Informal Sailing Lessons

Your U.S. Coast Guard licensed Master, Captain Nance, can give you sailing & safety instruction and techniques. An informal lesson can be combined with a charter. One or two people may want to learn about sailing, while their friends may want to kick back and relax.

Private Charters

The entire boat under the care of your Captain is the key to our private charter service. The schedule and itinerary are completely up to you whether you sail, anchor, swim, sunbathe…it is your choice. The luxury of the largest sailing yacht on Lake Travis is yours on an hourly basis. This is not a party barge but the best sailing experience available short of going to one of our destination charters in the Virgin Islands!

Book a space for a sunset sail NOW! Every Saturday, unless we’ve already booked a private charter, the yacht Quintessence leaves the dock an hour and a half before sunset for a lovely 2 1/2 hour sunset cruise. This is the one time when you can come and cruise by yourself or with a friend without booking the entire yacht as a private charter. Join other guests and meet new people or simply sit back and enjoy.

• Surf Boats: $200/hr
• Pontoons: $175/hr

Lake Travis only offered Monday-Thursday

• $200/hr (3 hour minimum)​

Lake Austin offered 7 days/ Week

• $225/hr (Monday - Thursday, 3 hour minimum) (Friday - Sunday, 4 hour minimum)

Holiday weekends $250/hour (4 hour minimum)

Groups of 10+ & water sports will have a 20% gratuity fee

Pontoons Boat Rentals

Lake Travis only offered Monday-Thursday​

• $175/hr (3 hour minimum)​

Our Process

We provide quality and affordable chartered boat rentals on Lake Travis and Lake Austin. No experience necessary - just show up with your friends, family, or business clients and ATX Boat Rentals will take care of the rest. All of our rentals come paired with an experienced captain at no extra cost.

How It Works:

• Simply click on "Book Now" and choose your desired date, time, boat & lake location. Then proceed to checkout and pay our 50% deposit.
• ATX Boat Rentals will follow up with a confirmation email confirming your booking details. Share the waiver link provided in the email & fill out an e-waiver for each passenger that will be on board.
• Prepare for a memorable day on the water! Feel free to BYOB. The experience, knowledge, and professionalism of our captains will ensure both a fun and safe experience for all passengers!
