Our amazing 48 foot sailing catamarans.

Voyages are conducted aboard the award-winning Leopard 4600 catamarans. These elegantly designed and precision built vessels incorporate safety features, large deck space, a roomy cockpit, light and ergonomic galley, and an enormous transom (for easy entry and exit from the water while wearing SCUBA gear), with an advanced sail plan that makes them fast and easy to sail. These vessels offer comfortable accommodations, excellent safety and quality construction. The perfect choice for our trips, the catamarans provide a stable platform that allows us to dive in all conditions and have plenty of room to store our gear. Full equipment is provided aboard for each participant and there is no sharing of SCUBA gear or waiting for your turn to dive. As we dive directly off our yachts, you do not have to wait around for a dive boat to pick you up, allowing you much more adventure.

The 4800 catamarans are true blue-water cruisers featuring a self-stacking mainsail with integral sail cover, roller-furling genoa, and twin 55 hp diesel engines. An electric windlass with handheld remote makes anchoring easy. The raised helm station is at the forward end of the spacious cockpit and above the cockpit’s hardtop roof, providing 360 degrees of visibility. A hardtop bimini shades the helm. The cockpit has walk-through access to the swim platforms, a full electronics package that includes a color chart-plotter and autopilot, stereo/MP3player speakers, a large table, and lots of seating. A wide door opens to the luxurious saloon.

The saloon features a plush U-shaped settee and a large dining table with seating for eight that converts to a double berth. There’s also a HD TV. The galley has all amenities and plenty of counter space. The yacht has four luxurious double and two single staterooms with dressing areas and en suite electric heads and separate shower stalls. There is ample storage space throughout. Numerous opening ports and hatches provide superior ventilation to keep the cabins cool and comfortable. The yacht is equipped with a powerful generator.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is a safe, fun introduction to diving. You’ll safely explore living coral reefs in the tropical Caribbean Sea, under the direct supervision of an experienced PADI scuba instructor. You must be at least 10 years of age to participate in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience.

For students interested in jumpstarting their OPEN WATER PADI CERTIFICATION before arriving in Puerto Rico, the academic portion of the course is now available online through PADI.

Sail, Dive & Dine catamaran tour

Diving in bonaire.

Our Sail, Dive & Dine catamaran tour is all about diving in Bonaire. Together with our partner Buddy Dive we want to give you the best diving experience on Bonaire.

We will sail along the beautiful coast and have two guided boat dives. Our first dive is on Klein Bonaire. Together with Buddy Dive’s dive master, you will go into the water to discover the marine life of Klein Bonaire. For the non-divers we offer a guided snorkeling tour. After the first boat dive you will receive a tasty lunch prepared by our crew.  

To fully experience scuba diving in Bonaire, we sail to a second dive stop in the Bonaire Marine Park. While divers once again enjoy Bonaire’s underwater world, non-divers can snorkel or swim. Once everyone is back from scuba diving, we will sail to a beautiful, sheltered spot where you will have a delicious 4-course dinner during sunset.

All users of the Bonaire Marine Park (the waters surrounding Bonaire) are required by law to pay the  Bonaire Nature Fee from STINAPA . If you haven’t already, please acquire the Nature Tag for every passenger before your tour.

The Sail, Dive & Dine tour is not wheelchair and stroller accessible. Also, it is not recommended for people with heart conditions or any other serious medical conditions. Lastly, it is not suitable for pets. 

The minimum age for the Sail, Dive & Dine catamaran tour is 13 years old.

Please inform us in advance about any food allergies / dietary wishes. Then we will take this into account.

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 4 days or less before the event.

Blue Planet Divers offer local day trips on our well-known boat “Choksomboon 9”. This dive boat is a trademark of our centre in Koh Lanta, since it is the first vessel we used when we created Blue Planet. Its captains, named Wee , even considers this boat as his first wife. The boat departs every day from the Saladan pier at 8 AM and bounds for our amazing local dive sites in the Andaman Sea from Koh Lanta. With this boat, it takes about 2 hours to get on the site.

This 60 feet powered catamaran is the best option for our special 3 dives around the Andaman sea. It has the most incredible facilities for a short day out. Diving around Koh Lanta is becoming a luxury service with Blue Planet Divers. We have all new features on board with Nitrox membrane system as well. This 40 boat seats is perfect for this special day out. No crowd with all this space and quality service on board guaranteed.

This fast boat departs from Saladan at 7:00am to reach any of our special 3 dives farther sites. It takes only 2 hours to get to our special and far Hin Deang / Hin Muang instead of 4 hours by slow boat. We are usually backing to our 3 dives trips at 3.30pm in early afternoon. So you can enjoy the end of your day with your family or friends!

Small Catamaran "Emily"

Our fast small powered catamaran has been designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. This little Catamaran is larger than common dive speedboat and best offer for distant destinations. It has a large dive deck where guests can sit comfortably to eat or prepare for the next dive. This boat can easily accommodate 15 divers including the staff for our special three-dive day trips.

This fast boat departs from Saladan at 7:00am to reach any of our special 3 dives farther sites. It takes only 1.45 min to get to our special and farther Hin Deang / Hin Muang and usually backing to our 3 dives trips at 3.00pm in early afternoon. So you can enjoy the end of your day with your family or friends! However this little spacious catamaran is the most perfect vessel for our private trips offer to places such as Koh Haa or Koh PhiPhi .

The course and the people at Blue Planet is amazing. From my Pool Sessions to the last dive I have felt welcomened on the boat and part of a diving family. The diving instructors are very professional and take their job very serious. I can only recomment doing your certifications with them. Brice was the best instructor I could have asked for. He had enough patience for all my questions, called out the mistakes I made but also told me what I really did well. He loves to explain everything in detail what is very helpful. It might be more pricey here than in Koh Lanta but the courses are profesional, you are never more than four students per instructor and if you are as lucky as I was you might even have a 1 on 1 class. Definitely my best experience I had over my 4 weeks in Thailand.

The dive team is very professional, well organized, with attention to every detail to ensure everyone's safety. They took time to teach the required basics, and to answer all our questions about the diving process. We did three 40+ minute long dives in three different sites with stunning underwater scenery. There is now a "fight" to get to come along, before with the single hulls there was not so much interest, the reason is simple, it is more stable, more seaworthy (she is great for the seas around Phuket which can become choppy at times), more versatile, and a lot more fun than the previous boats.

Hi Ray, Now about the boat, I am very pleased with it. Weather was poor the whole time I was home but still spent 5-6 days out on it, it certainly handles well, the winds were blowing up a really good chop and the cat wasn't phased at all, in a 1-1.5m wind assisted chop was still able to cruise at 17-20 knots directly into it with no loss of comfort, so was really happy with the way it handles.
