Abu Dhabi’s Marsa Al Jubail unveils its luxury marina, villas and yacht club

The Yacht Club includes a restaurant, lounge and gym.

We love a megaproject at FACT. So we were thrilled to see new images of Marsa Al Jubail. Located on Abu Dhabi’s Jubail Island, the site describes itself as a high-end waterfront marina villa community. While that sounds like a mouthful of description, we’re here to help you break it down.

Marsa Al Jubail will be making the most of its waterfront location. At the heart of the marina community is nature and wellness, as it will set among the mangrove forests. The site will boast a 65-berth marina, signature members-only Yacht Club, yacht amenities, restaurants and gym.

If you’ve got dirhams to spare, then check out the luxury homes. The area includes 36 modern marina villas, which range from three to four bedrooms. Residents can look out of the floor-to-ceiling windows and see impressive views of Abu Dhabi. Plus, there will be a promenade with Insta-worthy views.

The Yacht Club will be home to a fine-dining restaurant, alfresco seating on the promenade, and a member’s only lounge as well as a gym. Plus, the terrace will overlook the marina and boast views of Abu Dhabi.

With a friend in town, visiting the UAE for the first time, I wanted to “wow!” her with a Friday Brunch. The InterContinental mixes up their Friday Marina Brunch menu by opening up their restaurants, Chamas, the Belgian Cafe, and The Yacht Club. We booked a reservation at The Yacht Club and could visit all three buffets with a variety of foods to sample and enjoy. We had an excellent afternoon, escaping the summer heat, perched up in a booth above the main floor of the Yacht Club, and enjoyed the creative preparation and display of our Friday brunch.
