Charter yacht of the week: 61m Feadship Samadhi returns after refit

Each week we place a spotlight on the world’s finest superyachts for charter. This week, BOAT steps on board the the 61-metre Samadhi in London following an all-encompassing refit

When a yacht cruises into the Thames, it’s always a grand spectacle, especially when moored before Tower Bridge. However, the arrival of the 61-metre Samadhi is an exceptionally special occasion, as she has officially rejoined the charter market following an all-encompassing refit. Sold in 2023 after a brief stint of just three months on the market, Samadhi returned to Feadship for extensive work before setting off on her summer charter season.

Samadhi was delivered by Feadship in 2006, with her well-balanced, classic exteriors and naval architecture crafted by De Voogt Naval Architects in house. Following a recent refit, her interiors have been exquisitely reimagined by Laura Pomponi of Luxury Projects , who introduced a refreshing blend of light woods and rich blues to give the 61-metre a contemporary upgrade.

Following her refit, Samadhi cruised over to London where she debuted her new look to the market. According to BOATPro , she then circumnavigated the whole of the United Kingdom, visiting the Hebrides in Scotland and the Isle of Wight.

Stepping onto Samadhi’s main aft deck in the cooler temperatures of London isn't too much of an issue, as the space is somewhat protected from the elements with glass panels on each side. A large, heated swimming pool is positioned here too and leads directly into the main saloon. Upon entry, charter guests are warmly welcomed with a glass of champagne and a brief tour of the yacht, while the crew discreetly manage the luggage.

The main saloon has a curvaceous feel to it, thanks to the large round rug and large sofa which encircles it. The saloon is a dedicated lounge space, as the dining area is separated through a hallway further forward. Honey-wooden tones and striking artwork here are infused with soft blue furnishings and cream sofas.

Each deck is connected by an elevator and can whisk guests up from the main deck to the sky lounge, which has also seen a refresh in Samadhi ’s most recent refit. The space has a fully-stocked sit-up bar, and a large television and gaming set up on the port side. Here on the upper deck aft is a round table for al fresco dining and exterior sofas. A large awning can be extended from the sundeck to shade the space (or protect it from the rainy British weather).

The yacht for charter now has a spa which includes a sauna, a cold plunge pool, a treatment room and a hair salon.

Life on board Samadhi

Following her refit, the 61-metre yacht for charter has been given a new lease of life. Spaces are bright and airy and there is plenty of entertainment on board for the whole family.

Accommodation on board is for 12 guests across five cabins and one bunk cabin, which can be for children or staff. This includes the master cabin forward on the main deck, which has a marble en suite and a private sauna. For those that need to keep the real world running while on charter, the master cabin also has an office.

Up on the sundeck, Samadhi has another sit-up bar, a barbecue, free standing furniture and a large Jacuzzi surrounded by blue sunpads.

For charter guests that require a little more shade, there is an enclosed sky lounge which is connected to the sundeck by the elevator. For cosy evenings on board, this can be converted into a cinema or filled with gym equipment.

Where will Samadhi be cruising?

Samadhi is available for charter with Edmiston with a weekly rate of $395,000. The 61-metre will soon be heading over to the Caribbean for the winter charter season, following a European tour across the cooler European climes including Scotland and Norway. She will also be available for Thanksgiving in Antigua.

Saramour is a Spectacular 61-Meter Supeyacht

The 61.3-meter superyacht Saramour , designed by Francesco Paszkowski Desing and with naval architecture by CRN, features clean, clear lines and a minimalistic style which gives it a certain understated elegance.

Not surprising for a boat of this size, Saramour boasts extensive interior and exterior spaces. The aft deck includes a stylish and comfortable al fresco dining area, while the wide sunbathing area can be found at the stern (which can also serve as a helipad). In the middle of the sundeck there’s a large round Jacuzzi sheltered by the main mast, with additional sunbathing areas and a fly deck also offering plenty of room for those who enjoy the sun and the sea breeze.

The interior is airy and luxurious, featuring elegance furnishings and plush decorations. The yacht can accommodate up to ten guests in five sumptuous cabins, but it’s the owner who gets the most opulent space: the ultra- luxurious master stateroom, which is located on its very own deck.

The 61.5m/201'9" 'Lemon Tree' motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski Design.

Built in 2021, Lemon Tree boasts a multitude of decks ideal for relaxation and entertainment indoors or outdoors, ensuring guests will live la dolce vita on the open waters. Her features include a movie theatre, spa, elevator, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Lemon Tree offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, one double cabin, one twin cabin and one single cabin. The master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room as well as a his and her bathroom. There are 8 beds in total, including 3 queen, 2 doubles, 3 singles and 2 convertible. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Lemon Tree, notably a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. Take the opportunity to be thoroughly pampered and indulged in the spa plus take a plunge in the pool under the sun. Even the most discerning of charter guests will enjoy the included beach club or a gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. With Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to plus guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 130,000 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Onboard Lemon Tree has a large selection of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these is a Flyboard, experience flying in and out of the water with the latest in high adrenaline watersport. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. Also there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Lemon Tree also features waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, inflatable water toys, kneeboards. Lemon Tree features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 10m/32'10" Pascoe Limo Tender to transport you in style.

Lemon Tree is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

HAKVOORT LAUNCHES 61 METER SUPERYACHT JUST J’S

At the end the moment has arrived. the largest project built by hakvoort to date, the 61mt named just j’s, has been  revealed during her launch last week in monnickendam (the netherlands)..

The exterior and interior comes from the drawing boards of Sinot Yacht Design . Naval architecture, construction and engineering design for this project is done by Diana Yacht Design with easy technical accessibility and minimum maintenance requirements.

One of the striking features is the positioning of the four guest suites and VIP stateroom on the main deck, ensuring that guests have superb views. The main deck is home to a large dining room and lounge, with the owners’ accommodation housed on a dedicated private deck above. This extra deck comprises the master stateroom forward with large skylight, two bathrooms, a master study and a bar with sky lounge.

Above is the bridge deck with wheelhouse and a range of facilities for the captain, with the rest of the crew also being very well catered for on the lower deck. In addition to seven crew cabins forward, there are two additional guest cabins on the lower deck.

The lower deck also features a gym in the spacious lazarette. A large tender and four jetski’s will be launched from both port and starboard. Add in the sun deck with a 3 x 2 metre swimming pool and this is clearly a magnificent superyacht in every sense.
