorage buoys are $15 (no boats over 45 feet). The annual moorage permit is $5 per foot, with a minimum of $60.

The OlympiaYachtClub was organized in 1889 as the Olympia Motor BoatClub and was reactivated in 1908 with 27 boats. By 1910, ninety members renamed the group the OlympiaYachtClub. By 1915, the club had moorings at the city dock and began leasing the boat basin from the Port of Olympia.
